Sadly, the Landlord Eddie passed away recently. He always kept a great pub running fantastically well and I am certain this will continue to be the case moving into the future. RIP Eddie, I will raise an excellent glass of Guiness to you next time I am in.

What a Gem, I loved it... Wonderful Welcome and an even better Hot Chocolate. Just what I needed, The food was Sooooo Nice. The decor is perfect, incredibly comfortable indeed. The bathroom was immaculately clean which is always a plus...! Really looked after business. I highly highly recommend it. I will be definitely going again!!

A local drinkers pub with late night entertainment at weekends and plenty of sports screens. Always has entertainment on a Saturday night. Facilities have been extended to now include a covered indoor space in the back garden. A well run pub with an eclectic clientele 😀. Welcoming to everyone.

I used to use this little cafe when I was in high school, maybe 15+ years ago. I was back in the area and fancied a greasy spoon style breakfast and I really couldn't have picked a better place! We ordered 2 x mega breakfasts, they were HUGE, just what I was looking for. All the food was fresh, cooked well and v hot. For the 2 breakfasts and 2 white coffees, I paid just over £25. Service was good, staff were v polite and welcoming.

I had a meat Balti which was lovely but the look on my wife’s face told me something was wrong she Three pices of chicken in a very watery soup which didn’t Taste of anything The Pilau Rice was lovely and the popudums . My Garlic Nan was red in colour and a bit burnt in places but was ok Taste . Unfortunately my wife’s meal Chicken Balti was awful . i would have complained if we weren’t in a bit of a hurry.

Had Sunday lunch here. Staff were so friendly and helpful, squeezing us in at the last minute. The roast was delicious! And they were happy to make up a vegetarian option for 2 of our children. The puddings were amazing and big portions... If you get the chance to try the bara brith bread and butter pudding you really should! Highly recommend.

Absolute shocker. Won’t be going back. Booked a table in advance as website said it was recommended. Expected it to be bustling. It wasn’t. We booked for 13:30 expecting a lunch menu - we were given the evening meal one and the server said it was the only one. Website differs. Server was poor, didn’t know “of the day” options. We had pate on toast. Pate was nice but only one slice of white bread toast (dry) and from a small sliced loaf. For £7.00. Never asked if we wanted anything else when plates were removed. So we left.
