Me and my friend brought our daughters to the kids fun day, where there was a animal lady, disco, party games and loads of arts and crafts for all kids a kids meal and dessert with drink very good entertainment will definitely return for future events

Sunbeam put a nice set on for the little ones. Coloring, painting, few little toys, meal for the kids and the animal man! My little lad loved stroking and holding gecko, snake, owl and the cutest baby honey bear. Food was tasty, staff friendly and overall lovely atmosphere

We been coming to this place for years, staff very friendly and food quality improved alot. Atmosphere good always, will recommend to everyone

Really poor. 2 bar staff serving 3 deep queues. Bar littered with rubbish and empties. Over 1 hr wait for average food. Dirty tables and miserable staff. Won’t be returning!

Food came out fast and hot and sevice from Charlotte was great.

Nice place food is decent for the money staff are very attentive we called 2 consecutive nights. If we stopped in Wolverhampton again we would return. Charlotte was on top of everything and very polite.

Had Texas Jack Burger today. Very very tasty, burger done lovely nice and juicy. Bodies had been excellent again too. Always friendly and willing to help. Very knowledgeable too. Excellent employee

Arrived on Thu night at around 8pm, the pub was quite quiet (only 2 other tables of customers). Had a short break for 40 mins before the nwxt train so want to eat something. The staff members are friend and my steak was available in about 15 mins. Tasty food, nice atmosphere and spacious pub! Recommended!

Cost £14 for 2 decent sized breakfasts and 2 drinks. Amazing price and really good quality. Nat was an amazing worker, made us feel welcome . Would recommend coming here

Staff at this pub are fantastic, always on hand to help with any queries customers may have. Jake and Jodie were my servers today, exceptional service. Food is always amazing and at a very reasonable price for the good quality of food they serve, drinks are very well priced with a wide selection or beers (on tap or bottles) wines and even cocktails. Whatever you drink they will have something for you.

Me and my partner ordered to mix it ups before going to the grand, food came out nice and hot, and tasted amazing, great way to keep us full before the show, staff where so helpful and seems like an all round happy environment, even with how busy it was for them

They had no milk for customers that wanted teas, coffees or hot chocolate. Oops!!!!

Do not go on a busy day, service is terrible, waited 45 mins for food, staff were polite but seem overwhelmed and under staffed

So we walked on Sunday 29th December for a drink and as usual there was a queue for food, 2 bar staff on , one was going snails pace and the other was in a faff about someone’s order. Stood at the bar for 5 minutes then we decided to leave , this pub definitely needs more staff as it’s the norm every time we visit. Other than the staff shortage it’s a nice pub for a drink if you manage to get served.

Had a party...gave a list of all food weeks before..still couldn't get the order right. Csm up with all excuses. Made a complaint to the public relations team ..didnt even read my email properly, therefore did not answer my concern. Will NOT be having a party there again! Yes Jodie you did and I told you when you was trying to sort out the mess with the payment that I wasn't happy.

I bought a friend with me today who has never been to Sunbeam. My friend was not impressed as she walked in to see so many uncleared tables of dirty plates etc, Food portions for the price were small. our table was still wet from previous customers, the cutlery was not clean had dry food from previous, no napkins, we noticed the tables were being cleaned with furniture polish instead of D10 as myself and friend are both food hygiene trained. Furniture polish will contaminate the food as it leaves the smell in the air which goes into the food and is unpleasant to smell for those already eating. The staff who bought our meal literally dropped the plates on the table and walked away . There were no smiles from serving staff no enjoy your meal, no let me know if you need anything else or even a return from serving staff to see if everything is ok.

Came for a quick drink before getting the train Jake served me and he was very polite and gave us a bag to replace the the one that was wet and ripped 👌🏻 really nice

Lovely morning breakfast at The Sunbeam today; nice and chilled atmosphere with wonderful service and a hearty plate of food. If you’ve not tried it yet, you must try the breakfast gravy!

Busy venue after a wolves match, the food came out and had been cremated but our waitress, Chloe was an absolute star, she replaced the food without question and quickly.

Awful customer services. Arrived before 1pm but not allowed to be seated due to booking from 3pm and afterwards 'just in case customers arrive early'. Usually come every week but have lost a regular customer and will be finding elsewhere to dine. **Update to response - I understand keeping tables reserved for 2 hours prior to the booking as this would ensure that there is no overlap but 3 - 4 onwards is a joke. Again, will not be coming again and will stick to the Nickelodeon at Bentley Bridge. At least you will continue to be busy during theatre and football days and my business will clearly not be missed.

Food was good but children's Bolognese was watery pasta, not a great visit this time. Small portions with the meal and a drink deal and beer choice with a meal deal is limited to carling, not like wetherspoons where you can have almost any choice of drink. Staff were very friendly though and replaced the child's meal relatively quickly. There is a long wait for food on theatre days so get there early.

We used to eat here quite regularly and aways enjoyed the food and the service, we had a couple of bad experiences including booking a table to receive a phone call five minutes later cancelling because there was something on at the grand and having to send the same dish back three times as it was cold so we stopped going. We heard there'd been a few changes so decided to give it another go yesterday, first girl that served upon entry was lovely and friendly the subsequent server not so much. The drinks were definitely overpriced. My lamb kofta was delicious but half of my wife's cheese burger quesadilla was burned (she declined my taking it back) but it was kind of fortunate as the second half was flavourless so at least the burning gave it some. Unfortunate as we'd enjoyed this place so much in the past.

Came here for a last minute dinner with my partner. We both wanted the full Monty mix grill, excited. When it arrived we were instantly confused, his was missing onion rings and mine had less than a handful of chips. Looking closer my steak must’ve been no bigger than the salt shaker on the table. The gammon was flavourless and the chicken a mixture of tough but also mushy. We decided to just give it the benefit of the doubt and eat what we could to then find out some of the chips were still mostly raw. I’m never one to complain but this was shocking compared to the other hungry horses I’ve been to.

Another great Sunday lunch at the sunbeam, Jake and zy was behind the bar working very hard as the theatre was on and so it was super busy, Jake sorted us a table where we like to sit , he always has a smile on his face and he is such a positive member of staff he never seems under pressure and keeps his composure at all times , Zy is a lovely guy he served me and had the patience to wait while i adjusted some of the meals , so a big shout out to Jake and Zy and are both valuable team members. Then we have the lovely chloe, she is amazing and she is always working so hard and very curtious, a lovely lovely young lady with the perfect attributes to make the management team. So we'll done guys a 5 star rating for you all Cheryl

Delicious food from the festive menu. My only issue is that the venue seemed understaffed for a busy lunchtime and there was no mulled wine

Went in this morning for breakfast, ordered a cup of tea whilst looking at the menu, the cup was absolutely filthy, inside and out, still had a faint look of red/pink lipstick on the rim, went up requested a new cup, was given another cup which was the same state of worse! Got up and walked out no way was i eating there of they cant even wash/sterilise a cup!🤮 minging

Having to spend a week in Wolverhampton for work and The Sunbeam has been my little home away from home. Service has been top notch, everyone has been amazing and big shout out to Jake!

Jamie and Jodie were welcoming, helpful, very attentive, professional and a credit to the establishment. Food was excellent value. Perfect location for a trip to the Grand- we will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely Christmas meal 10 ladies all enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It was lovely and warm too. We had a lovely table in the window. Jodie was our server she was very pleasant and bought extra gravy. We have been on several Christmas meals here and always enjoy it. We will be back.

Very difficult. We visited on match day so that taken into consideration it was OK. We only had drinks. Got served eventually and the drinks were ok.

Waste of time. Got seated to a table only to then be told they are not taking food orders when we try to order. Waste of time and 2 hungry children.

We always try to use green king/ hungry horse as they are dog friendly. Despite the website stating that dogs are welcome we were turned away. It’s a shame as we had made some effort to find a suitable pub as dog could not be left in holiday accommodation alone. I would suggest that the website should be changed accordingly. First time we have been refused entry to this chain of pubs!

Quite busy when we visited, as a Friday afternoon. Had Guinness, liquer coffee, rum and coke Ordered bogof burgers, the smokin jack and the korean bbq chicken. Both meals were lovely and filling!! 😋. Chloe our server was smiley, friendly and helpful. She did a check back to make sure everything was OK. Really nice!!!

Breakfast was bad bacon was really greasy sausage was like it was cooked yesterday and reheated toast was cold and hard . Paid extra for toast and jam did not expect cold hard toast.sorry to say the best part was the tea and orange juice rate it one out of 10 discussing

Me and my daughter visited sunbeam today for a quick meal when we arrived it was extremely busy due to the theatre showing that evening with the high demand the wait was 45 minits for food Ty and Jamie was on the bar managing the rush they was very patient and polite staying professional under the pressure and still remaining to give every customer a lovely welcome with great customer service from start to finish!

Siempre vamos aquí cuando visitamos el Gran Teatro , la última vez hace un mes fue un desastre y terminamos saliendo sin comer tiene la comida no estaba lista a tiempo y teníamos que tener un reembolso completo. Dispuestos a darles el beneficio de la duda volvimos el viernes 08/11/2024. Habíamos reservado nuestra mesa para las 6 en punto, fuimos a pedir al bar y nos dijeron a las 6. 10 que no podían garantizar que la comida saldría antes de las 7 , dije que si no era así solo tendríamos un reembolso la chica detrás de la barra dijo que no reembolsos porque te estoy aconsejando ahora. Pedí hablar con el gerente y ella dijo muy groseramente que no tiene sentido que solo le dirá lo que he dicho. Huelga decir que nos fuimos y encontramos un restaurante alternativo que era mucho más amable y mucho más eficiente para comer. Por supuesto que ahora conseguirán nuestro negocio en las noches de teatro que es probablemente una vez al mes. Qué vergüenza verte a la luz del sol, contento de que puedas permitirte seguir perdiendo el comercio.
