This used to be my favourite place for food and drinks in town, however the stupid queueing system at the bar is pathetic. Why not have a section and queue to order food only and drinks anywhere at the bar. You end up queueing behind 6 or 7 people just ordering food, and if you just want a quick pint it's not happening!

The lovely gentlemen who served me and mom my (Jake) was lovely and so polite I would recommend his service to everyone his advice on drinks was top notch and knew his alcohol very well, very satisfied with our service

Today I visited the sun beam with friends, and the atmosphere was great, service was fantastic and a special mention to keah who went above and behind to ensure that our glasses where never empty and the food was served to perfection. She is polite and could not do enough for us

First time to this pub, went early as going to see the prat pack. Service at the bar a bit slow at times, could do with an extra hand. X four meals and puddings all cooked to a good standard and presented well, would recommend. It's been a while since I have been in a hungry horse, they do it well.

Went out for dinner with my family. Most of the dishes were ok ( just ok, nothing to write home about :). We had the tikka, gammon and steak. The first 2 were ok as I said, the steak was inedible. All grizzle and chewy. Had to go straight in the bin. Complaint to the waitress, all is she said was 'oh, I'll take it away then '. Would I go here again? If I had to.

Popped here yesterday, totally forgetting it was a home football match but managed to grab a table for me and my little one. Great atmosphere with welcoming staff. I ordered through the app and drinks were brought following my meal swiftly after by the lovely Charlotte who was so polite and interacting with my daughter too making her smile, other customers make you feel welcome here. Nice community feel to it even through a match day. My meal was hot and flavorful. Different deals for each day. Recommend a visit when you're passing 👌

Another fabulous Sunday lunch at the sunbeam , Firstly we were greeted by the lovely Jodie , who arranged for us to sit on the table we had requested, jodie is such a well mannered and professional young lady , her customers are very much her priority, Jodie is so well lied at the sunbeam, by staff and customers alike 😀 Then we were greeted by the manager Nat , and just like Jodie she doesn't dissapoint , they have definitely got the most suited manger and assistant manager at the sunbeam , and both grt a 10 out of 10 from us , well done girls for always making us welcome

Amazing food! Although it was a match day and very busy the sunbeam staff did not disappoint with amazing service and excellent tasting food. Was served by Leah at the bar and Chloe who brought us our food. A massive thank you to the chefs! Will be coming back shortly.

Me & my husband used to love coming to this place to eat. Now it's gone down hill. I mean last time we ordered there was 3 staff just walking around & the food we ordered took at least an hour & not just that but the price of food & drink as gone up like mad. I'm so sorry to say but u won't be seeing us ever again

I come here with my partner semi-regularly, frankly whenever we get the chance because the experience is more than satisfactory on every occasion. Jake, a member of staff, has been excellent with customer service and always makes us feel at home. The food is regularly on par with what you read, see and fancy on the menu, the service itself is complimented by their lovely staff, could not recommend more. Thank you to the team!

Lovely Easter bunny breakfast with Jodie and Kiera. Such a lovely time for the little ones and the attention to detail was amazing.

Everything about this place is incredible there are time when I feel like they could do better but no where’s perfect…the food is delicious the staff are friendly and welcoming…sometimes I don’t agree with how they corner of one side because of bookings because loads of the times staff say that most of tables are free and just to go sit on any if u booked…but other then that amazing place would highly recommend.

Staff at this pub are fantastic, always on hand to help with any queries customers may have. Jake and Jodie were my servers today, exceptional service. Food is always amazing and at a very reasonable price for the good quality of food they serve, drinks are very well priced with a wide selection or beers (on tap or bottles) wines and even cocktails. Whatever you drink they will have something for you. 100% would recommend to all family and friends for an excellent meal.

Visited today with friends for drinks ended up staying longer than planned and had food. It was busy especially with the sun shining but that didn’t seem to affect speed of service or the atmosphere. Ordered our drinks and food on the app barely had to wait for either. Food came out hot and fresh. Was served by Chloe and Leah who where really nice and friendly as where all staff. Overall great experience will be back again!

Let me speak about this place I was bullied by the management team here about a year ago there don’t help customers everything is so expensive and not very nice there need to change the whole management team apart from Stacey. Who is a gem

I recently visited this place and overall had a pleasant experience. I ordered the fish and chips, and I have to say it was absolutely delicious. The batter was perfectly crispy without being greasy, and the fish inside was fresh and flaky. It came with a generous portion of chips that were golden and nicely seasoned. Definitely a dish I’d come back for. I also tried the steak, which was unfortunately a bit of a letdown. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either. The flavor was decent, but the texture was quite tough, making it a bit difficult to enjoy. It just didn’t have that tenderness you’d expect from a good steak. That being said, the service really stood out. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional throughout the meal. They checked in at the right times and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Their warm attitude definitely made up for some of the food’s shortcomings.

Came here with my mom on mother's day! Food was good, although the portion was small for a 'hungry horse' meal! Come hungry n all that! Friendly staff! JAKE served me at the bar he's a really nice chap, friendly and helpful! All round good experience.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon Not sure if there had just been a crowd in but every table in the bar area was full of empty glasses A few people came in and left as there was nowhere to sit without a table full of glasses Although it wasn't busy while we were there no glasses were collected at all

terrible experience. can in a there was a table and got told to move seats because it was reserved when it clearly didn’t not state that it was. anf then got told i could get moved back? and drinks took half and hour to come and food took and hour !!!! im fuming!

Despite being very busy the staff were superb in keeping up with service. We used the app as there was quite a queue at the bar and were still served quickly.

Came here for a lunch time meal and we was satisfied with what we got, for a midday Wednesday meal I’d recommend.

Such a lovely place, really enjoyed my visit here, the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful, the full Monty was great and even better at the value of £11. They do great deals all week I will definitely be back to give another one ago, on this occasion Charlotte served me she was very accommodating and friendly a real great member of your team. I really hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

A busy day for the team in the Sunbeam, with some challenging customers. What stood out was the professionalism of Zy and Iola, if I am honest the way they were spoken to by some was abhorrent, but they handled it with a smile on their face and perfect explanation of wait times. For us, we were meeting my mom whom we see little of, great food, relaxing atmosphere and an all round nice venue.

We were let down by a restaurant in Wolverhampton and had already paid to park so walked up to the sunbeam (admittedly late for food at 8:20pm) and asked if they were still serving. Yes til 9pm .. great so we quickly ordered. I opted for the full Monty grill. The elements that were cooked fresh were faultless but the chicken, which had clearly been precooked and warmed spoiled the dinner. I would have rather not been served it. There is clearly a talented chef there who is probably restricted by management. Otherwise would have been 5 stars. The server was excellent. Didn’t catch his name.

We have had a lovely pre theatre show meal in the Sunbeam tonight, very handy as just over road. Jodie our server was very helpful with a couple of very small issues , that were quickly sorted , always find all the staff friendly and polite even when they’re run off their feet. Would recommend a visit , wonderful meals at great prices . 😊

Well, that was another fantastic Sunday meal at the sunbeam , I want to start off by saying that Mark who was behind the bar, was so attentive towards the customers and always making sure they had the best service that they expect to receive, first time meeting Mark and i have to say he was such a lovely guy and very well mannered , then we get on to the lovely ZY , what a lovely young guy and so very polite , we had booked our usual table and zy made sure we were comfortable and we had everything we needed, he is always happy and has got the customer care service spot on , so well done Mark and zy and 10 out of 10 to the sunbeam and hungry horse for making the right decision for hiring these 2 guys, as always easy booking with Natalie and never a problem with her, she is very professional and always shows an interest in her customers. The correct manager is in place at the sunbeam and always a pleasure to go there .

Been to Sunbeam for breakfast this morning. Very chilled atmosphere and food was great. The server Stacey was helpful and friendly. She asked if food was OK. Would recommend Sunbeam.

Daily menu never have problems with but the breakfast is a disgrace, had the mega breakfast toast came as hard as a brick had to have it changed, bacon and sausage over cooked if it was near the window it would of flew off the plate, egg was undercooked slimey, not a good experience ashame breakfast ruins reputation of this place. Appreciate ZY for his service friendly and professional.

On a normal i would have put*but not today.I go there on Sunday for dinner after church 12:30-13:00will enjoy the meal atmoshere for 5yrs now.Today came at 12-59 The cashier refused to take my order fo roast beef because its 5min early.So I had a drink set there for 20min left with no dinner😓😞

Visited yesterday for lunch, it was very very busy and only one lovely Girl working behind the bar on her own (Charlotte)serving drinks and taking food orders,obviously short staffing but she did extremely well under pressure, served everyone as fast as she could (the que was huge/ no manager in sight to help her)She was welcoming and polite with absolutely everyone and smiled all the way through the queue, hope she is paid well, looked after and recognised by the owners because she is a gem and made sure everyone was looked after, her customer service is 100% giver her a promotion and a pay rise! We had a lovely lunch as we always do here

Sunbeam put a nice set on for the little ones. Coloring, painting, few little toys, meal for the kids and the animal man! My little lad loved stroking and holding gecko, snake, owl and the cutest baby honey bear. Food was tasty, staff friendly and overall lovely atmosphere
