Food is exquisite, service excellent, great ambience. Best meal in a very long time.

Lovely hotel with lots of character. Rooms a little on the small side and fan provided (it was very warm) was poor. Great location and delicious cooked breakfast.

Superb evening meal - a treat for the taste buds in historical surroundings.

Special setting. Nice presentation but small portions. Pricey.

Sunday lunch excellent, professional service, great atmosphere

What a fantastic hotel, lovely experience. The staff are very welcoming and the food is excellent. The cooked breakfast is delicious and would definitely recommend. Plus the bed was incredibly comfortable.

The best Sunday lunch ever! Have also had lunch and dinner here before and cannot fault anything, food and service are amazing. Would definitely recommend 🤩

Fantastic atmosphere, amazing food 👌

The service and location are excellent. There's very little to dislike about the food (apart from the terribly scrapy plates!) My major quibble is the price which I felt is too much for what you get, particularly the wine. HArd to fault in many ways but excellent Sunday lunches are available at a more competitive price in the area.

Decent food, nicely prepared and well presented in lovely surroundings. Vastly over priced wine. Having been a few times now I won't hurry back as there are other, more competitively priced options available
