Nice little cafe that I visited with a friend a few weeks ago - lovely and clean and a good selection of lunch food - we had jacket potatoes and tea, served by a friendly lady - enjoyed the visit.

On arrival at the restaurant we asked for a table for 5 initially, then unexpectedly another family member joined us. On politely asking if we could squeeze them in we were rudely told we should have booked. I apologised and said I didn’t realise. We were then rudely told we would be blocking an area. I asked the owner if he would prefer we left to which he replied ‘yes’. I was so taken aback I thought he must be joking but seemingly not. He was completely unrepentant as we left with my 83 year old father who has breakfasted there many times. My dad was most upset and said he felt he could never go there again after being treated so rudely. This is extremely surprising and disappointing. The owner’s attitude and tone of voice is horrendous!

Came in with my family as a group of 6 in the morning for breakfast, it wasn't full. We asked the manager(the man that works there) if we could add another chair onto a 5 seater table. He then said very rudely "you should've booked" and that adding another chair would block where people would've been walking? He then proceeded to kick us out and said to take our business elsewhere. I was with my grandparents and have never been so shocked how rude that man was. Do not go here unless you want to feel like an inconvenience!

I came here to have a nice breakfast with my grandfather and was greeted by a very rude man who turned out to be the owner. As there was 5 of us, he sharply told us we should've booked (even though there were plenty of tables that wouldnt be blocking anyone's path). Once we were seated, he proceeded to be rude. His strange behaviour led us to believe he was joking and maybe had a dry sense of humor but no. When we asked if he was being serious, he told us he wanted to leave and basically shut the door in our face.I have never met a business owner that is so dissatisfied with his business. Surely if you want a cafe to thrive you need customers. I have many family and friends in the area and will be warning them about the aweful customer service you receive as soon as you step through the door.

Called in for a coffee and a bite to eat. Lovely little coffee shop - bright and airy, spotless clean - good coffee and plenty of choice on the menu. What's not to like?

Called in on spec for a quick light lunch. Premises are fairly small but well decorated and clean. Needed a high chair which was quickly supplied, again nice and clean. Had the toasties which were full of flavour and oozing with filling, we tried the tuna and cheese and bacon, cheese and cranberry. Good quality ingredients were obviously used. Both served with either a choice of coleslaw or salad. Coffee was served in a generous sized cup. Quite an extensive menu, our two toasties, coffee and cola worked out at under 16.00 pounds which was reasonable value.

Lovely cappuchinos and cups and saucers and nice snacks. Quite small but pleasant and if not raining there are a couple of tables outside.

Very rude male owner. Tables free but did not want our custom, shutting the door on us before we had even got out the building. You would think a coffee shop in Tettenhall would have better manners. Will not be returning.

Massive thanks to everyone at Zest Coffee House. We have been having a coffee and doing some work before we run a computer session in the local area. Each time we go we are greeted with a lovely smile, we have table service and the staff are very friendly. The food is presented wonderfully and we always feel welcome. Wifi is strong too! It's a bit hidden, but it's worth the find.

I work in Tettenhall and rarely go out for lunch as the coffee shops are busy but we ended up in Zest which was quiet and did not smell of cooking! I ordered a sandwich and a coffee which soon arrived - it had just been cooked and was lovely - good quality food FRESH and tasty. I would certainly go again and recommend this little coffee shop in a quiet arcade to my friends

Having worked for a coffee company and had many cups of coffee, I have to say this was pretty poor. I have visited this cafe twice now with friends , I sent the Coffee back the first time, the second I just decided never to visit again. His comment about the beans is not the reason. They need a better barista. The cake was ok . Service also ok.

Situated in a quaint arcade in Tettenhall village Zest Coffee House is a family run Coffee House serving a range of coffees, teas, sandwiches and cakes. Just steps away from the car park, Zest is a no frills, spotlessly clean friendly place with lovely staff. I was particularly impressed with the explanations for all the types of coffee .. makes life so simple. I can recommend their roasties and paninis... always served with a choice of salad .. and as for the cakes .. superb. Orders are served fresh and quickly. A perfect place for a solo sit down with wifi or a meet up with friends.

Nice place to relax. Went in for coffee and cake which were really tasty. The cappuccino was very well presented with a very interesting spoon balancing on an equally interesting cup! Becomes more busy around lunchtime but it's far less hectic than some of the competition in Upper Green.

I dropped in for a quick lunch, ordered the soup, had a choice of 4 so decided to have the mushroom soup. When it arrived it was nicely presented with a warm white roll as expected. As I was leaving I enquirered if the soup was home made( which I was doubtful it was), my thought was correct as I was informed it was knorr soup, the roll was like a supermarket soft roll. This was very disappointing as home made soup is much better and with a fab bakery on the doorstep this seems an opportunity missed.there is excellent competition in Tettenhall..........the cost for this was £4

This was our first visit to Zest Coffee House, very nice place. My mother-in-law and Bro-in-law are regulars and we met up for her birthday. Good choice on menu and a 'specials' board. My husband and I both had the veggie breakfast although it was lunchtime! Good choice of 'dessert/cakes' and drinks. They do hot meals, sandwiches and takeaway. Had to wait for the food as it is cooked to order, but not long at all. The place is light and airy and the staff very nice.

Well this was my first visit and as soon as we walked in on a very wet and dark day, the friendliness and warmth just took over. I arranged to meet a very good friend. We both have children with Autism, and was very worried at first. But this worry had soon disappeared! The staff were very friendly and could not do enough. Then comes to the food.. the diet, what diet!! It was superb!

The chap that owns it was far from friendly. They didn't seem so happy to see a family walk in. We ordered 3 x slices of maltesers cheesecake plus chocolate cake, 2 milkshakes and 2 latte's. The latte's were cheap tasting. My husband was served with a slice of cheesecake that was COVERED IN MOLD. I refused to eat any of the 3 slices we were served as it was obviously way over its use by date. They should have refunded us £7.50 but all we got was a half-hearted mumbled apology and a £6 refund. We exited as soon as we possible and will never be going back.

Popped in today while I was in the area, it was freezing out side and inside looked warm and inviting! So I popped in and was warmly welcomed! I was served straight away and invited to take a seat and my coffee and food was brought over to my table! Coffee was served with a complementary biscuit which was a nice little touch! I stayed for around half an hour and enjoyed my food and drink! It was clean, bright and very modern inside! I enjoyed the Peaceful atmosphere! I will definitely pop in again if I'm in the area :)

The owners were very helpful as we arrived past the time they normally serve lunch. They kindly served us 3 x lovely home cooked food. I have a lovely chilli, My daughter ate a beef pie which she says was amazing and she liked the large plate of chips that came with it and my mum's lasagne she said was lovely. Thank you we needed lunch as we had driven up from London and then on to Biscester for late night shopping.

My husband and I visited Zest on 27th November for a bite to eat for lunch. We were welcomed by the new owners Liz and Bill who told us they were staying open later that day for the Christmas Light Switch On. Thus was nice as some of the others in the town seemed to be closing their normal times.

Have visited three times under the new management. The food is reasonable for the price. I found the new owners not very welcoming. The male owner seems uncomfortable with being anywhere other than behind the counter. Twice I have visited and both owners have been chatting with their backs to the door with no welcome to the establishment. I will try once more, if no improvement will return to the Lime Tree or Vanilla whose customer service is superb.

We visited Zest for the first time and was made to feel very welcome by the staff ..The place is absolutely spotlessly clean. The coffee is amazing and they have a very good selection of food. After our disappointing visit to The lime Tree last week as it is filthy, it was nice to go to a coffee shop that is so clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend Zest... Zest is hidden away up an Alley by the post office in Lime Court, but it is really worth the visit, you wont be disappointed
