I buy lunch from Plantkind quite often. I’m not vegan but it doesn’t matter, I’ve never tasted food so fresh and to call it salad doesn’t do it justice, the flavours in their falafel box are off the scale
Ginlicious! This is a great place to try local Shrewsbury gin with free tastings in addition to an extensive gin list from other distilleries both UK and international. You can choose the tonic and the garnish or simply go with their suggested combinations. We did the tasting with plain tonic and then choose a couple of gins prepared with their suggested tonic and garnish. We paired it with a tasting board for a great lunch option. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommended.
It's a great place to get ice-cream on a hot day. It's better than coffee evolution at around the same price . I really like the crumble and straciatella ice cream flavours.
I’ve been to Moorish at least 5 times now with family, every single time the food has been top notch. Incredible consistency and you will not be disappointed with any dish. Staff are super friendly with great service, one chef even told us some tips and suggested their spices and rubs which were beautiful.
10/10 highly recommend!
There are many independent coffee places now in Shrewsbury so it hard to choose. I chose this one simply from the word Cakery in their name. I had a double espresso and treated my self to a dlicious looking sausage roll. The coffee passed all my tests. It was tasty, the right amount was served and they supplied a coffee spoon, not a teaspoon. The sausage roll was tasty too but I am not sure if it was made on the premises or bought in. The only thing I would criticise is the basic furniture but they have made the best of what limited space there is. It is off the beaten track a bit but I would recommend it heartily and I'll make a return visit the next time I'm in the town.
Dropped in for coffee and cake with my mum and my puppy.
Straight away we were made welcome and my pup was especially made welcome with a bowl of water and a small bag of dog biscuits.
Great atmosphere, wonderful staff and the coffee and cakes were lovely.
If you bag the window seat there’s no better place to people watch.. will be the first of many visits.

Fantastic pop-up venue. Jo has created a great space, well thought out to suit a verity if events. The building and surrounding area has its own uniqueness and rich history. I’m lead to believe it used to be an ale house (way back in medi times) when people could attend the fish markets outside and head for a beer before crawling down grope lane for a bit of action 😉😉. It’s also said to have had a dancing bear chained outside the front. Pure entertainment! Shrewsbury is a place oozing with historic value and this space holds that dear to its heart.
Went yest easy and had a latte , it was really nice , didn't have anything else so can't comment on other things. The young man was nice, friendly and well mannered
