Great little pub food is spot on friendly staff

Just had Sunday carvery delivery. My husband and myself really enjoyed it. With no kitchen at the moment we thought we'd treat ourselves,so glad we ordered from here. We will again in future.

Great local friendly and welcoming

Popped in on spec as wanted a carvery lunch and we were shopping over the road. First time we have been in this pub and will be back. The meal is far cheaper than the big chains and hits it out of the park. There is the customary three meats and a good selection of veg. The portion of meat was emence far more than you get at one of the larger outlets. The veg was plentiful and cooked to perfection and the gravy was nice and thick and beefy. There was the usual selection of sauces. In conclusion this is a hidden gem for Sunday lunch well worth a visit.

What a lovely pub,friendly reasonable prices and the carvery was amazing 10 out of 10.will be returning with the rest of the clan.

We ordered Sunday carvery through uber eats. Delivery on time but everything was lukewarm. Very generous portions bu no taste and having to microwave didn't help. We shan't be ordering again. At £32 including delivery it was poor value for money ad disappointing.

What a little gem, hidden behind the doors! Was not expecting the pub to be such a cosy, friendly place. Sunday carvery was great and good to know you can order delivery too. Plenty of tv's to watch the sport, good outside space with ample car parking

The pub is nice and clean very friendly people and staff . I was very disappointed as two of after work after a good few beers but it was CASH only and we only had enough for 5 pints between us so on we went on a lil nighter else were .

Cosy, welcoming pub. Cheap drinks, think I paid £3.50 for a pint of Madri which usually costs about £4.50/£5 where I live. Friendly locals. Would recommend.

Quirky pub with welcoming bar staff. The Sunday roasts are well known in the area.

We were recommended to try the Sunday Lunch at The White Horse Tunstall Stoke on Trent. Booked in for 1pm our welcome was warm with a nice table reserved for us. There were about 6 or so more tables where food was being eaten which ranged from the Sunday lunch to burgers. The place was very busy with take out orders but the selection of meats (turkey, beef and gammon ham) were lovely. Vegetables generally ok (mash was beautiful) but the roast potatoes were disgusting- dry and very over cooked. Availability of cauli was disappointing. Overall the food was ok (tinned potatoes was not really expected) The meal cost was £8:50 which felt a bit expensive but would not put me off eating there again Overall ok, nothing special but fully functional

First time ordering a carvery from here. Great value for money with very large portions. Delivered on time and with good packaging so no leaks in the bag. Can’t believe I haven’t ordered from here before, will be ordering again.

There carvary is superb. Way better than Toby's. Everything is cooked fresh from scratch, loads of choices of veg. 😘Including cabbage,Swede and cauliflower cheese. 3 choices of meat. Homemade gravy. Collect or delivery. Found me a little gem. The cook should be very proud as its proper homemade cooking 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Portion sizes really good and you must try the sticky toffee pudding 😋

Decided to try this pub one Thursday night as myself and a few work colleagues were out having a few pre Christmas drinks nearby. However when we get there just before 10pm the door was locked and an old miserable bald strange looking man answered and said it was closed even tho the place was lit up inside. No explanation no apologies either? Shall not be returning as its obviously a pub for friends and family of the owners.

Ordered for the first time from here today. FABULOUS! I ordered a roast dinner with 3 meats and a variety of vegetables (my only criticism would be that I like my vegetables cooked slightly less) Beautiful meat, quality ingredients, everything perfectly seasoned and tasty Large pot of excellent gravy! Was delivered hot to my door within 20 minutes of me placing my order! Really enjoyed and would recommend!

For the price you can't complain but you have no reason to complain the food was delicious all served hot and was tasty I had turkey gammon and beef with my Sunday dinner with all the trimmings and all for £6 . The service provided was great and with a smile

Has the name carvary in its title, it did no food. Definately a pub for locals where passing trade is not welcome. Sad really.

Ordered for first time today it said 35 mins for delivery it came in around 25 mins and i will definitely order again it was very filling and lovely. The gravy was absolutely amazing. 5 stars all the way

One of the few old fashioned pubs left. Have a baguette for lunch, and if you do, treat yourself to a bowl of their home-made chips. Or have Christmas lunch here!

This public house is very friendly and my gf and I really enjoyed ourselves we only went for a couple of drinks. But it was most enjoyable.

Went here to play a doubles match at darts and found the place to be very hospitable it had everything you need in a pub and more will go again

A dark and dingy pub, with foam ceiling tiles and a very tired decor. The beer garden has a lovely "industrial wasteland" view from beside the bins.

Dinner was delicious and staff are always very polite and always make u welcome.

Good food on a Sunday with Ryan's sunday roast with all sorts to choose from... Nice place watch the football and relax and play pool as you have the juke box... Good and let down hair nights on a Saturday with karaoke and always a laugh... Friendly atmosphere and tip top to standards, cant say more...... Come and see for yourself....

This is my new local pub, great choice of beers, lagers. All staff very friendly along with the punters. Haven't tried the food yet but only heard good things.

Can honestly say this is a lovely pub, staff are friendly the service is great. Food is beautiful and at the weekend if your looking to let your hair down the karaoke is perfect for that, music is always to everyone's taste defo the place to be wether your after a bite to eat or a fun night out!!
