Not sure I can fully describe Nooch - you may just have to try it yourself. It’s just incredible. They make such creative, filling, stunning dishes. It’s not a place that sells dry falafel or a salad. They serve proper dishes that are better for you and the environment. For anyone that doesn’t eat here because you won’t find meat in the dishes, that’s truly a shame. Nooch’s food is incredible and 100% worthy of being tried - even if you’re not vegan. Being vegan myself, finding this place was truly amazing as I hadn’t had vegan take out this good. Everything on the menu is just as good as the next thing. The staff on site are friendly and kind, and the vibes are just so homey. I highly recommend anything on the menu. They’re one of the bests!

Stumbled upon this little gem whilst sheltering from a downpour. We ducked into the alleyway for cover and saw the chalkboard. We had our dog with us and it stated that dogs were welcome so we went inside to check it out. Immediately the staff made a great fuss of our dog and welcomed us in. The menu was just too difficult to chose from because there were so many options. One of our party was coeliac and had the choice of almost everything on offer. When the food arrived, I had pad Thai and my wife had tempura broccoli with a side of fried rice, both dishes were delicious. I can highly recommend this place for the food and the very friendly staff. Next time I'm in Shrewsbury it'll be top of my list of places to visit.

The best ice cream I have tasted in UK. Took me 25 and odd years to taste something the real Italian gelato (if not even better). Unfortunately limited choice of flavours for my likening but what we tasted was all amazing. Brits please don't stick to vanilla, chocolate and raspberry. Push your boats. The orange and saffron was delicious. Home made cones is an extra bonus too. Well done. Or should I say: Bravi, mamma mia!

I’ve been to Moorish at least 5 times now with family, every single time the food has been top notch. Incredible consistency and you will not be disappointed with any dish. Staff are super friendly with great service, one chef even told us some tips and suggested their spices and rubs which were beautiful. 10/10 highly recommend!

Me and my partner both had the breakfast panini and it tasted brilliant, also the staff are lovely! Great little spot in Shrewsbury town.

There are many independent coffee places now in Shrewsbury so it hard to choose. I chose this one simply from the word Cakery in their name. I had a double espresso and treated my self to a dlicious looking sausage roll. The coffee passed all my tests. It was tasty, the right amount was served and they supplied a coffee spoon, not a teaspoon. The sausage roll was tasty too but I am not sure if it was made on the premises or bought in. The only thing I would criticise is the basic furniture but they have made the best of what limited space there is. It is off the beaten track a bit but I would recommend it heartily and I'll make a return visit the next time I'm in the town.

I was treated to a birthday lunch here by my son at my request as I had sampled the food before and was eager to return. Three of us had the so fearful smoked salmon tagliatelle with its tangy chilli and lemon dressing while my son was mightily impressed by the steak ciabatta and the red onion/red cabbage slaw that accompanied it. The other great thing about eating here, apart from the friendly service, are the lovely little touches like real napkins and decent quality cutlery as well as fresh flowers on the table - something many restaurants don't even bother with, let alone market eateries! Looking forward to visiting again soon.
