I’ve been to Catchems Corner for the last couple of quiz nights. It’s a great atmosphere and the quiz is very well run and the host is great fun. The pub provided pizza on quiz night last week and everyone enjoyed it. Bar staff are always pleasant and the pub is very clean and tidy. New darts board is great and they have a pool table too. Looking forward to this weeks quiz👍🏼

Amazing little pub since Rachel and matt have taken over its the best thing that could have happened to it it's now got life in it brilliant artists on and a superb karaoke night on Fridays with the amazing dj Dale haven't got a bad word to say about it

The new owners have taken this pub to the next level, with Karaoke on Fridays with a hilarious DJ and people who are living their best lives singing their hearts out , live bands on selected Saturdays, pool team on Thursdays, live football, and whispers of a weekly quiz night coming up. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and the landlord and landlady are working their socks off to give the pub a new lease of life would definitely recommend a little visit.

My first visit to Catchems Corner as I know the new owner on Saturday night, what a great night! Great atmosphere, everyone was really welcoming, live band were awesome. Fantastic night, will be visiting again soon! (Once I've recovered 🙈)

Unwelcoming, staff were rude which was a real shame as the band were great. Won’t be going again.

Dog friendly, decent pint of beer only 4* as parking is on the street and hence at a premium.

Cheap quality drinks. £3 for a lovely carlsberg. Started to serve nice wine from a bottle too instead of single serve wines. The two lads are doing a great job

Under new management, the new landlord Mat is very friendly and my favourite beer, Pedigree is back on beautiful it is too, will definitely be visiting more often 👍👍

I visited the pub recently with friends , I was reluctant as my previous visit last year i found it down and out. I can honestly say the difference in the atmosphere was unreal! The staff are welcoming and chatty! Alot of banter. I spoke with the new manager who has recently took over he spoke of his plans and what he wants to make of the pub, a fresh face and abit of entertainment will do a world of good! See you guys again soon

Called in the pub this afternoon & learnt it was under new management. The atmosphere of the place seems so much better. I think the two guys that have taken over ate going do well. We met Matt today and what a genuine welcome he gave. Great service (table service, i reached the bottom of my glass and he came to my table to ask if i wanted a top up!) Looking forward to more visits! 😊

We spent a night in this pub on September 26 th we traveled from Manchester spending few days away for our anniversary must say very friendly Lanlady Sharon along with her husband and the locals were fantastic friendly people we had karaoke 🎤 on and it made our anniversary night fantastic will definitely be returning in the future xxx

Love this place, always full of nice people, bih improvement from a few months ago. Stsff very welcoming.

After a local county bowls match we had a lovely buffet for 40, where the landlady Sharon and all her staff could not look after us any better. The service was second to none and karaoke made the evening. No one wanted to leave!! Thank you Sharon,we will be back for sure. Thoroughly recommend the pub, the service and the atmosphere.

Cracking little boozer, great atmosphere new landlady has made a big difference, karaoke most Saturdays, pool table, live music, she's even gave it a new fresh look which is bringing in new customers. Great pub 🍻🍻

Under new tenancy. New interior colour scheme. Good range of social events throughout the week. Live music/karaoke most weekends. Reasonable prices and decent selection of spirits and bottled beers. Draught is the standard Marsden offering.

Thought I'd try it out as I heard it had changed hands I haven't been in for such a long time Just called fort one but ended up staying for nearly 3 hours Great atmosphere bar staff recalled enjoyed myself Will definitely go again 😃

I have been to this pub on many occassions, and it hss always been an ok pub, however i visited 2 weeks ago to see that it had new management, all that i can say is that it has come to life, and will go from strengh to strengh, lovely manager, and happy barstaff. Well kept beers and very clean. This has now become my new local, good atmosphere, al ages. Will be going in again very soon.
