Came for the pig and pitchfork menu. Food was wonderful.

The resident chef there is great! However for gin rummy itself… try getting a response when booking a table! Absolute joke… get a booking system that works !

Me and my friends came to gin rummy 2day 2 june at 4pm for the cocktail brunch the service was fantastic food was OK and cocktails but when we left at 6pm all 4 of us have been ill stomach pains. me and carla av been sick 3 times 1 friend ad to go home after ward as she felt so ill my other friend sonia ad the trots I'm not sure if it was the food r cocktails 😢 as we were sober as a judge I've never been so ill and ad to get home go bed by 9pm on a sat 😢

Pros 1. So the food was amazing. Homemade sausage rolls. Mini burgers, sandwiches, project d doughnuts and brownies. All tasted delicious. 2. 2 hours bottomless Cons 1. The cocktails were like the ones u would make at home. The staff were carrying tesco bottled lemonade up the stairs to make our 'Palma Violet' cocktail which tasted nothing like palma Violet. Also cocktails hardly had any alcohol in them! 2. Cocktails where made behind a wall on the second floor. In the the girl making them was sitting on a box or something. 3. Half way threw our bottomless brunch (after only having 1 cocktail) they wanted us to pay before we ordered our next one. Wasting more time. 4. One of the waiters didn't even know what he was serving. There was a sandwich we didn't know what it was by looking so we asked he said it was egg. So I chose to have the 'egg' one instead of cheese. It turned out to be a cheese savory sandwich. I won't be going back again.

Best freshly made pizza I have had in a long time! Everyone was super friendly, would recommend, will definitely return and try the meat platter next time, it looked and smelt amazing!!

Walked in on my own for a drink to wait for the rest of my party before going to the theatre.when they arrived we ended up eating here too, as loved the atmosphere. Three burgers and a pizza and all loved what we had. Would definately go back and recommend to friends. The only negative was the spicy chicken pizza was just too spicy...maybe that's just a taste thing though. Would have the pizza again as the base was incredible; just a different topping.

We went here as a last resort as 2 other places we tried were fully booked, which was fortunate as the pizza we had here was excellent and the burgers looked good. The 2 young people serving were really friendly and polite. Don't be put off by the appearance compared to other nearby places. Handy for the Regent Theatre as it is directly opposite.

Visited Gin rummy yesterday whilst visiting Stoke to meet friends & family. Being a regular to a bottomless brunch I would say the food on this bottomless is one of the best I've been too. You get a great selection and it leaves you feeling fed. The desserts are amazing. Will our server was fabulous his gives 110%. Mandy who owns the bar is absolutely amazing she is extremely friendly. The normal food looked and smelt amazing I will 100% return to try their main menu next time I am in the area! Scott who helps out was very funny and again had fantastic people skills.. the chef was friendly and the other servers who's names I didn't catch again were so friendly and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. So helpful putting out extra chairs and tables outside for us.. honestly top marks. Thank you so much to all of you who served us yesterday your service really is impeccable. Gin rummy might not be as 'instagramable' as some other local businesses but I would choose Gin rummy over and over again based on service and food quality these guys should be no1 choice.

We visited from Manchester and wow was it worth it! Brilliant place, great atmosphere and the owners and staff were amazing! Will, our server was so good, fun and friendly. Food was AMAZING!!! And there was plenty of it.. the best food I have ever had on a brunch and you get that much that we couldn’t finish it all.. although we did get offered a doggy bag to take it home. Highly recommend this place. We will most certainly be back.

We came for my baby shower on 12/08/23 and i am so overwhelmed with how lovely it was! We cannot thank the staff enough, all staff were so helpful and could not do enough for us, especially Kate. Food, cocktails, mock tails, desserts were all brilliant and everyone had such a lovely time. Amazing how all cocktails can be made mocktail versions as the Cherry Bakewell one was my absolute favourite cocktail and I didn’t think i’d be able to have it, but i had a mocktail one and it was perfect. We will be coming back again, everyone has been recommending it as well worth the money and such a lovely place. Thank you all again so much, having this last celebration before baby is here has been the icing on the cake for me. Kate xx

We had the goats cheese salad and veggie burger. It took a while to arrive but food was very good, fresh and tasty. Well presented. Our waiter Owen was polite and charming. We liked it so much we went back for veggie breakfast the following day. Lovely staff full of local information and recommendations.

Amazing bottomless brunch, 7 cocktails each we managed, and even got to take desserts home!! Service was unreal, ran over to us after we finished our drinks. Couldn’t have had a better time!!!

We popped in for a drink before the theatre. A few drinks offers, the gins were 2 for £10 so much cheaper than theatre prices! We enjoyed our drinks, service was fairly quick.

Had the bottomless afternoon tea here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The food was amazing and lots of it. The cocktails were really nice and we managed to fit plenty in over the two hours. Great value for money. Staff went above and beyond for my friend’s birthday with banners on the table and sparklers in cocktails etc. would definitely go again!

This is a gin and rum bar,they do have craft ales on,they do brunches at weekends for £29.95 with all you can drink cocktails for 2 hours. The staff are brilliant very young and polite. I highly recommend this bar

This place is amazing gorgeous bottomless afternoon tea, brilliant value for money best 2 hours I've spent in a good while, 2for 10 on cocktails normally which is good value as well, lovely food great atmosphere brilliant attentive staff, unfortunately ran out of prosecco but quite a lot of people came in that day without a booking so it wasn't surprising this happened but like I said it was still brilliant.

The staff were very welcoming and the food is amazing.Relaxed atmosphere which doesn't feel crowded and we didn't feel rushed.The portion sizes are good and prepared with great attention to detail.Try a breakfast with an espresso martini, just wow! We will definitely be back here again.

As we appear to be in lockdown 3.0 all restaurants are closed for dine in.As valentines fell on a Sunday this year, we decided to order a brunch box for delivery.It arrived right on time. Plenty of delicious fresh ingredients to make the perfect brunch.The coffee is exceptionally good.

Ordered on a Saturday night so granted the food took a while to come but was well worth the wait. My girlfriend and myself both had vegan options which were insane ! The fakon and vegan nuggets were definitely the highlights. All came in recyclable packaging which is class to see. Great to see a local business smashing it. Look forward to eating in when lockdown is over.

How have we never been here before?!!!Since Lockdown 1.0 ended we have been regulars at NØRTH for the weekend brunch.Between us we’ve tried the full breakfast, the meatball sub and the pancakes! They are all delicious! The food and service is consistently good! Great range of drinks to suit all tastes, ages and dietary requirements.We can not wait to return after Lockdown 2.0!

This was our first time but definitely won’t be our last. The food and drinks were delicious with a good choice. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It was a really relaxed atmosphere and they took all appropriate precautions. I ordered a drink called flu slayer which was spicy and delicious. I would highly recommend North Kitchen and Bar.

I visited North with some friends for drinks and I was really impressed with the place! The vibe is really edgy and cool and there’s lots of cocktails to choose from. It’s nice to see Hanley finally getting some great bars like this.

Wonderful independent restaurant. Nice to be able to go somewhere that has something for people with different dietary requirements and a variety of plant based milks.

This is my favourite haunt, the food is fantastic... fresh, lots of choice and so so tasty!! The cocktails are AMAZE by far the best around & the staff can’t do enough for you.It has a cool & relaxing vibe! I’ve been for brunch with my daughter where the coffee is really good coffee, lunch with with family and friends & for dinner which is the perfect place to catch up with friends over a bottle of wine & a few cocktails.I maybe be biased as it’s my favourite place in town but you really can not go wrong coming to here! If you’ve not tried it, do you don’t regret it.

Visited for our first post lockdown meal and had a great time.We were a mixture of meat eaters/veggies & vegans. Its really nice to be able to eat similar to your meat eating pals & the vegan dog was massive & tasty!!Great atmosphere, amazing cocktail selection & top notch friendly service.

First time having a meal since the lockdown - very impressed with the safety standards, everything ran very smoothly and the staff were super friendly and informative. Put us at ease. We had the vegan burger and Buddha bowl and it was delicious- everything came quickly which was a nice surprise. Think we have found our new regular.Well done to all the staff at North.

I love going to North - it’s a really chill atmosphere, and I can come to sit and read with a coffee and come to meet up and chat with friends over brunch in equal comfort. The menu is smallish, but everything is done really well, which is better IMO. The berenergy smoothie is the best! I also love that they offer such a great range of non dairy milks and vegan, vegetarian, and omnivore options - it makes it such an easy place to go when everyone has different dietary needs, and they’ve been willing to work with some difficult allergies as well. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Don't let the basic decor fool you. The food is delicious. The staff are always courteous, friendly and efficient. They catered for a party of 10 of us and the meal was superb. In fact, if it wasn't for Covid, we would have returned for another party, we will definitely be going again.

Visited yesterday and was lucky enough to sit outside in the sunshine. Check in was simple, food and drink amazing and the service was spot on. Well worth a visit - menu caters for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Great chilled vibe with a super menu and drinks. We had the most fabulous chicken burger I've ever had; all fresh ingredients and made on the premises. Sampled various drinks including the espresso martini and American beer, all great!Won't hesitate going back to try an evening there with my wife - she'll love it!

Had a great night here (private party) we had a buffet upstairs. I am gluten free so my food was laid out on a separate table and it was presented well, looked good and goodness tasted Devine! I felt like a celebrity! Thank you. I will be going again soon hopefully. Lunch looks good on the menu and I might even take my hubby if he is lucky! Thank you again

We visited 'North' for lunch, We arrived, First inmpression the outside looked great, the window display was inviting and warm. The interioir was also warm and welcoming.. all tables were taken my customers or uncleared dirty dishes.. we approached the counter and asked if we could be seated for food, we took ourselves to sit on the uncleared table, and the server finally cleared away the dishes and wiped the table. Hooray. We had to go the the bar to ordered as no one came to serve us, with no note on the menu that you have to order at the bar. We ordered drinks, and food. The service was very disappointing and super slow. Our drinks arrived after our food, we only ordered a water and a juice.. Its a real shame the service was so poor as the food was delicous!! We wouldnt revisit due to the poor service letting down the resturant. We may try the trentham one next to compare and pray the service is better! Be prepared for a wait.

I love the attention to detail. Steve and Gemma have always put 100% in with the food, drinks and customer service. The atmosphere is perfect also. There is no place like it in staffordshire, where health and taste go hand in hand, offering options to suit everyone. I love it here...oh and the coffee is spot on too!!

Hello,We visited Be More Rawr, which has now changed its name to North and were disappointed. Service was slow even though only two other tables. Wedges were undercooked and burgers quite dry. It was freezing so we had to keep our coats and scarves on. We haven’t been back. After a complaint the owner takes an unusual approach of almost questioning and doubting the grounds for the complaint and then oddly goes into detail about checking CCTV which seems very unusual and a bit creepy. Take the complaint on the chin and improve things.L

Nice quality,multiple tastes and normal prices. We visited the Hanley store and it was very cozy and the stuff was very kind and helpful. one of our favorite restaurants. Highly recommend

We visited RAWR today and I always thought it was targetted at the 'superfood smoothie' kind of people... oh how wrong I was.We were introduced to a heavy but enticing menu, offering all sorts of delicious breakfast/brunch food. I was truly spoilt for choice.The dishes have some nice, familiar favourites but for the more adventurous there are some worldly dishes to try...from 'Eggs California' to 'Shakshuka eggs'I decided to go for the Eggs California with a side of smoked salmon. The salmon was amazing and eggs cooked beautifully. The hollandaise sauce wasn't too zingy - which is what I like and had a lovely butteriness to it all. Most dishes are served on the evermore popular sourdough bread. I like it for some dishes, but sometimes it's nice to have a choice of a muffin or 2.RAWR was getting fairly busy after we arrived and it was nice to see a place in Picadilly that is welcoming more and more people through its doors. Plenty of staff and great choices of food for both in the day and evening. I also spied a good cocktail menu behind the bar.Their menu and offerings will definitely encourage everyone - including us to return back to RAWR... for more (sorry, couldn't resist).

Amazing food, we didn’t fancy anything from the special Halloween menu but that was no problem, we were told we could order from the regular menu and it was delicious. Well worth a visit, will definitely be back for more.

This is the second time we have eaten at RAWR. It just keeps getting better! We can't wait to be in town and go again. Fantastic food and drinks - the menu is so exciting I get spoilt for choice.

I ordered the "chicken tacos with Pesto + Mozzarella" (£10) and my partner the "avo toast" (£5.5) with extra poach egg (£1) and crispy streaky bacon (£2). Long story short - my plate had three mini tortillas with a bit of lettuce and a very small piece of chicken on top of each one... no bigger than a chicken finger! The flavour was not great either. We could barely taste the avocado on the toast and after £2 for the bacon, we were expecting more than one tiny piece! Really disappointing after all the amazing reviews and photos. The restaurant looks good/funky and the service was very nice/friendly, but very slow with only a few customers there. Drinks are good too.

Very nice had food with something a bit different on offer. Plenty of veg/vegan choices as well as meat. We had the Mexican eggs. Very nice. We visited at lunch time. We will definitely go back perhaps in the evening.

Had the most amazing food at rawr both times I’ve been. Perfect for vegans and the staffs are so lovely and helpful. Can’t wait to go back.

Happened upon RAWR after my initial choice for brunch asked me 'What do you want?' in a less than helpful tone (a table and some food...yes it was you the quartercafe!).

I had a chicken and halloumi flat bread after on of my mates recommended it and it was one of the nicest meals I’ve ever had. No complaints at all will 100% be going back

Piccadilly appears to be Hanley’s eating hub. Despite some venues closing as leases fall to be renewed, others are vying to move in such as Bella Napoli to the site of the former Picadilly Bistro. It has cafes galore but RAWR has the most attitude (it wouldn’t be out of place in hipsterish Hoxton) and trendiest interior with tall yellow stools mauve tables and an extensive bar. However I came for the espresso denied me in the Cassius Clay Pizzeris opposite. Couldn’t resist a slice of carrot cake. Looked a good venue for a light lunch with tacos, burgers, green smoothies and much more.

Went in for a coffee and some lunch on a chill Saturday morning. Great food and welcoming staff. Surroundings are excellent - Hanley/Stoke needs more places like this! Recommend it to all of my friends.

Very good place to eat even if you’re in a rush or are just going out with family or friends for something to eat. Rawr has everything you would ever want and everything that you eat is fresh and lovely.Rawr is the best place in Staffordshire and has a 5/5 hygiene rating so anyone even kids will love it as they have a kids menu which has homemade pizzas which fill you up in an instant. They have really nice employees which greet you and make you feel welcome and comfortable.I would recommend Rawr to anyone because EVERYONE WILL LOVE IT!

My wife and I had dinner here on a Friday evening. She had a chicken and bacon salad and I had pasta with chorizo, peppers and bacon. Both were excellent and great value for money. We also had a bottle of Pino Grigio which was good and resonably priced. The staff were friendly, engaging and efficient and were very welcoming. The restaurant is comfortable and well laid out with booths and some table outside. We both highly recommend it.

Wide selection of very yummy food, with great veggie / vegan options. Also huge selection of drinks including smoothies, shakes, ice coffee and alcohol. Staff were lovely and accommodating, can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Stoke!

My husband and I were in Stoke for the weekend and visited Rawr for brunch. All food (veggie) and coffee was excellent, as was the cake after. Prices reasonable and friendly service. Would highly recommend.

Wow! First visit to RAWR, which friends have been recommending for ages. Trendy, but still friendly and welcoming. We could have eaten everything on the menu, but both chose Turkish kebab on flatbread. They were delicious, really filling and great value for money (the prices had originally looked a little steep) - no need for sides here!

Went to Rawr on Friday 31st May before going to theatre. Had the best meal I have had in Hanley the food is very healthy, fresh and tasty, nicely presented with wonderful flavours. The service was good with nice friendly staff. Selection of beers, spirits, wines and cocktails. Very basic and quirky interior but very suitable. Can't wait to go back. Penny.

The best place to visit for a healthy lunch it’s so tasty it doesn’t feel like you’re eating healthy. One of our favourite places to go. Would highly recommend sweet potato tacos and to drink “wow without the cow”. Always playing great music.

We went here just for drinks for the first time and were really impressed with the place. Really chilled atmosphere, good choice of drinks, ideal for a chilled night! We didn’t eat but the food we saw looked delicious and will definitely be back to try the food next time!

Lovely eatery to order heathy, whole food at a reasonable price. Smoothies are very good. My son has used rawr before as a delivery service.Three ate with drinks for £50. I had the buddah salad, the chicken burger and wedges were delicious as was the chicken skewers and bread with oils. No complaints with the service. Would return again next visit to Hanley.

I've been several times and tend to take visiting family and friends here as the food and drinks are of high quality. I've yet to order something I do not like. The staff are always friendly and know the menu. It's a clean place, good amount of seating and good vibes.

Had the full Monty breakfast which was extremely good, loved the halloumi, finished every bit of the breakfast, which is very unusual for me....
