Ordered a breakfast for delivery this morning, missing the omelette. I called the shop, and was believed to be speaking to a manager. She informed me that she packed it herself and it was definitely in there. I explained that it clearly wasn’t and I couldn’t miss this as the box was too small, she then said it’s in the other box! I explained there wasn’t another box again she asked if I was sure. I asked her to speak with her chef about this and maybe the order had been mixed up which can happen. She came back and said her chef packed it and defo cooked an omelette. I told her that her chef was a liar, she said she would look into this via cameras. I informed her that I wouldn’t use this service again, the food was presented lovely, however bacon was burnt, toast was dry and obviously missing the egg! When I explained that I was disappointed her attitude was shocking. When you spend £15.00 for a breakfast you expect it to be half decent, the food and customer service fell short of this! Extremely disappointed.

Worst Indian street food ever. Samosa chaat at a costly £7.10, wasn’t even correctly prepared - no pomegranate, no yogurt, no coriander, no onion, and came with just one samosa. The butter chicken wrap was dry and not buttery or creamy at all. The aloo parathas were dry and did not come with any sauces. For £20 I got tiny measly portions which is an absolute rip-off. They also used misleading marketing promotions which is illegal. They promoted their drinks range at £0 per item when in fact you have to include an add-on, which then charges you over £5 for a drink!

It's a lovely little place to have breakfast, nice decor, decent menu and lovely staff. I wish there was a just a bit more variety on the menu and if only they would bring back the lemon chilli chips which I used to love!! Will defoo be going again.

Every time i visit Chaiiwala Stoke i am greeted with joyful smiles from excellent staff. Depeeka, in particular, goes above and beyond for the needs of their customers. Today, i hv been there for lunch, i was in a hurry to go back to work, i told her, and she kindly agreed to inform the chef. I got my food served in less than 10 mins. I highly recommend this place 😊

The whole team are always incredibly friendly. They provide amazing service and never fail to put a smile on my face. The food and drinks are truly amazing, second only to the aforementioned service. I've introduced many people to Chaiiwala Stoke and will continue to do so for years to come. You owe it to yourself to visit.

Hiii surbina there, I came last month on 13th was special for me becz of my mum's bdy,I want to buy food from chaiiwala becz she loved food,the lady was there,Poorly trained,don't know how to treat customers, I said want to sit on the table please wipe the table she said yeah for everthing i asked for allergen board but she even don't know,disrespect never did anything for me.I came last week morng and same lady was there, very bad experience one of my friend also told me like customers don't want these type of services.. Lack of resolution. ... Lack of human contact. No good English, she don't know how to suggest something else bored, I asked for lettuce and cucumber she even don'tknw about tiny thing. Last week also came same lady was there I don't want to come next time also when I told her to repat my order she said check the screen that time I read her name .Love chaiiwala and food but services was unpleasant by Deepkaa. Please sort this out for me.

No WiFi, which is very poor for a cafe in 2024. Very small and cramped cafe. Over priced food and drinks. Not worth the prices charged. Staff are okay but slightly lazy. Food is okay but very average, especially for the price. Tables need to be cleaned more frequently, it's only a small place so should be done much quicker and should be cleaner.

The Chai didn't taste fresh, it felt like it had been leftover from the morning and was still being served at almost 2pm. It tasted stale.

Only ever got Uber eats but the food always arrives warm and delicious. One of the best takeout places in stoke.

This is our most favourite haunt. We come here almost once a week, and the staff know us very well. The food is amazing. It’s not often that you get street food that’s flavoured because of ketchup and mayo. This tastes a little like home and feels like that too! All the staff are amazing, and as I know Amandeep and Bhinder by name, I want to give them a shout out. Five stars, for the food, service and the assuredly amazing quiet time there.

Visited the Stoke location yesterday and bought a cold drink to have in. The ladies serving refused to give me a cup & wanted to charge me 40p. Ridiculous to sell drinks but refuse to offer something to drink it in. The cola itself was nice & coffee is really nice. Went back today and the gentleman serving was very forthcoming. The small cup is medium and their large cup is medium and the large cup is called extra large. Pointless and confusing.

The food is half decent, but staff are lazy, ignorant, and couldn't care less about customers, and they just stand around yapping. Better off elsewhere.

Very bad experience, i ordered 3 item and received only 2 item, when informed to shop one of the lady said like they can't deliver item do to busy time and there is no refund also. its a waste experience.

I ordered halwa Puri but disappointed of that totally. Puri was like crisp(hard).

I think there is only a place in “Stoke” that refreshes you and gives that vibe to face the day’s tasks is non other than the “ Chaiwala” .I’m a student who always need a boost and energy to engage with my studies and part time works as well . The “Karak Chai”☕️ is the best option which provides that boost to face your day . The “Hot Drinks and snacks are so delicious and worth enough to the prices. i haven’t tried their cold drinks but their hot foods are “Top notched”. When it comes for the”Customer Service” , Out standing service is provided by them specially i’m very happy with the service provided by the lady called “Jas” . She is very customer friendly other staffs also very well in their profession. Atmosphere is very clean and hygienic you never find a place with such kind of cleanliness in “Shelton” area

Chaiiwala Stoke is a must try restaurant. The ambience, food and the service are good. The seating area is nice and sufficient for the courstmer.

I went chaiwala stoke first time i had good service..food was so delicious and fresh ..staff very cooperative...i didn't wait too much for food service was quick as compared to other takeaways .i wanna recommend to everyone to come here for enjoying scrumptious food as per your choice and pocket because very affordable prices....... thanku of team chaiwala for giving me wonderful experience

LONG WAIT TIME.. 0 PRESENCE OF THE MANAGER OF THE SHOP ALONG WITH THE STAFF CHATTING AWAY IN THE KITCHEN. FOOD ALSO CAME COLD. I WOULD LIKE MONEY BACK! Again... The food got cold in 5 mins and I had to remind them about my order. Also paid 5 £ for the Mac and cheese and it was not worth it. The food looked old and STALE! 45 min wait time as well. Ridiculous. Please can the manager contact me about this so I can get my refund please. This is unacceptable.

Very disappointed. They will charge you for large chai without your request. Bean curry lack of flavour and texture. For £14 you recieve 2 ready made from frozen pratha. I paid extra for the extra curries for extra £4. Disappointment comes in 3's. Price, sunstance and cheeky upsells

I was a Fan of the hot karak Chai . However , today one of the employee served me a tea which was not hot and were transferred from other packed cup (16/11 at 18.20) . I saw she sneaked at us to check whether I am noticing what she was doing , unfortunately I haven't assumed she will do such us ethical things to a customer. Please educate the employees .

Let's talk about seasonal coffee for a few minutes. We tend to slap on a few qualifiers to say that something is seasonal. Hallowe'en? Toffee. Christmas? All-spice, you get the picture. But in Chaiiwala all coffees and chais are made the traditional Indian way, through the addition of condensed milk, ginger and cardamom. The taste of the coffee is gentle, almost as if it were something you'd get from Starbucks three weeks in a year and then wish you'd be able to get again. It's frothiness is far too low to be a Latte, or even a cappuccino, but that's due to the preparation method. This robusta prepped coffee uses condensed milk as a sweetening method, which sadly removes any frothy consistency UNLESS you have a very thick foam head. I prepare my coffee normally using condensed milk and I am pleasantly pleased to see that there is no clash between the acidity of the bean and of the condensed milk. A trap I've seen a few coffee shops fall into (Vietnamese / Thai) is the acidity of the bean being too high. But after a few sips, I can confirm I don't need the brown sugar packet I grabbed just in-case, the coffee is perfect as-is. Service was fast and the server was very accepting of my 4-hour train commute, as I was very slow ordering!

Was craving some paratha and chai for breakfast and I this satisfied me greatly. It was a clean and beautiful place,friendly staff,my food got to me on time. Packaging was good as well.

It is actually small stores as layout , but has a big harmony between the designs, services and brand images that it is easy to stay in your memory. My favorites is chana masala rice and dahl, Strongly recommended to everyone to go and test the food and place Vibes ...

It is a great little Indian cafe. The food is very Indian to the taste, not Bangladeshi, Pakistani or Sri Lankan. It is very clean and has a friendly staff.

Overpriced for dead food nothing is tasty just below standard. Item missing and I called up and she didn’t have a clue how to resolve it. If you want the good stuff go Brum!

I went to chaiiwala to buy two mango faloodas. It wasn’t made properly, they had no ice cream, no noodle only had mango milk cream. This happened 2nd time. Waste of money and waste of time. won’t be going again.

Ref: NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE AT CHAIIWALA STOKE ON TRENT I visited to Chaiiwala to have breakfast with my wife and had a disastrous experience which I ever had. We only ordered a breakfast meal all I asked for MY TEA NEEDS TO BE EXTRA HOT( REHEATED). The guy probably called “AKESH” gave a horrible service, he had no attention to payment which I was waiting to pay finally I had to tell him if he could press enter for card payment, in addition he never made any eye contact, never smiled rather turned himself as miserable. Although during my oder he DID mention that he would make my tea hotter however he never made it HOTTER while he was serving us the meal rather he was extremely rude, behaving unprofessionally and started arguing with me in front of all the customers with giving all the ridiculous excuses for instance; temperature, the whole environment became abnormal because of him. I asked for a Manager while he replied HE HIMSELF is the Manager then I asked for OWNER while he was acting exactly as a Dictator by refusing me to provide any management contact details. The guy just didn’t bother anything. I became completely helpless and upset, had to walk away without having our breakfast, what a horrible nightmare was it! I am genuinely a big fan and loyal customer of Chaiiwala, whenever I visit Birmingham/ London I always go to Chaiiwala with my friends and family. Even since the opening day of Chaiiwala in Stoke on Trent I regularly kept visiting, literally everyday. I always requested the member of staff to make my tea little bit EXTRA HOT and to be honest with you each and everybody did it for me in regular basis. Whenever I visited costa they even always made my coffee extra hot. Unfortunately the same guy made me disappointed one more time before as well. Because of him I stopped going into Chaiiwala for a while. I do believe Chaiiwala is a brand name and it is definitely not like an unnamed high street tea stall. Hence as a customer we deserve minimum respect whereas it was really really upsetting we drove into the store and had to walk away without having our food, how shameful was that! I do apologise for the inconvenience caused for us at the same time I do believe you will consider as a serious complaint and take appropriate measures and investigate the matter accordingly.

Beautiful food, I fancied mixing up my eating habits and I'm glad I did, I had a rice bowl and it was delicious, fragrant and fresh. I enjoyed every mouthful. It's a little more expensive than other places but you the quality is worth it. I will absolutely be ordering again.

Lovely interior, staff are pleasant there's AC and it feels very spacious due to the large glass front as well as a large mirrored wall which gives a nice feel to the place. It is quiet even on a busy day and is central to Stoke station leaving a short 5 minute walk to the or from the train station. Good selection of food, overall great experience

The all serving staff is hardworking, polite, and conscientious. There is quite good time management and nice dining facility. No doubt it is a bit expensive.

It was a really great experience. I was on a visit to Stoke-on-Trent, and spent a good peaceful 45-60 mins. The bombay sandwich and karai chai was refreshing at the end of a rainy day. The service was quick and the staff were friendly as well.

Ambience was nice as always. Have been having their samosa chaat for a while now however today's looked very different, slightly lesser in quantity and just not as good a taste as previous times. Would really love to have the usual taste back! Kebab role was nice, and we also had a chicken tikka pasty which my partner really liked.
