The best restaurants in Wednesfield South Wolverhampton West Midlands

This is a stop off most mornings after dropping the Partner off at work. 5 minute walk from the main carparks in wednesfield behind the town centre. Always friendly staff, good hot pasties, pizza, bacon rolls and most other Gregg's items. Coffee is always good and fresh and hot. Outside chairs and tables close to all other shops and chemists . Best cafe in wednesfield, not to be missed

Cheep drinks and food looks good.

The food was, and always is, delicious - which is obviously one reason we keep returning. The service and standards are also clearly evident and part of a very positive experience when dining out. Thanks. Dave and Jane, Wales

Never go here again ! Mixed grill ,cremated burger , chop all bone no meat and bacon just fat. More mushroom than anything else. Will not go here anymore!

Booked a table arrived on time , there were 3 other diners waiting to be seen to , infront of us. Waited ten mins before anyone came to us. The guys infront were pointed to a table and off they went. She asked our name, stared at the screen , asked again stared at the screen , “oh we don’t have a booking in that name” how many is it for ? What’s the name ? More staring at screen “oh found you “ pointed at a table. We got to the table there was a woman standing at it saying she was waiting for a ramp for her disabled son to get him up the steps. Found another member of staff, back to the iPad “ what’s the name? 3 times oh I carnt find a booking in that name ? Original staff member came over “I have found a table for you !!! 20 minutes of this. In the meantime we watched the lady and her friend struggle with the guy in the wheelchair up the ramp . Staff stood and watched ? Our table was on ground level at the back why could they have not given the lady with the wheelchair that one we could have walked up 3 steps Seated we ordered drinks on the app while looking at the menu, ordered the meal via the app sat talking 20 minutes before the drinks arrived 3 mins before the food. I had the steak and chicken strips fondue, my friends had the mixed grill food was nice apart from the sausages being hard ? And my fondue bit the cottage loaf they put the cheese sauce in was freezing cold. No good putting a hot dipping sauce in a cold loaf and the loaf wasn’t hollowed out enough so you only get a thin layer of now cold cheese sauce. That needs sorting , great idea badly executed. Also 2 out of the 3 meals arrived then a ten min wait for the third. Strangely another mixed grill . My friend finished their meal before me no sooner had they placed their knife and forks down a member of staff leaned over me to remove their plates, I was still eating RUDE !!! At least wait till everyone had finished. I don’t expect a 5* dining experience in a pub I do expect the waiting staff to have manners . A member of staff walked over halfway through banged a wine advertisement card on the table asked if the meal was ok but before we could answer turned her back and was off. Like a hit and run, we would normally order a few more drinks after the meal but decided we had had enough and left. A member of staff did say “ thank you have a nice night as we were leaving” we though we will now we are leaving. Macdonalds has better service than this place. Note to management !! Back and front of house need to gel to make it a good experience for paying customers. And that starts with good communication and training. Would not take much to make this pub an enjoyable place to visit,

We originally only came in for a drink but decided to stay for a bite to eat. Must say, we were very impressed - the food was delicious, the staff (Danni) was extremely welcoming. Despite being quite busy she always had a smile and nothing was too much trouble for her. We will definitely be returning!

The Lancaster is amazing The food and the atmosphere are just so good!! The staff are exceptional and work really hard. A special mention to Sam, who is always smiling. Nima is also a great member of staff. Thank you to all of you .

Food stone cold delivery driver said he stopped for fuel on way missing the coleslaw best thing is the pop not going to eat cold food I’ll go bed instead never again

La comida encantadora, gran relación calidad-precio, el personal muy amable, ha estado viniendo aquí durante años se fue Año Nuevo ¿puedo decir que lo siento mucho por el propietario debe haber sido al menos 25 personas nunca apareció después de que el personal rechaza a la gente, tal vez el próximo año empezar a quitar depósitos de la gente, no te decepcionarán entonces ... definitivamente volverá en el año nuevo, gracias una vez más ...

Very disappointed in the service here, came here about 9 and as soon as we entered the manager started to shake his head and we got told to leave, after asking to leave he asked for id and still said no when it was providable, the bar doesn’t close until 9:25, very disappointed with this service as customers even agreed with me and my company.

Really nice service! I had a mixed grill which was very tasty. Very nice atmosphere.
