After nearly going there for nearly 28 years, the service, quality of food and portion size is still the same. Staff are always brilliant,wouldn't er go any other Balti but Sangam 2. Well done lads.

Food delicious it's better eating in than ordering takeaway and having it delivered. Unless takeaway is limited to Sangam 1. We had a meal for two delivered which cost £52 there was a delivery charge, a service charge and a charge for bags which was unbelievable 😞 but we had a meal for 4 to eat in including starters and accompaniments plus poppadoms and chutney tray for £97 and if you don't eat everything you can get containers and bags to take it away in free of charge

Great place to take a group of friends and family's for celebrations time, would recommend this place at sangham. Nice food 🤤

Very good. I have been going there for over 10 years. The food is very good. Reasonable price and the staff are very nice. You can also take your own drinks

As a person who’s grown up consuming Asian food, the food here was extremely mediocre. Both our chicken balti and chicken biryani had a severe shortage of salt. The restaurant was clean which was really good. The staff came across as so uninterested.

Brilliant place been going both sangam s for the past 30 years

We ordered chicken tikka masala, nan, keema nan, poppadoms and pilau rice, the curry was watery and didn’t taste anything like a chicken tikka masala, the nan was dry, the keema nan was a folded nan with some meet placed inside, and the poppadoms tasted stale.

Want tender lamb .. or perfect fall apart chicken? This is deffinately a place to order from .. the food is bang on. Tonight we made our evening order as usual and the manager came out himself to tell give us his compliments and to let us know we had ordered something a little different by mistake.. even still it tasted absolutely perfect! Deffinately going to be one of my regulars.. while your there.. TRY the lamb samosas.. their fresh and perfectly cooked. Thanks guys id add pictures but its gone already 😂💯

I was really disappointed with our visit at the weekend. The restaurant is slightly better looking inside, than bollywood next door but the food here was no where near as good. We had a curry, a sizzler plate, rice and naan and I can't say that any of it was particularly good. Everything tasted quite acidic/vinegary. The rice was full of soft onions (way too many) it was more like onions with a bit of rice. The chicken was huge but so dry. Even the chicken in the curry was dry. You can take your own drinks and the poppadoms were OK are the only positives to be honest 😏 I won't be going again anytime soon.

Sangam is as safe and secure as it gets! ✔️You know what you’re getting! ✔️You know it’s gonna be good! ✔️You know the service is always spot on! You can easily park (robbing council will have you for a few quid) Okay this ain’t Dishoom. It’s good honest food! It’s a favourite with many Stokies, many of them go monthly and I’m sure some go weekly! You’re gonna pack the calories in and you’re gonna enjoy your food and roll out of the place with a smile. I haven’t had a bad meal here. Be your own judge. 👨‍⚖️ If you want a boozy drink, it’s bring your own… 🍹 Garlic rice will keep vampires away!

I have loved Sangam for years, but on this occasion, NO. Food ordered at 7pm. Phone call made at 8:30. Obviously the order had been lost and food arrived at 9:35. And was decidedly average. So, it will no longer be my go to place.

Amazing food and the staff couldn't do enough for you! Couldn't fault it at all. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Just had a takeaway. Chicken tikka masala with cheese garlic nan bread. Beautiful. The cheese in the nan is like a pizza. 😍 Fabulous. Thank you once again Doctor Sanghams xx

Having been told how good this place was, we were really disappointed. The food didn't have a great amount of taste and the ingredients felt a little cheap. The experience however, wasn't helped by the customers on the next table. To sit there gassing up on beer then just belching the night away, very loudly, with a limited vocabulary of words or should I say word that began and ended with F. Soooo classy, not. Sorry but not the place for me.

I have been eating at this restaurant for over 20 years. The service is excellent; the food is amazing - so so tasty. Parking at the rear. Thoroughly recommended!

Thank you so much Sangham 2! We arrived in a rush after another food establishment was suddenly unable to serve food for the 9 of us, despite us booking with them in advance. We only an hour or so left to eat before the Claybody theatre performance at Spode. Luckily Sangham 2 quickly sprung into action, feeding us fast with lovely food. Thank you for rescuing us! We appreciated your service and the food was great.

My party of 9 had booked a table at another restaurant before a theatre show at Spode. When we turned up at that venue we were told that the kitchen was shut. We needn’t have worried. We tried Ssngam 2 and they were superb. Seated us all, had our drinks and all orders sorted in minutes and all the mains came together. All delicious, we couldn’t have asked for better and we made it to the show in plenty of time. You were all stars Sangam 2 staff. Thank you. 👏👏👏

Whilst I may go to others... Sangams is one of the best Curry houses in the country, and am happy to recommend them to anyone. A regular haunt for us.

Food was ok but only ok took just over an hour to arrive Has 2 sets of menus on there fb page curry on one was £9.95 and on the other was £12.50 I didn't see that one till after the food came so not happy with everything

Food and service was fab, but the atmosphere was something else. We were placed by a massive group of people who were super loud wow, but other than that great 👍

The restaurant's setting and ambiance create a pleasant atmosphere, yet the flavor of the food proves to be disappointing. Entering with high expectations fueled by positive Google reviews and ratings turned out to be a regrettable decision. Nonetheless, the Mango Lassi stood out as a delightful exception. Perhaps this contrasting encounter stems from my distinct preferences as a South Indian. In any event, the overall experience starkly contradicted my initial expectations.

Really tasty Indian food. Portions were hearty, sauces and naan bread were excellent The Patia in particular was top notch. Staff were very friendly and attentive. My sons verdict was " if we are back in Stoke, we have to visit Sangam again" - says it all.

One star for cleanness and friendly staff, I heard good things about this restaurant so I thought we give it a try. I was very very disappointed in the food I ordered a chicken masala and it was vile it was all salt that’s all I could taste salt and tomato paste the chips were very hard also. My fella had a balti he’s not a fussy eater at all and he didn’t even have 10 mouthfuls he said it was tastless so we left it. I wouldn’t recommend going here but that’s our opinion maybe we had a different chef that night n the food is normally good?

Service here is exceptionally good but the talent front of house wasn't matched by those cooking. Food was "ok" but not exceptional, particularly at what was, we thought, fairly high prices (£8 for one portion of onion bharjis with sauces, £17 for veg curry with rice).

Came here a week ago and my food was so spicy I struggled to eat it. I thought I would try again last night. What a difference, I did try something different. I had the lamb karai a more authentic dish, the waiter told me it had a lot of chillies in it so I asked him to reduce the amount they would normally add and they did. It was delicious I could taste all the other flavours and it had a fair amount of fresh coriander which I love. The nann was crispy, light and fresh. I have scored down on the atmosphere only because people were out for Christmas and were very loud. Overall brilliant service, we just had a main and were in and out in just over an hour. Well worth a visit!

Another good night welcoming staff, good atmosphere and great food, beware though be hungry as the portions to me seemed huge. No problem though staff are happy for you to take home any remains. All round good restaurant

Heard lots of good things about this place. My 1st visit but was not overly impressed. The staff were good and the restaurant was nice. Toilets were not great and the food was OK but very bland.

First time at Sangam's for me, although some of my work colleagues a few doors down from the restaurant had recommended. I was really impressed, good atmosphere, busy, very friendly staff, there were 11 of us so we were seated upstairs for a bit more space. A good menu, I went for the chicken and prawn balti, really tasty and plenty of it. Mushroom pilau and great size garlic nan to accompany, easy enough for two! Friends who ordered the lamb dishes were most impressed too, I'll enjoy that next time I think! Also worth mentioning, this is a BYO restaurant, not many shops to purchase alcohol close by, so organise in advance. Thanks for looking after us Sangam, see you next time.

Friday night, let’s have a takeaway from here as everyone says it’s the best! Well it’s the worst one I’ve ever had, no taste to the curry very bland, madras had no spice, poppadoms tasted strange (cooked in veg oil maybe), just a bad after taste and for a £1 each - daylight robbery! The lamb was tough, and chewy, would not recommend. Won’t be returning, honestly the worst Indian I’ve had in a long time. :(

We were meant to dine at some other restaurant but we incidently tend to park our car outside this one and the ambience appealled us so we decided to give it a try. Loved it. Food was delicious. We order 1 veg side dish and 2 veg main course and the quantities were more than enough for 5 adults. Had peshawari Nan so if you are ok to eat sweet bread (stuffed with raisins and coconut), go for it. Staff was good too
