food was very tasty and the quantity was more than enough for one person.

Always a good welcome and a great choice of drinks including very well kept real ales. Couldn’t be handier for the Station as it’s basically part of the building.

My wife and I had a brilliant night last night at the club, it was a Soul and Motown themed night, the DJ played great music and the place was sold out, we pre booked the food, which was simple but absolutely delicious, one of the best sirloin steaks I’ve had in a long time anywhere I think the club itself has been on a knife edge for a few years now but I think these themed nights will be it’s saviour and a priority is marketing and selling to younger generations, if I was to hazard a guess last nights average age would be 60 - 70 and we won’t live forever !

Could not fault anything at all. Food was delicious service was on point price on food was cheap. Very clean & safe atmosphere will definitely come again nd recommend to all my friends and family!!!

I have been a Zarkas customer for 40 years. It used to be one of the "go to" places for the staff at local nightclubs like The Place in Hanley, The Placemate in Newcastle and Chicos in Hanley to go, to meet up over a meal after they finished work, I know this is true because I was one of them. Unfortunately the vibrant buzz is missing these days and sadly the menu is the same as too many other take-aways so there is nothing to make it stand out. The staff are nice. The place is clean and you can eat in as well as take out. My personal favourite from Zarkas is a jacket potato with "butter" and popcorn chicken. There is no car park but there is some street parking and it is near bus stops. It is near Stoke Railway Station and not too far from Cauldon and Hanley parks and Staffs Uni and they do deliver.

This pub on the Staffordshire University campus has a cool, student vibe. The atmosphere is great, mostly filled with young people and students. They’ve got some decent food and snacks to go with your drinks, plus fun stuff like a pool table. The staff are super friendly and nice. Overall, it’s a solid spot to hang out. Definitely recommend!
