Dos veces cada año me tome un grupo de señoras mayores que tienen dificultades para moverse al Atrio Restaurante para el almuerzo. La mesa está muy bien. El catering es realizado por estudiantes supervisados por profesores. Hay catering Cada vez que vamos nos están esperando para tomar nuestros abrigos y mostrar a nuestros asientos. Los estudiantes siempre lo hacen con una sonrisa en cara. Las mujeres siempre se sentirá cómodo y relajado. La comida es insuperable. . muy bien cocinados y traído a usted caliente! . A un precio muy razonable, y las mujeres no puedo decir nada que le disguste. Así que estamos de nuevo en la reserva cerca de la navidad.

Este es un muy buen restaurante en Stoke College, donde la comida es preparada y presentada por el primer año los estudiantes. ¡Guau! ! ! Qué increíble comida. ¿Por qué no escuchamos acerca este lugar antes? Excelente comida, excelente servicio y con una sonrisa tengo que añadir. Comida casera con pasión y con orgullo, nos sorprendió mucho que estos estudiantes estaban sólo en su primer año! Recomendaremos a nuestros amigos y familia y volveré pronto. The staff and students were very efficient and caring. they were concerned that I did not have the soup and when I explained my dietary needs, which I had not warned them of in advance, they went out of their way to make sure that I could safely eat what was beautifully presented and tasty lunch. As I explained to them their level of care was exemplary and far better than some high profile catering venues I have been to where there is no care taken and where despite giving clear guidance in advance of events some organisations totally ignore medically needed dietary constraints. If only all professional restaurants were as caring I would go out to eat far more often and would know that I would come away from events well fed!

I can't recommend the Atrium Restaurant enough. The staff and students at Stoke-on-Trent College do a terrific job of making you feel welcome. And the food is always excellent.

A good venue for a business lunch - not noisy or overly busy, so makes for a good working lunch environment. Tables set out to suit our group. Food was 3 course meal with a good variety of starter, main and dessert options. Presentation was excellent, remembering that this is all being produce by college students.

My colleague and I enjoyed a superb club sandwich each, served with potato wedges, coleslaw and a side salad. We then shared the best chocolate brownie with vanilla icecream, and a fruit meringue with fresh cream. Superb food, lovely atmosphere, attentive servers, and all for less than £6. Excellent place - you should try it!

Full credit to the staff and students for another lovely meal. A late Christmas lunch with a small group of colleagues and we had a very enjoyable meal. The staff and students give a very professional service, taking our coats and showing us to our table, with attentive but unobtrusive service throughout. The menu is limited (two choices for starter and desserts, four for main course) but I was still spoilt for choice! Food was beautifully presented, tasty and good portions, certainly restaurant quality. For three course lunch with a drink and a tip we each had change from £10 and a warm glow from having supported the college and their students. Looking forward to my next visit!

We love visiting the restaurant as we are always made most welcome. If you have not been the restaurant is part of the catering college where young people are trained in cooking and serving at the table. It is not easy to book a meal at lunch time only and in this Christmas season I believe all sittings are taken. Another problem is that you will need to bear in mind college holidays where no service is available. Back to our Christmas lunch, a ham and salad terrine starter, roast turkey with all the trimmings, the sprouts were a little bitey for me. and Christmas pudding with white sauce, Coffee and mince pies.warm. was £2 extra, We could not fault the meal or service by the young attentive students and as we were able to take our own wine £67 for 4 people was excellent. that included the coffee and pies. We will look forward to trying to book another lunch in February 2017,

Good food, well cooked and nicely presented. The staff were excellent, taking our coats when we came in and generally looking after us. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Superb value.

If you are dining on a budget (or indeed if you are not short of cash but love a bargain), then the Atrium Restaurant at Stoke College is for you. One of the city's best kept secrets, the students serve up delicious food and brilliant service. We went on Curry Night and had a starter and main course - sadly, we were pressed for time (and full up) so could not sample the desserts. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was helpful and friendly from the time we arrived to our departure. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the whole experience was absolutely faultless. If you have an opportunity to go, make sure you take it as you would be hard pressed to find better value for money anywhere. Well done to the students and to Stoke College!

Having visited the restaurant again last night with friends for an Italian Night. We had yet again an excellent meal. Last week we visited the Restaurant for the Curry Night and again it was faultless. The whole experience we have had on our trips from afternoon tea to the Evening meals have been very enjoyable and look forward to our visit again once the new term starts.

The whole experience from the greeting to going home was first class.The food was outstanding and the same for the service. We must remember that these are students at Stoke College and produced the highest standard of any restaurant in the world.I would highly recommend a visit before the end of the academic year (next week is Italian).Thank you again.

The restaurant was a lovely environment and was set up perfectly for our large group of 13.The food was delivered at the same time, and was to a very high standard with compliments coming from around the whole table. Special mention to the chocolate brownie, this was sublime All the students and staff were polite, smiling and I’m sure will progress onto big things within the catering and restaurant industry.Thanks again, and I’m sure we will be booking another meal soon

Brilliant value for good quality food! Highly recommend the Hunter's Chicken and the Brownie for desert. Great food service and very attentive. Would highly recommend anyone to try it there!

I took my mum and partner for an after work tea to celebrate St Davids day, what an experience, the students were excellent, they were very professional. The food was perfect and the presentation of the food was first class. We all had the welsh platter, followed by welsh lamb with all the trimmings and to finish, mum had the bread and butter pudding and we had the raspberry compote. All in all it was superb. Great value for money.We are already booking our next trip.

Booked myself and 2 other work colleagues for an after work afternoon tea treat on 23/02/16. Wow! Set in the college training restaurant in pleasant surroundings, we were welcomed on arrival and escourted to a lovely set out table for 3 by the learners who were training. A non alcoholic drinks menu was offered to us firstly and we ordered a refreshing sparkling water and 2 lemonades. Then a choice of teas were offered to us, followed by a selection of sandwiches (variety of 12 including egg & cress, fresh salmon, ham and cottage cheese and cucumber) followed by 3 fresh baked scones, with butter, jam and clotted cream and a huge platter of cakes (3 pineapple cheese cakes, vanilla custards,Victoria sponges and chocolate eclaires) Huge amount for under £5.00 each. We all enjoyed it from start to finish, excellent value for money. Well done to all of the Atrium team - the lovely Zena who gave us all the additional information we required, Carly the restaurant manger who kept everything running smoothly and gave us an exceptional experience, Julie - the chef of all those yummy delights and of course the learners who were training. We will be back! Watch out Harrods and the Ritz hotel, the same standard, but at Stoke on Trent College.

My wife has been to this restaurant a few times previously at the college in the daytime and booked a night time meal for us, pleasantly surprised is an under statement!From entering the restaurant we were greeted in a polite and very professional manner, shown to our table which was nicely set out and offered the menu.I can only describe the food as top restaurant quality, everything freshly made by the students of the catering college, the service was also great, some of the students were a little nervous serving but did a great job, an absolute credit to the hospitality / catering departments, highly recommended.

An excellent Christmas Meal, food had plenty of flavour and the 2nd year students did very well practicing their food preparation and serving skills. Thoroughly recommended.

Have done a short course for three weeks attended the restaurant for tea after a long days work. The service was impeccable, I was treated like a queen. The presentation of the dining room was awesome the hospitality and friendship of the staff was credible. Most of all the food home cooked and divine. Today with my wife and three friends, I was rewarded with an amazing meal. Why amazing? Well: all the food was prepared by the students who were all in their first year of training. Their presentation was excellent, smart and smiling. Their service was also excellent - courteous and attentive. What about the food? Well it was really good. A typical xmas lunch cooked to perfection. Started with a very tasty leek, potato, and watercress soup. Then standard turkey dinner, followed by Xmas pudding. Everything was cooked to perfection. It was a really enjoyable experience. All credit to the students and not forgetting their tutors.

Pleasant surroundings. Excellent service from friendly staff. All food is attractively presented and well cooked. Good value for an enjoyable meal. We will eat there again!

Savoury and Sweet, chocolate in both main meal and dessert what more can a woman ask for. Two courses £7.50 and worth every penny. The spare ribs melted in your mouth and the chocolate mousse was the nicest I've ever tasted. All the front house Staff were very courteous and greeted you with a smile. Well done to all, I will definitely be coming to visit again when you reopen in October.

We had a meal last night at the Atrium Restaurant with friends and have nothing but praise from the start to finish. We were greeted and served with excellent service and the meal was first class cooked to perfection. We are looking forward to our next visit which I am sure won't be too far away.

I cannot begin to express what fantastic value for money this was! Four delicious sandwiches very nicely presented, with a salad garnish, followed by 5 cakes EACH!! Plus gallons of tea, all for just £4!!!

I have used college training restaurants in many towns and cities and have usually been impressed with both food and service. Today's experience was better than most in that, as a large party, we were greeted warmly and competently served a high quality meal. It is nice to see the student waiting staff making a real effort to please and being concerned about their customers; something we don't always experience in 'professional' restaurants.I would recommend anyone and everyone to try this experience - I am sure you will return for more.

I have eaten lunch at the restaurant in a party of about 14 people whilst attending a course at the college several times. The restaurant maintains a consistently high standard. Don't be fooled into thinking that a restaurant run by college staff and students can't measure up against the professionals - this one does. The service provided by the catering students is polite, professional and efficient and the quality of the food is excellent. Staff are friendly and on hand to unobtrusively support if needed. The restaurant decor and table settings are lovely and the presentation of the food is first class. All for a reasonable price too. Would highly recommend.

Myself and my partner had a lovely meal, been here on 3 occasions and the food has been better each week we have enjoyed every visit we have made and would definitely recommend it.

Had heard several good reviews about the restaurant so thought I would give it a try with my mum. The students working front of house were lovely,all very welcoming, pleasant and very attentive. The food was great, especially the chocolate brownie,could easily of had a 2nd portion! All of this for an amazing prize.What more could you want! Can't wait to revisit and try more of their culinary delights.

I regularly eat out and have found this little retreat to be value for money, obliging and able to tailor their menu to meet my needs - eating disorder. I can truly say that the price is right, the food excellent and the atmosphere friendly. Would recommend with no hesitation.

I recently had a meal in this restraint and was amazed at the quality of both the service and the food. It was a five star experience from the moment I entered the door. The students who were working 'front of house' were both professional and polite. I have received worse treatment in top class restaurants. The food was presented and cooked to perfection. Anyone want to have a really good meal and very low prices then visit this college restaurant

This restaurant is run by the catering students of Stoke College. The first thing to hit you is the excellent ambience when you enter. The furnishings are modern and plush. There is a bar and lounge seating for a pre-dinner drink. The easy listening music is not intrusive. We paid £15 (set price dinner) for a four course meal plus coffee. The meal started with a sharing platter, followed by a choice of two starters, a choice of two mains and a choice of three sweets. The food was every bit as good as the best restaurants in the area and the house red at £8.50 a bottle was very palatable. The staff are friendly and attentive. You do need to remember that they are in training and have a bit of patience but they appreciate a friendly face and interest in their studies. Lunch is priced by the item. You will need to book for both dinner and lunch as the number of covers is limited and the restaurant is not open every day. This restaurant really does provide excellent food at very reasonable cost. My wife has been before and we look forward to visiting again in the near future.
