Excellent food, freshly cooked to order. Piping hot with a generous sized naan bread made freshly from the clay oven. Good value for money.

Amazing lamb krahi Authentic Qabli pulao And proper Qehwa Authentic one. Roti and naan was good. Fully enjoyed the lunch.

The Qabuli Pulao was excellent—delicious and generous in portion. I also tried their Chicken Biryani, but it didn't quite meet my expectations. However, they do maintain consistency in terms of taste.

Authentic afghan restaurant, They are serving Delicious and halal food, it's better than a lot of afghan restaurants in Manchester, I would recommend it to everyone ,must try Manto and bolani,

First time trying Afghani cuisine- really enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, the staff helpful and friendly and the restaurant had a good family friendly atmosphere. Will return if we visit Stoke again.

Service was awful waiter forgot glasses for water after asking many times, wrote wrong order. After correcting wrong order we still received the wrong order. No apology and was asked to pay full price for their mistake. No communication between waiter and owner and nearly charged us extra due to the original wrong order. No acknowledgement of mistake and nearly robbing us also. Not formalities at all from staff and food quality declining. Owner rude along with waiter. Please eat here at your own risk and check many times before and after ordering.

This is a gem of a restaurant. It has a ‘cash only’ policy. Do carry cash if you’d like to try out the restaurant. Also, no allocated parking available. Amazing food in terms of Afgan cuisine and reasonable portions. The restaurant offers family and usual sitting. A shared bathroom is located inside the restaurant which is old but kept cleaned.

Kabuli Pulao is very very nice. Massive portion for £20 you get naan bread and a curry with the pulao

The pache pilaf you prepare is not pache pilaf at all. You separate the rice and separate the pache soup. This is not the way to prepare pache pilaf. You have to cook the pache first and then cook the cooked pache together with the rice. Many of our friends are not interested in your restaurant a second time after placing an order in your restaurant

Very delicious nicely presented Afghani dishes.

We were visiting from Newcastle and were looking for nice halal food. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing, the qabli pilau and qurma dishes were very good. They even have options for kids, my youngest had chicken nuggets. It was so good we went 2 nights in a row.

The customer service is not good waiting without knowing what is going on owner does not speak to customers to make sure everything is ok ..cash only no receipt! ..expensive for the low quality food ..one lady staff doing many things serving taking money etc adding to more wait ..very dissapointed only liked the bread not recommended at all

Drastic improvement from last visit 6 months ago. The place is super clean and food looks and tastes cleaner. Unbelievably good, I don’t know how they achieve such a taste with local ingredients. These people have upped their game, but also upped their prices. Can no longer be considered to be cheap especially for the area. We’ll worth the money however. Qurma is out of this world good. The saag and dal with the Qabili is outstanding and the unfriendly owner seems to be keeping away from facing the public which is a plus

My sister and her fiancé suggested this place because of the kebabs. So they took me there. I wasn't disappointed. In fact I would say that this is the best place I've ever been to for spit roasted tandoor kebabs, naan, rice and meat. That's not just Stoke, it's definitely the best food in Stoke. Hands down, best kebab and naan I've ever had.

Feel like a homemade food. Naan and curry was fabulous, biriyani worth for money but could be better. Asked for raitha but surprisingly said run out. But still worth for the money paid and I am sure we will return.

We ordered a lamb biryani. It is just a turmeric rice with 4 pieces of lamb. Worst place to have a biryani… Must avoid if you are looking to eat biryani.

Lamb karahi & kofta kebab were amazing 👏 😋 ,only issue was i ordered chiken tikka with six pieces explained by the staff but they given us lamb tikka with 4 pieces & fries were presented when our kid finished his half meal overall its good 👍

Staying in Stoke for one night visiting Emma Bridgewater factory; our Airbnb was a minute walk from this fantastic restaurant. How lucky we were. Enjoyed delicious food in a full restaurant (always a good sign) and wish we lived near enough to become regulars.

Pilao with lamb shank and spinach+ lentils on the side was delicious. The grills were a bit dry. Mango lassi lacking sugar. Fresh Nan was nice n fluffy. Customer service was not so great even from the Manager/Owner when asked you dont have tap water and the reply was a simple "No". The single waitress was running around nonstop and trying her best. Cash only aswell.

Lovely halal, authentic Afghan food We came from East Mids for day out at the SuperBike factory in Macclesfield and wanted some good halal food. We were not disappointed. Haven’t had good Afghani food in a long time and wasn’t disappointed. Much appreciated. Garlic kebab were so amazing as was the lamb Qabuli pulao

As soon as you walk in you have confidence as the tables are full, there was only myself and my wife, but we were shown to a table for four. And the space was needed, the food was fresh well presented and plentiful. Both of us were full and my wife enjoyed it so much she asked if we could take the leftovers home, which they obliged. The price was very reasonable and the most important thing as my wife was pleased.

I ate some of the best food here. The biryani was light and fragrant, the lamb fell of the bone. The chicken curry was delicious and the chickpeas and spinach rounded it off. Beautiful food thank-you!

The most important thing the food: It is sooooo good trust me(I have an Afghan friend and his mums food is just as tasty as these guys). They give such a big amount of food too for how much they charge. The wait times are decent 15-20 minutes because it is a restaurant after all. The staff is nice and they’re smiling which is such a good thing to see.

I was not expecting this but all I can say is even come from Scotland the food and service was out class Highly recommend.

The food here is delicious! I haven’t had a great Afghani cuisine in years. If you haven’t tried the Kabuli Pulao on your trip then you truly missed out. Staff is friendly. But again, as expected, these guys are cash-only and tax evaders. Horrid.

Came here after alton towers. It takes about 30mins from there. I am very fussy when it comes to other culture foods, however this place did not disappoint. I would give it 10/10. All female staff in the kitchen. All food felt authentic and cooked to perfection. I would defo go back again! Prices are different from the menu though.

Me and my wife we order lunch in this restaurant we have been told to pay cash only. The bill was £31.50 (verbally told us by the lady who took order from us)I paid £40 they don't have change so we have to wait until some one will get some coins from outside shops. Later on another lady took over she hardly speaks English she asked me again how much I paid and how much is the Bill I said the Bill I have been told is £31.50 but she enter details into till and charge us £33.50 and fail to provide us receipt. Very unprofessional no respect for customer, not even said thanks to us because she assumed that I am not telling her the truth. I don't have the price list in front of me, I don't want to argue because I have been told by her staff. I would not recommend this place which will make you unhappy for the rest of the day.

Staff friendly. The food is very good with a wide range of choice. There is no alcohol served here, although you can bring your own. The decor has a middle Eastern influence which adds to the experience.

Had the meal for four, my son and his girlfriend have the appetites of youth and we enjoy a lovely spicy, savoury meal - we were not disappointed. I cannot describe the range of wonderful flavours and tastes we found, there was that much that we had to take some away with us. Speaking with the very personable manager, he mentions that it is 'food his mother serves up' and that can get no better than that! I strongly recommend a visit, its a lovely restaurant with flavours to match, we travel 20 miles to go there and it is worth every inch we take.

I've ordered for my cousin without checking if they do deliver food when I called the restaurant they politely apologised they can't deliver but they agreed to help and it for me I really appreciated their nice attitude the high quality of services they have very delious food I recommend you guys go and try their yummy plates

Good restaurant for afghani menu. Foods are tasty and large portions for reasonable price. Today we went during the Iftar time and the restaurant was almost full. However the person who runs the shop managed to find us a table. Cash only payment.

Amazing food, so glad we stumbled across this place. Ordered the set meal for 2-3 persons plus the lamb karahi which was loads of food for the 4 of us, we took some home. Generous portions, very reasonable price. We also loved trying the mango lasso and the cardamon green tea which were both excellent. Wish we lived nearer!

This place is the best afgan place in Staffordshire I think we tried to find another one just to compare ended up going all way manchester to be disappointed the owner is nice chap and even tho the waitresses tend not to get the order right it adds to the occasion they always have a smile even when my friends brings there baby they play with her I've brought alot of my English friends here they all love it the nan breads are the best ever go for the mixed kebab started then either the lamb kahrahi or chicken tough descion be nice if u can pay on card but no issue.john
