Royal London in Wolverhampton

The Royal London is a very popular pub they have a wide range of beers, lagers, and cider, including four hand pulled cask conditioned real ales on when we visited. The real ale was in excellent condition. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the service was quick despite it being a match day and the pub being packed out with football fans. We didn't have anything to eat, so i could not comment on the food.

We booked bottomless brunch - only downside was it was after wolves match so was noisy but through no fault of the Royal London. We found it fantastic food and drink & the waitress was on the ball, will definitely come back, the menu is reduced that’s also why I gave it a 4/5 opposed to 5 - as we came before and was more variety of food and drink, but what we did have was quality. Thank you x

Decent pub, slightly eclectic student sort of place.

Booked a bottomless brunch over a month in advance. Paid deposit and was really looking forward to it. 3 days before we was due to arrive I received a phone call at half past 9 on the evening saying they couldn’t accommodate to the booking due to the local football team playing at home and also they changed the branding and no longer offered cocktails. I was told that it will take 48 for the refund to reach my bank. 6 days later I’m still waiting. I’m not impressed one bit as they left it so late to cancel and then finding something else at short notice and waiting this long for a refund of the deposit wouldn’t be recommending this place again

Great match day pub with good selection of beers and food offers.

I can't really rate the atmosphere because I went there at odd hours, but the service and the food weren't good enough. Not very friendly staffs, she got the orders wrong and burger wasn't that nice but chips was exceptional hence the three stars.

Brill place and the chicken wings are so yummy to share with vodka lemonade and couple of cocktails before going into town.

Bit pricey for drinks but good food

I love this place. Its always my go to when I go up town. Staff are always friendly and you never get any trouble here!

Some of the best bar chain food I've had. Really very good and excellent service. Great value for money too, a bottle of NZ sauvignon blanc for £16? A steal. Highly recommended.

Four of us had the bottomless brunch which was great. I did have difficulty booking as you have to pre-book, however the link on Facebook messenger didn't have the pub listed on it. The staff were great and let us have the offer without having pre-booked. I hadn't been in the Royal London for some time, they still have a few pool tables and SkySports on the Tele. The food was lovely & we were well looked after.

Great food and drink,bar staff are so helpful,and it's cheaper than most place's in wolverhampton.great for family and couples.

Pretty grim on a Saturday night, but that was mainly down to the clientele, the staff were fine. Tables were uncleared and not very clean though. Reasonable, reasonably priced curry. Rip-off pint of coke which was more expensive that the decent pint of beer I had round the corner at the Posada (shame they didn't serve food).

Nice enough place for a quiet afternoon drink while thinking about getting some work done. Friendly staff, nice beers. Toilets are upstairs, which is a bit annoying if you have a wonky leg.

Ordered the Mexican food on Uber Eats, wasn't that nice and looked like it was just thrown together onto the box I ordered the rodeo chicken Tinga bowl

Wonderful Service from the front of house team Mike/Tom/Kayleigh, got welcomed and advice on their most popular drinks. Followed by beautiful food from their outstanding Chef Joe. Would definitely recommend and come back here again for their quiz/game nights held

Once again me and my friends had a great experience in the royal london. The service was impeccable we were welcomed into a warm and friendly environment with a fantastic atmosphere great work guys keep it up can’t wait to go again special shout out to Lauren (Badger) Mike Anna Bert Kayleigh Kate and generally all the staff who’ve I’ve had the pleasure in meeting. Decent pub in Wolverhampton centre. Not many to choose from these days.

Went in for some food (which was lovely), ended up staying the night for Piggy Tuesday, good night out, very cheap drinks and great service. Had a fab night.

Came here for bottomless brunch and I will definitely be returning, as the team couldn't do enough for us. They were so accommodating and we always had a topped up drink on the table. Can't talk highly enough about this establishment. One happy customer.

Good atmosphere on match days. Just a shame they don't have a beer garden.

This used to be a great pub. Now just a soulless town bar.

Good food for a decent price. Drinks cheaper than other pubs although still more expensive than spoons. Great service & friendly staff. 2 pool tables as well

The bar staff have the sense of humour of a wet dish rag and are equally as welcoming.

I've been going in The Royal for 20 years and am glad it's still around. Wolverhampton doesn't have enough bars and restaurants so it serves an important purpose. There's nothing special about the place but it's spacious, you normally get served quickly and even when it's busy you can find somewhere to sit. These days I only venture there for football games and in this respect it's an ideal venue with plenty of screens guaranteeing a good view.

Always love it in the London nice atmosphere, saw my old school teachers on the piss up always a good laugh

Staff are great here, even if things go wrong they do not hesitate to put things right. Truly treat customers like kings. I ordered bangers and mash. Unfortunately the gravy was bitter and the mash was still powdery. Ok mistakes happen. But what happened next is what matters.... Explained the food wasn't right and the staff member quickly went on to apologise and resolve the issue by offering a new meal or the same as a new meal. I really enjoyed the replacement meal so thank you.

Really nice and chill place, has pool tables, seating, range of IPA's/beers, nice food and show sports/boxing PPV.

Verrry busy no where to sit. Next Time I go I'm going to reserve a table.

We've been a couple of times and it's always been a pleasant experience. Last night was no exception although we were perplexed at how quiet it was for New Years Eve compared to other places. Prices maybe?

Very spacious and convenient. Nice music. Haven't tried dishes yet but will soon.

Reasonable prices on food and drink; sport (World Cup match) on the TV and quiz. Large open plan former retail building so plenty of space for busy nights. Close to the University so popular with students. Friendly and helpful staff and the quiz was the first 'interactive' or on line quiz I have been to so getting a handle on how it worked cost some points! Enjoyable all the same.

Came in with some friends for a drink and catch up and from the moment we walked in we were greeted by shaun and badger who are so friendly. They were very knowledgeable with drink and food suggestion will definitely be returning.

Watched football, staff were accommodating, had a great selection of food snacks. Exactly what we needed

Nice quirky looking bar, came in to see what's around the area. lovely people working but very quiet so felt a bit awkward sat on own drinking. will try again another time and hope its got a better atmosphere

Coming from London this place is excellent and so inexpensive, great value for money, wish there was one near me! Great atmosphere, I came midday but I can see it being busy later, service is better than what I would expect and I would come back again!

Love this pub, great staff, prices are fair and has a very friendly atmosphere. Music is good in my opinion and if your looking to fill up on some great wings go on a Wednesday!

Had a fantastic time doing the Monday pub quiz, it’s the perfect way to start the week! We were sat at the bar and served by Phoebe and Dan, service was top, we felt so welcomed, it was like having a drink with a friend. Lovely atmosphere!

Had a great time today for a bottomless brunch. £20 for a large meal and 4 cocktails (I'm a slow drinker) was a steal. Really appreciated the attentive service by Phoebe and Kayleigh. Would highly recommend getting booked in.

Me and my sister went for a bottomless brunch, we were served by the most amazing staff. Phoebe, Bert and Chris make sure our glasses were never empty, and ensured we were okay. Food was lovely and came out piping hot. Can not thank them enough. 10/10 would recommend.

Everytime I've come here the service has been amazing, everything's reasonably priced and the staff are lovely. I was served by Kayleigh who was really helpful when I had queries :)

Came in for food and drinks for a sport event. Food was fantastic and the chef chris was was down stairs gave us fantastic allergen advice. He was clear which was perfect for our mixed group. We will definitely be coming back!

i just want to share that Royal London is a very family friendly pub, i took my grandson there as a treat, cos i know he would be happy eating the food, our server was Shaun he went out of his way to make sure we had a good experience ! my grandson has autism , so it was much appreciate and we will be returning soon .

A decent selection of music, drinks and food. However, one criticism would be that the past couple of times I’ve been they’ve drowned my meal in sauce. I love a condiment as much as the next person, but if there’s too much it masks the flavour of everything else

The bar tender jack was great, serve me very fast and told me about the deals relevant to my order! The atmosphere was brilliant! Highly recommend!

Had an amazing night out at royal all the staff we lovely especially Lauren. The calamari and pineapple lilies I would definitely recommend can’t wait to do it again.

One of my favourite pubs in Wolverhampton, it was the regular bar me and my friends would go to almost every day for 3 years when we were at university and I still love going there, shout out to Phoebe behind the bar who always takes really good care of us whenever we’re there!!

Had the best time at our bottomless brunch! The food and drinks selection were incredible, definitely recommend the jackfruit crumpets as a veggie and never had an empty drink! Will be coming back again soon, thank you Lauren for serving us all day ❤️

I take my children to this pub quite often amd haven't been disappointed. The service is always outstanding, nothing is too much trouble. Lauren is a particularly helpful and knowledgeable member of staff and my kids always ask for her.

Went in for a few drinks after work with friends for the first time and was very impressed. I wasn’t sure what cocktail to try so Phoebe behind the bar asked me what spirit I drank, on hearing it was vodka she recommended the raspberry cooler and it was delicious. I was impressed with her knowledge and customer service so will definitely be back.

Love this pub. I have been going for years. Great service, great food, fantastic atmosphere and the staff are so helpful. Lauren Badger in particular is amazing and deserves a special mention.

Went for lunch with a friend and had a great time. Nice relaxed vibe to the place , cracking selection of drinks and the food was great too. The staff were really friendly and helpful especially the manager lady with dark brown hair. Will definitely be visiting again

A group of us had a bottomless Brunch here. The food was surprisingly good and the cocktails were tasty. Service was attentive despite the staff being busy serving the football crowd. Can't complain for £20 a head!
