We came as Everton fans on match night for 8pm ko and as before no hassles, very welcoming, fab cheese n onion cobs, choice of beers, great service and plethora of staff. AND treated us all as adults by serving in proper glasses not plastic!!! And decent prices, long may it continue, thank you to all from EFC fans

Been a WV1 corporate season ticket holder for over 5 years and in that time I have taken many clients to games. In the last couple of years the team have been very successful on the pitch so that has added to the experience. The turnover of staff in WV1 bar is high but the excellent Rachel, Ash and Gangun constant ensure the standard of bar service is superb. Catering is a bit hit and miss and choice is limited. Waiting times can also vary. I think the club have a job of work to do to sort out this side of the bar. This is my only complaint. Overall I love going in WV1 though and I have made many new friends in there. My clients love it too and many want to return on a regular basis.

Wings are my favourite thing and I miss being able to go to America but the fact I can get the taste of America so local makes everything better! Also the wings are that nice I want them at my wedding reception!!

never again am I ordering from this branch!!!... please tell me why is taken over 2 and a half hours to get my coffee...and it was stone cold!! disgraceful.. bringing a bad name to the other Costa branches..should be ashamed of yourselves..and don't get me started on the delivery driver

Since my initial review (I've just deleted) we've visited several times for family get togethers, as well as popping in for drinks and the AWESOME Parisian Burger. The food is lovely the bottomless brunch well worth every penny, I'm 99.9% sure they deep fry the sausage rolls, they are so crisp and tasty. A good range of cocktails and mocktails on offer, something for every palate, its unfortunate that the "2 for" offer is only relevant to both people having the same cocktail but its such a good offer I can understand why. The staff are usually friendly and helpful and try to keep on top of keeping the tables cleared.

Great pub , took some time to get served at the bar.

This hotel has never let me down, my only issue is that it is difficult to get to when walking from the station as a disabled individual. Cobbled streets and narrow paths and slatted wooden walkways can be difficult to navigate but, I know there's little the hotel can do about that. On the whole an immaculate hotel, very professional staff and a great night's sleep
