The best thing I can say about this place after living in the town for 3 years is it's only round the corner from bar 41. Lovely staff, very accommodating and obviously I'm talking about bar 41. This place will be shut in 6 months and I wouldn't let the landlords walk my dog.

Very welcoming and great hospitality, kind people all around, and lovely management. Would definitely recommend for people to come if you want something cosy and warm.

Top notch pub couldn't choose anywhere better to go. The staff make your feel so welcomed and the atmosphere is just what you want from your local. honestly perfect place for a pint and to make new friends

Brilliant day watching the Euros. Friendly helpful staff and a fantastic atmosphere, can’t wait to return on Saturday to see if England progress further. Well done travs crew for keeping us watered and fed during a busy day. See you all soon x

Brilliant kids easter party and bank hoilday sunday ...we really injoyed it and the kids did to brilliant hosts and landlords and bar staff make u feel welcome well done to u all and it was all free x

We came here for the Childrens Easter party. Elaine and team were fantastic and really made the party special with party games, Easter egg hunts and a special visit from the Easter bunny! All the children were provided with a packed lunch and a large Easter egg. We left with 2 very happy children. Thanks again to Elaine and team

We went to the travs for the kids Easter party - what a day, the Easter bunny came, all the kids got an Easter egg there was an Easter egg hunt , party games and even a munch box for all the kids - great prizes and overall an absolutely fab day which was free

This local family,dog friendly pub is a great place. Paul and Elaine and all the bar staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We went in as a family on Mothers day and recieved a rose and card each. Played bingo and won £55 plus free buffet! I have done many wakes and party food in there function room which is always decorated appropriately for the occasion. Cleanliness is also second to none 😊

Absolutely great, the landlord is extremely nice and welcomes you in straight away, everyone treats you as if youve known eachother for years on end, great music as well as you can choose your own by paying for the jukebox for a small price, great environment for younger kids and for dogs, overall just amazing 😊

We came to the travellers rest for the new year celebrations 2023 The atmosphere was fab, staff were on the ball even though it was extremely busy - the band in the function room were great and the party music in the bar was brill. A fantastic buffet available for all and the countdown to the new year was fantastic - we'll definitely try to make it for next year ( travelled from Belfast) massive thank you for the warm welcome Paul and Elaine

We came here for the kids Christmas party. Elaine and the team went above and beyond with the entertainment, with a roof top visit from santa with a snow machine, party games, mini disco and buffet.

We attended a family event with a santa meet and greet and a snow machine that the kiddies loved. Games with prizes and buffet snacks. Elaine and Paul were very welcoming and made sure everyone had a lovely time our Grandsons are two and under but all ages catered for. Very friendly place to visit.

The Travellers Rest is a fantastic pub ran by Elaine and Paul who are a fab couple. The atmosphere is what you expect from a local pub.. Friendly and fun So if you're passing and fancy a pint,a sing song or a laugh or 2 I would highly recommend

Moved locally a while back and am delighted to say this is now our local. The effort that Hayley and her team go to to make everyone welcome and have a great time is 2nd to none. My partner goes in occasionally after work for a few pints and takes advantage of the great offers - I go more on a weekend - Saturday night is always great craic and a Sunday sesh isn't to be missed- best pub in stoke on trent 👍

Great pub with a friendly welcoming atmosphere! Nothing is too much trouble for the landlady and the staff. Large selection of drinks on offer. Had a few games of pool with the friendly locals and had a fab afternoon. Will definitely be going again really soon Would highly recommend!
