If your looking for a top notch curry here is your place . The best curry house I have been to can honestly say that , but yes that is just my opinion of course , but I have been to alot of curry places around stoke & other areas such as Wales too . This resteraunt does the most best of the best . The prices are very fair too . I ordered a lot of things which cost me £65 pounds , other places would of been around £ 90 to £100 , also for a top quality curry and sides , I had korma and the sauce is just beautiful delivered professionally just heaven to be honest . I have only been once , and will be returning keep up the good proformance .

We had previously had a takeaway curry which was very tasty so was really looking forward to dining in the restaurant. Except for the young waiter with glasses, the staff never engaged with us, no smiles or welcome, quite rude actually. Ordered drinks to be told in a minute & he walked away ! Ordered a spicy curry but it was bland & the worst curry we’d ever had. Our first & last visit to this restaurant.

Food tastes great! Best in burslem if you’re looking for a curry and great options too. They also deliver and it’s best to book a table on Friday/ Saturday or special holidays as it can get very busy.

The meal was a bit mixed. The meat eaters were happy enough with their meals. I am a vegetarian and asked is they could make me a mushroom pathia. I explained I didn't like veg like carrots and potatoes in my curry. It arrived and it looks like it started out life as a tin of happy shopper mixed veg. Nothing like the mushroom pathia I was looking forward to. I didn't eat any of it and just pushed my plate away. I'd ordered an onion bhaji but in the confusion of asking for my curry to be based on mushrooms the onion bhaji arrived as a mushroom bhaji! The chips were high point for me, they were lovely. Shame no one asked if we had enjoyed our food. From my point of view I wasn't impressed.

ordered food and found a short hair on one of my chips, i always go to moguls and cannot fault them but i am disappointed

Amazing curry house, by far the best in the area in my opinion, we never go anywhere else. Always an absolutely cracking meal and top tier service by all the staff.

16 of us went for a birthday meal all food cooked perfectly, and it all came out together. Can't fault it, will be back again.

6 of us went on recommendation. It was one of the best curries I've had for a long while. Service was excellent (could have asked us regarding drinks a bit more often but that saved us drinking more I suppose). I had something called ?murch padina? (can't remember exact name) which I'd never heard of but had a distinctive minty taste to it. The others had your more regular curries - bhuna, tikka massala, that sort of stuff and there were no complaints. If you go - you've got to order the chips. 10 out of 10 for them. Poppadoms come with the regular dishes and all were excellent. Brilliant night with brilliant food.

We had a fantastic meal here this evening, food was amazing, the best curry that we have both had for a long time. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Restaurant was very clean and well decorated. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. If you're looking for a change try the " Something different" menu.

POOR FOOD POOR SERVICE!! Delivery good isn't the same food as served in the restaurant. Ordered via food hub unable to get a refund for a shockingly bad meal. Cold stale food that was unedible. AVOID.

The meal also came with mango chutney, pickle and yoghurt & mint sauce which was off and completely spoiled None of this was as bad as the after math of trying this food about 1 hour later. This food gave me explosive diarrhoea all night with stomach cramps way into the morning. I will be reporting this to environmental health. IF YOU WANT A SICK DAY FROM WORK THIS RESTAURANT IS PERFECT OTHERWISE AVOID!!

Booked a meal for a party of 12 for daughters birthday. Food was lovely. All food was bought out at same time for everyone so no one was left waiting for their food and we could all eat at the same time. The only downside is they need to play some sort of music as when there are only a few customers it's very quiet. Would definitely recommend to others.

Absolutely fantastic, myself and partner have been coming here for a while. First time back after lockdown and it still doesn't disappoint. Brilliant staff, vibe and food. Deffo recomend the Pilli Pilli (not hot) served on a skillet. Always empty plates!

We ordered last weekend, came really quick which I was very impressed with... until we tasted our meals. £26 worth of food and it went straight in the bin. Absolutely gutted as everybody has spoken highly of this place, so I was excited to finally try it. Naan bread was tiny, chips weren’t cooked through and the meat wasn’t pink but it was weirdly black. Me and my partner felt sick. Sorry but I had to.

Last minute Saturday evening booking, the staff were very accommodating in fitting us in as it was quite busy. Food was very good as usual, particularly the naans. The only minor thing is the staff were not very attentive e.g. with reordering drinks but that seems to be common in a lot of places at the moment with the current restrictions.

Ordered take away at 18:05 & told 40 mins for delivery, several phone calls made after 1hr 30mins of not receiving & line constantly engaged! No call to say running late & no take away! Safe to say I wont be ordering again.... shame as food has been nice on last 2 occasions

Last night we had a great evening with friends in burslem and it was finished off delightfully with visit to the great moguls. The food was great and it would have been marked as a five but the wait between courses was quite a while and it was not really that busy but it was worth the wait,so we will return and the price was excellent to.

Lovely food at reasonable prices. Good menu to go from and decent wine choices. Friendly staff.

We went to the great moguls this evening for our staff Christmas party It was amazing. We were looked after so well the food was amazing. Staff very attentive Lovely decor.

My partner has a temporary job after 8 months without work, so we had a treat. I had a G & T and my partner a pint of Cobra whilst we looked at the menu. 2 starters, two mains, plain Nan, chapati and lime and coriander rice were ordered. Everything was lovely. The service was excellent. We will return, maybe not in the near future but at some time.

Had two 'sizzling' meals neither was very hot and not bubbling as you might expect. Lamb was chewy. Onions were huge round outer rings. Man behind the bar was not at all friendly. Overall disappointed. You can get much better and cheaper elsewhere.

Visited The Great Moguls on Saturday night for an informal works outing - the staff were extremely attentive and they had organised a set meal for us which was excellent - great tasting food and extremely reasonably priced

This is a lovely restaurant excellent food and lovely pleasent staff nothing too much trouble. There food is excellent to eat in the restaurant or to take home to eat ,good choice and good choice of wines beers and spirits. To finish off your meal a coffee or coffee liqueur

We have been going to Moguls for over twenty years and have never been disappointed.Just the two of us this time and we were earlier than usual, still busy enough for a Saturday. We were seated as soon as we got there, waiters are always friendly and welcoming. Drinks are well stocked and varied so there is something for everyone.I don't have a favourite meal, I like all of them and like to try something new and different each visit. I had sea bass bhuna, this was so good, even though bhuna is spicy you could still taste the sea bass, definitely will have to have this again.Prices are average for an Indian restaurant, mine meal was £10.95, rice was included in the meal. Under £40, so a great night.

Been going to this place for years. It's recently been refurbished and looks lovely. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The service from the staff is always to a high standard. The range and quality of food is brilliant. The portion sizes are generous. Me and my friend always share a rice and chips. The prices are really fair that's why we continue to return year after year. It doesn't have a car park which is a shame but there is literally a car park across the road which is pay and display but after 6pm is only a pound.highly recommend this place!

Quiet for a snowy wintery January Wednesday with just the 3 tables occupied during our stay but the food was superb. Great service, amazing food and a really pleasant atmosphere made for a really lovely evening. Thank You.

In the very center of Burslem opposite the old Town Hall you will find one of the nicest curry houses. I didn't need to book in advance and was sat at a table for two immediately. its a first for me and you all know I like a hot curry so scrolling through the menu I come across yet again another Bangladesh Naj Naga (chicken) so I thought I'd give it a try. So I started off with spicy poppadoms that were lovely and not burned on the edges accompanied with a lovely mint yogurt and mango tray washed down with a cold bottle of Bangla lager that didn't last long and was lush After that had onion bahji and chicken that where cooked and flavoured beautifully nice and crispy.on to the mains so my partner had a chicken korma that was beautiful and the Naga was absolutely bang on mopping it all up with rice peshwari naan and some chunky little homemade chips. Highly recommended

A very clean restaurant and well laid out. The restaurant was empty on our midweek visit, but it had not long opened up. Staff were pleasant and efficient and the meal tasted fresh and well spiced. Will consider a return visit.

3 of us dropped in, late-ish, on a Saturday evening. The positive stuff is that clearly the place has had a great deal of investment and it looks really good. Waiting on staff are very attentive and polite, speed of service was very good and overall the ambiance was excellent. Even the loo's were spic and span! The OK stuff is that 2 of us had really tasty dishes and my wifes was bland which is unusual for a dopiaza. My chicken tikka jalfrezi with extra spinach (try one they're amazing) was about as good as I've had. Rich and tasty with a really good chilli hit. This is basically the only dish I ever order as each restaurant does them differently enough that I don't get bored with them. Less good was the portion sizes, a little on the meager side, especially the naan breads. Also my chicken was either very cheap or hadn't rested correctly as it was kind of crunchy. Not sure what causes this and it's not the first time I've experienced it. The biggest downer, and I'm not sure how the GM should handle this is the crossover between couples and families and the big table of drunken blokes that pitched up just before we left. The atmosphere changed instantly and not for the better. This place is too nice to have the kind of boorish behaviour and shouted foul language that we experienced and I hope that the management have the confidence in their offering to turn away that kind of business. I know turning away business is always a dilemma but I'm sure it will pay off in the long run. In the meantime, if you're dining on a Saturday try and be done by around 10/10.30

Second time we have visited. First visit as a party of 9 couple of months ago. Food was delicious when it came service however very poor. They forgot our main courses! Decided to give it another try last night for my son's birthday meal, party of 11. Once again food delicious service poor. Seated 20 minutes and then we had to ask if we could order drinks then we had to ask for menus!

Avoid like the plague.food was awful and couldnt even bring myself to eat the food.Won't be going back their again.

Love this restaurant hve been going for about 20 yrs or so. It has recently had a very smart makeover and looks great - love the peacocks! Food is consistently great.

Went for an early family meal, around 6pm. Never been in before but thought would give it a try as the recent refurbishment has given it massive kerb appeal.

We were on way home from teatime drink planning to pick up takeaway. Passed the great Mogul a restaurant we haven't been to in years. It has just been refurbished so we thought why not.

We've been going here for several years and we've always had great food and service, we went on Saturday 28th April 2018 and it was shocking we had to wait 2 Hours for our food to come, we asked twice how long it was going to be and all we got was I will go and find out, and hey guess what they never came back and let us know, we were just about getting up to go as our food came ( which was very nice) we never got any apologies for it to have taken so long, the service was shocking. Hence we won't be returning to this establishment in the near future.

Mick & I have been going to this restaurant since 1993 almost every week on a Saturday. In our opinion its the best Indian Restaurant around. It has also been value for money. It has just had a brilliant refurbishment, which has been featured in the local evening sentinel newspaper.
