Jay's Cafe in Stoke-on-Trent

I’ve been visiting this establishment for years. It’s one of my dependable go to’s when I take friends and family out for lunch. The food is always really good and the staff are lovely.

Great place always love the brekkie and a milkshake 👍😋

Eat here 2 times and both times incredible food and lovely work colleges very friends and very clean! 5* ALL ROUND

Place was absolutely fantastic, fed 2 people with sandwiches and drinks only £11. Would definitely recommend.

Been here a few times (usually when I am hungover) but it’s a great little place for some breakfast plenty of options. The big full English is the go too however have had the oatcakes before and they were still spot on! Prices are really not that bad but sometimes it feels like you are waiting awhile to get the food!

Been here a few times over the years. I give this place another go after the last time thinking things would change as I wanted a nice breakfast but was disappointed as when we arrived other people who came in after us got their orders taken before us and also had their food within about 10mins of ordering and took a long time for our food come by that time the hot drinks were not hot. The order wasn't fully right but we sorted that ourselves by swapping things over. The mushrooms were chewy, not cooked right, chips hard dry, bacon was ok, sausage not the best, egg was nice and bread and butter. Bread and butter helped it taste alot better. Milkshake was really nice though can't fault it, had cream and sprinkles. Such a shame as the food has changed since it changed hands. Server/waitress was nice who took order. Would have loved to give a positive review but just can't sorry. 3 stars as I liked the milkshake and drinks.

We come here every couple of weeks for our lunch at work. The staff are always lovely and friendly, the food is well priced and always great. It provides a nice, cosy atmosphere and is very welcoming. We always look forward to having lunch here

Best place to have an English breakfast cooked to your preference! Yes,they serve lots more but we always go there when we fancy a good English breakfast! The café is immaculate The staff are friendly and accommodating Definitely give it a try!

The best breakfast in Stoke on trent by a million miles. Staff are brill and always friendly and happy to see you, good prices and portion sizes and have a good selection of items to choose from. Always been very clean when I've visited.

I was travelling from Stoke on Trent to London and found this place by chance. Nice friendly people, great breakfast, highly recommend.

Fabulous breakfast, great service. Slightly more expensive, but absolutely worth the money. I've been twice now and had take away and sit in, both breakfasts were superb.

I've found my local breakfast spot now. The search is over. The breakfast here is so good that there is no need for me to keep looking. Hot, fresh, tasty, cooked perfectly to order. The staff are helpful, friendly and efficient.

Really friendly staff, cooked a meal not on menu for little girl not because she is fussy because its what she fancied..we all ate off the menu and food was well presented and fresh. Best place I've eaten in ages made you feel like you were family.

A great little cafe. Jay, the owner, is lovely. It is warm and inviting with an extensive menu for both breakfast or main meals. Food is top quality, the best bacon I've tasted in a long time. Highly recommended.

Good food with excellent prices and portions. Really enjoyed my visit all the staff were very friendly. My partner and his dad got breakfast which they both loved. I got a panini which was delicious. Good selection of soft drink choices as well. Was well presented.

We had a breakfast each delivered this morning due to lockdown. The delivery was on time. The food was hot, plenty and amazing. Definitely worth ordering from there. The best cafe in Stoke!

Amazing greasy spoon cafe! Food is amazing, big portions and cheap. Nice surroundings and the owner is friendly, nothing is too much trouble and very good with children.

I don't come to stoke center often needed a brew but wanted hot food this place is amazing top quality food and service and fresh cooked as I could barley touch my food from being so hot and thats what I like

Used this place lots, but prices are way up too much...1 egg and chips(fries)..2.70..avin a laugh..its stoke

We eat at Jay’s on a regular basis and have eaten a variety of meals, everyone of them have been excellent. The staff are obliging and pleasant as are the owners! The food is presented beautifully and the price is extremely reasonable. We will continue to visit this well run cafe on our visits to Stoke!

Went in there the other day on passing and was all ok till we where eating and one of the staff where smoking out the back and filled the cafe with the smell of cigarette smoke totally put us off

Jay's is a cosy café down London Road Stoke on Trent. Its nice place for coffee, s sandwich or just sip a drink. In summer its nice to sit out sipping coffee n see the busy world pass. Prices are reasonable and the service friendly.

Absolutely love this little gem of a cafe and visit each time I go to Stoke. Always very welcoming. Good variety of food on offer. The lasagne is my favourite and they will substitute chips for extra Salad. Always clean and has toilet facilities available. Would definitely recommend a visit!!

Lovely little cafe I had a breakfast it was £6 Well worth it. I didn't have the egg as I don't really like them. But you get a proper cup of tea not a tiddly little thimble to drink out of. Staff very pleasant and attentive
