The best restaurants in West Midlands

Love the food but the chef/owner is just rude

My husband got food poisoning after eating the chicken burger here. He became very ill just hours after his meal, and we’re confident this was the cause. Really disappointed, especially as the service was decent. Would strongly urge the restaurant to review their food safety and kitchen hygiene. We won’t be returning.

The best coffee shop in the area

Our regular eatery in Kenilworth. Size of normal menu and specials board never ceases to amaze. Tasty food cooked and presented beautifully. The best restaurant in Kenilworth!

There was no butter or ketchup on my sandwich

Used to love coming to bear for food but my last couple of visits have been mediocre to say the least. Veggie breakfast this morning came out without halloumi (the main centre piece to a veggie breakfast) no communication that this would be the case. Spoke with a member of staff who thought they may have run out the previous day. Told a delivery had arrived and they would prepare some. I had to asked for the rest of the breakfast to be returned to the kitchen to keep warm.. the results a Luke warm (clearly been sat out on the side) breakfast with an overcooked poached egg. For £13.90 I'll be going else where in town for my breakfast.

Perfect selection of beers. Plenty of vegetables with mains. Lovely garden. Could give five stars if they offer a smoke free terrace.
