Lovely staff, we did some filming here and the lady serving us coffee was really nice, would recommend as the coffee was really tasty and the food smelt great, and the cakes looked awesome 👌

Really friendly cafe, husband had a full breakfast, which he said was very tasty, I had bacon and Tom sandwich, which was crammed with bacon. Very reasonably priced. The place was clean, and tables were cleared as soon as guests were finished. Would recommend 👌 The only drawback was the parking. It was at a meter, which meant additional costs.

Friendly staff, clean tidy premises, good menu with full range of quick meals such as, cheese and onion or corned beef pie with salad and beans, jacket potatoes with a variety of fillings, oatcakes with sausage, cheese, bacon etc panini's, sanwiches and vegetarian options. The tea was hot and strong, the cheese pie was very tasty and the oatcakes, bacon, sausage and beans looked good too. Thank you.

1st time visitor. Lovely cafe, friendly & welcoming. Customers even moved seats so Hubby could sit from his wheelchair.!. A lovely gem of a cafe, will add to our cafe visits for sure!

Go to cafe in Stoke as far as we’re concerned. Good selection of simple no nonsense food, cheese and bacon oatcakes are brilliant. Very friendly staff and customers, there’s always a discussion to get involved in it seems. Dog friendly as opposed to dog tolerant, they even made something not usually on the menu for our off colour puppy. Lovely little spot.

Remains the best cafe for miles around. No nonsense food and drink and very friendly staff and customers. My favourite lunchtime spot in the area.

A great place to relax after a walk, very welcoming. It doesn't look huge from the street but there is also a larger back room with comfortable seating and many pictures of local landmarks on the walls. There is also a small outdoor seating area. I've recommended it to friends and they haven't been disappointed.

What a fantastic little find this cafe is! Full of wonderful heritage art and nic nacs plus yummy, reasonably priced food! The owner was so lovely and couldn't do enough for us.😄

First visit other day, very busy was about 1.30..,..........part 1/2 Lovely staff, maybe need more help Food was ok, had cheese oatcakes,( microwaved) will try again ❤️ Update went again today Friday 25th march 2022 lovely staff Had cornbeef pie friend had cheese onion pie I left mine it was inedible, raw pastry but hard edges🙄 Never seen pastry like it and I'm 62.... Coffee was very weak ....Was not worth the money or the wait! Waste of my disability treat out money!

Being early for an appointment we looked for somewhere to stop for a coffee. There aaren't many suitable places in the area but this cafe looked OK and had parking outside. Inside is a pleasant surprise, comfortable seating and the resulting drinks were very pleasant. A great little oasis with friendly staff.

Absolutely the nicest place I've been in a long time , the ladies were so kind too as when I got to the cafe the other day she was about to close but she still served us as we had been looking for somewhere to eat in burslem and couldnt !!!! Food is brilliant and service too . Will recommend to anyone .

Only had a take away caramel mocha but very very nice for £2. Food seemed good prices and offers for students. The Lady serving was nice.

Went into this cozy little cafe whilst visiting the burslem area, and what a surprise the staff were friendly and helpful, the menu was very well thought out and very reasonable, i had the oatcakes with bacon and cheese filling and it was great.

We visited for the first time the other week. What a lovely little cafe. Very polite and friendly lady served up. Tea was very nice and my kids loved their hot chocolates.

I have only been once....so far! The quality and price ratio is beyond fantastic! Super quality served by super friendly staff for super budget friendly prices. 10 out of 10! I am happy to recommend this place and to give 5☆☆☆☆☆+

I walked from Tunstall out to Burslem this morning, and wanted to find a nice place to sit down & have a good cup of coffee. I was lucky to spot this place. I was made to feel very welcome as soon as I walked in, and was soon enjoying a tasty (almond milk) latte. I'll go again the next time I stay in the area.

We happened to park up next to here so we popped in for a coffee. We returned later for food with was lovely. I had Bacon and cheese oatcakes my GF had tuna melt. Both we fantastic. Great food with great service, what more can you ask for.

Called in when passing through looking for oatcake shop. Loved the place, hospitality, oatcakes, coffee and local art. I have to live in the South Midlands now where people are a little stuffy so comming back to SoT is a treat and comming to a place such as this is a special treat.

The Market Place Cafe is great. The food is amazing, so are the staff. Overall it is great and I would definitely go again.

We visited for lunch on the second day of the Burslem Festival, with our daughter and baby grandson.Excellent for a light lunch - we had sandwich, toasted sandwich and a panini. All were freshly made, with fresh salad. Good tea and coffee. The cafe has a simple, clean style in the historic centre of the Mother Town of the Potteries. Great value for quality.

Visited here for a quick lunch whilst in the area. Greeted very kindly by a lovely lady who gave us menus and cleared a table for us. Menu is good covering sandwiches, oatcakes, jacket potatoes and salads. Very cheap prices (my mozzarella wrap was £2.20). Food was good but expect basic, at these prices, one can't complain. Large mug of tea for £1. Quaint and quirky decor, clean and friendly atmosphere. Everything is homemade. A nice lunch stop, would recommend based on our experience.

Pleasant atmosphere, nice and warm. Just needed a quick break from work so had a snack and drink. Staff friendly and food good. I had jacket potato with tuna and salad and my partner enjoyed Staffordshire oatcakes with cheese.

I sampled the local Staffordshire oatcake (with a cheese) and a cup of tea for less than £2. When you consider that from a window table seat you can see the site of Wedgwood's first pottery, the original Burslem Town Hall and the Queen's Theatre across the road it's a lovely little spot !

Enjoyed a jacket potato with tuna and light mayo option with lovely real barista style coffee yesterday to take away.
