The best restaurants in Brewood and Coven South Staffordshire West Midlands

Our New Year's Eve dinner was a major disappointment. Service was incredibly slow from the start. We waited ages for our initial drinks and then again for refills, which arrived after we'd nearly finished our starters. Our mains arrived with the drinks, but the sides were forgotten. To avoid further delays, we requested the bill as soon as we finished eating. Even then, they tried to charge us for the missing sides. The server was indifferent to our experience and pretty miserable!!! The overall service was unacceptable. We've enjoyed this restaurant in the past, but the recent change in staff has significantly impacted the quality.

Arranged to meet a friend here as wanted to help local cafe. Nice to see it full but was full of cyclists who seemed to take over and dominate the cafe. We sat in the conservatory which was lovely until the cyclists kept coming in and out of the door selfishly leaving it open. Food was good, bacon and avocado on toast, eggs benedict plus 2 hot drinks. This came to £25, bit steep for breakfast, don't think I will use again.

Shocking. 20 minutes late again, no apology or anything and it was over an hour last week. Not ordering from them any more they obviously offer something they cannot provide.

I knew this place was cheap and cheerful and it was - food was good and as expected - loads of space for family and chatting BUT the play area is totally awful- there can be no explanation for the volumes and volumes of dog poo. Literally in the play area itself and just everywhere you look in the grass. I was shocked and just not acceptable - I am dog owner but clearly one of the responsible ones: shut the play area off if you cannot keep it clean. I really cannot emphasise enough how much it should be shut.

We had a late Sunday dinner. I'm the main good but some elements burnt, or just too long in the hot plate.

Good selection of beers, friendly staff and now some incredible Indian food! Just had the mixed grill and it was without doubt the best Indian mixed grill we've ever had. Lovely atmosphere on a Friday night.

Hermoso almuerzo dominical. Vinimos en el apagado - oportunidad después de un poco de compras de bricolaje. Tenía la carne asada. Fue genial, caliente y delicioso. Gravy era casero también. No podía fallar.

La decoración es muy agradable. Muy limpio y acogedor. La comida era deliciosa, especialmente el vientre de cerdo. El personal era encantador. Sin duda recomendaría.

A belated birthday celebration for myself and my husband accompanied by our son and daughter who loved the decor. My husband and I were given a birthday prosecco which was very much appreciated and enjoyed. The food was all well presented and well cooked. We all enjoyed our meals but the highlight was the attentive and friendly staff, all with smiles on their faces

Having used the cafe next door and not being impressed, I decided to get my breakfast sandwich to takeaway before leaving for my journey home-so glad I did, what a breakfast it was!!! Being a pig I ordered the sandwich king special - what a sandwich! I could taste the difference in quality and was dead impressed. Took a homemade sausage roll back with me too, not that I could eat it until the evening but it gives Greggs a run for their money for sure. Back in the area in Nov so will be stopping off again to maybe try one of their lunch time specials.
