Nickledeon in Wolverhampton

Booked a table arrived on time , there were 3 other diners waiting to be seen to , infront of us. Waited ten mins before anyone came to us. The guys infront were pointed to a table and off they went. She asked our name, stared at the screen , asked again stared at the screen , “oh we don’t have a booking in that name” how many is it for ? What’s the name ? More staring at screen “oh found you “ pointed at a table. We got to the table there was a woman standing at it saying she was waiting for a ramp for her disabled son to get him up the steps. Found another member of staff, back to the iPad “ what’s the name? 3 times oh I carnt find a booking in that name ? Original staff member came over “I have found a table for you !!! 20 minutes of this. In the meantime we watched the lady and her friend struggle with the guy in the wheelchair up the ramp . Staff stood and watched ? Our table was on ground level at the back why could they have not given the lady with the wheelchair that one we could have walked up 3 steps Seated we ordered drinks on the app while looking at the menu, ordered the meal via the app sat talking 20 minutes before the drinks arrived 3 mins before the food. I had the steak and chicken strips fondue, my friends had the mixed grill food was nice apart from the sausages being hard ? And my fondue bit the cottage loaf they put the cheese sauce in was freezing cold. No good putting a hot dipping sauce in a cold loaf and the loaf wasn’t hollowed out enough so you only get a thin layer of now cold cheese sauce. That needs sorting , great idea badly executed. Also 2 out of the 3 meals arrived then a ten min wait for the third. Strangely another mixed grill . My friend finished their meal before me no sooner had they placed their knife and forks down a member of staff leaned over me to remove their plates, I was still eating RUDE !!! At least wait till everyone had finished. I don’t expect a 5* dining experience in a pub I do expect the waiting staff to have manners . A member of staff walked over halfway through banged a wine advertisement card on the table asked if the meal was ok but before we could answer turned her back and was off. Like a hit and run, we would normally order a few more drinks after the meal but decided we had had enough and left. A member of staff did say “ thank you have a nice night as we were leaving” we though we will now we are leaving. Macdonalds has better service than this place. Note to management !! Back and front of house need to gel to make it a good experience for paying customers. And that starts with good communication and training. Would not take much to make this pub an enjoyable place to visit,

Went for carvery. Most the dishes were half empty. Roasts were all dried up, no Yorkshires, managed to get a few sprouts which were hard, no parsnips, no red cabbage. Cauli looked mashed up. Had to fill plate up with other potatoes to fill us up. When asked how was your meal and I said I've had better he didn't ask why. Nice pub with friendly staff. But carvery was rubbish.

It was packed when we arrived. There was only a high table available & my mom is on a mobility scooter. One of the waiting on staff asked if we would like a lower table. We said yes, and she cleared one for us. So good that she noticed mom on her scooter. Amazing service and the chef serving the carvery was so happy in his work. Such a rare thing to see these days. Well done Nickelodeon, you have a fantastic team. Highly recommended

Always pop in with my partner for a carvery and the food and service is always great! Cannot fault them team, thanks guys!

It was clear there were less staff on duty than on previous visits but those on duty certainly worked hard to ensure customers were well looked after , the beef and turkey roasts were excellent, the selection of vegetables available was plentiful, everything was well cooked at hot .

Went for carvery with family food was well cooked staff were brilliant my daughter doesn’t eat beef turkey or gammon and asked if they had sausage which the staff got for her no problem would definitely have again.i decided to have take out cake for my husband paid nearly 5.00 for it and collected it at end of meal severely disappointed by what you got for the price I certainly will not be getting that again the picture is actually the size of the cake

Went for lunch and the carvery meat was very dry even tho we got there as the carvery started. Not a good experience

Lovely relaxed place, whether you want drink, food or both. Prices are very reasonable and fast service. Staff are approachable and helpful. Debbie served me and was a ball of joy, always smiling and playful, just what you want.

Always have a lovely time here wether out with family or friends. Food is always beautiful & staff always go above and beyond to make sure our visit is always enjoyable. Lovely birthday surprise today from staff members Sunev & Ryan. Thank you guys & what fab singing voices you both have!! It made my day!!

One of the best carvaries served by one of the most helpful people. Good selection of hot fresh not overcooked food vegetables. Vegetarian option. Temperature of meats tested and recorded regularly. Spacious clean room.

I was served at the bar by Julie, lovely lady. Was very helpful with the meals. Run her socks off all day. I would definitely recommended this place 👍

Walked into the restaurant and it was very warm and welcoming. My sister and ordered two Carvery meals, chef Daniel greeted us at the counter, he was very friendly and attentive, explained how the Carvery worked. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced and chef Daniel was a delight, funny, friendly and well informed and he made the whole meal experience a pleasure. We would highly recommend the Carvery at Nickelodeon at Bentley Bridge and thanks again to chef Daniel and his excellent team and we will definitely be back again soon.

Only came here on Friday and what can I say absolutely brilliant came back on Sunday with my wife and still excellent roast potatoes are light and fluffy and large Yorkshire pudding was lovely plenty of meat as well which is a bonus as I don’t eat vegetables and finally mash potatoes are to die for staff friendly as well. Keep up the great work

Really excellent carvery mealwith the family. Great choice of veggies andovely toasties. All meats were well cooked but still tender and moist, even the turkey. Very helpful and friendly staff and finding gluten free options were no problem.

Absolutely amazing service food was brilliant. Julie our server full of smiles. And very attentive to our needs. Happy welcoming establishment and clean. We will Be coming back. 10/10 for julie

The customer service was brilliant. I was served by a staff member named Emily. She was bubbly and very kind which was one of the factors of me having an enjoyable experience at the Nickelodeon. The food was also brilliant.

have tried this pub in the past and it was really bad and would not tell anybody to go BUT now its been took over by green king WHAT A FANTASTIC place had a carvery with the wife and i must give praise for finally sorting this place out i do not like saying this often but 1 of the best carverys i.ve had in a long time so keep up the good work people defo 8/10 value service and quality will try again hope its as good ??

Been to the canal festival today and popped in the Nickelodeon for carvers lovely food fantastic service by Emily and Kayleigh will definitely be visiting again Thankyou guys 👍🏻

Fantastic restaurant. Staff very helpful and friendly. Food was brilliant. They went out of their way to make a perfect celebration evening. They also let us decorate the private side room. Fully recommend. Thankyou. Will be back again.
