A delightful meal after a session with the guys at Brandon marsh, ate with my son, nephew and sister. Nothing was too much trouble. Attentive staff, fair prices for the lovely food on offer. Sausages particularly to die for. Plentiful portions for children especially. Will definitely be back for sure. Gorgeous view of the birds whilst dining added to the wonderful lunch. Thank you!

This has to be the best value for money pub I've been to in a long time. Bar staff were super friendly, food was great and there was plenty of choice on the adult and kids menus. Lovely village location and an outdoor playarea for the warmer weather. We will be back and I'd happily recommend.

Heard great things about this Village pub in Wolston, now under new management. We received a warm welcome by the new landlord as we arrived. The attentive staff took our drinks order straight away and showed us to our table. The pub has a lovely relaxed feel and is clean and fresh with some lovely touches in the seating, layout and decor. We had a couple of starters to share and then the Sunday lunch and were super impressed with the quality and generosity of the roast. Crispy onions on the mash, stilton running through the cauliflower cheese, red cabbage, pigs in blankets and succulent roast beef made this one of the best we've had. Can't wait to return to try the mid week sharing platters and burgers. The Half Moon celebrates the best of British pubs with great food and outstanding service....great job everyone!

Somos asiduos al Proyecto, sin embargo, algo se nos pasó hoy por alto ( 27 / 10 / 2024 ). Nuestra tostada se quemó, los cafés tardaron en llegar. Esto es tan fuera de lugar para el Proyecto Cafeína, normalmente el personal joven es increíble.

First time at pub, differently won't be the last. Food excellent, staff helpful and very pleasant. We would always book, haven't seen a pub this busy before at dinner time.

Been on the hunt for decent chips for ages. Most seem rubbery and a bit weird tasting if they have been sitting for a bit. We heard good things being said about this place and gave it a try. Chips cooked to order, piping hot and tasty. Fish looked good so will be having some next time. Really happy we found you and worth the drive from Dunchurch. Thank-you for making the effort to serve great food.

Tasty curry but v noisy, could hardly hear one another. Slow to clear and didn't offer dessert. Not sure of hygiene, dirty plate and cutlery given, hmmm.

The ambience, attentiveness of the staff and the delicious food today resulted in a lovely experience and we’ll all be back soon. Thank you!

I cannot give this restaurant a high enough review or rave about them enough! Friendly, attentive, amazing food at fantastic prices, lovely interior/ decor, really modern yet tasteful & welcoming & warm in temperature on a very cold day, & perfect ambiance & music was just the right level so you could chat with ease but listen to easy yet love music (I must find out where they got compilation) what a gem of a find 5* plus plus plus - will def be returning many times as they not only cater for Indian curry lover but also English cuisine & Sunday Roasts too, well done guys we had an amazing evening

Had an amazing meal last night: Surf and Turf rump steak, and cheese and bacon burger. Both meals were delicious and the service was excellent. A lovely atmosphere and great service from Izzy. Thank you so much. We will be back soon. (Sorry, no photos - we devoured the evidence!)

Where do I start? Ordered Sweet and sour chicken balls x10 2 x salt and pepper chips 1 x large chicken chow mean 2 x chicken curry with chips Pros Sweet and sour chicken balls were nice and fluffy, the Sweet and sour sauce was like red watery urine with zero flavour. Chicken chow mein was very salty, not much flavour and a definite lack of chicken. Salt and pepper chips........was exactly what it said, salt and pepper on some dry chips. Not nice. Now we come to the main event........chicken curry. The chicken........obviously not fresh chicken. Frozen diced cheap chicken that had the consistency of spam when you ate it (no chewing needed at all) Curry sauce was watery and very little taste, no spice.

Absolutely despicable the way the so called manager ( new one .. again) treats my son who has worked at TGI for over a year . He wasn’t given shifts( because apparently it was quiet) so he decided to find a job which he works with me a few hours a week in the evening. The management has now decided to put him on both Saturday and Sunday , Sunday being a double shift. They did not even approach him regarding this and are now basically saying tough , you either leave the other job or TGIs.. Yes , this is the attitude of new management! Also favouring another employee over my son because she’s got children and she can’t work the hours my son is expected to because of this!! Just wow.. So indirectly discriminating against my son because he’s male and has no children. I’ve seen it all over the year with the way they favour certain staff over others . One particular waitress was travelling right across the city only to be told the shifts cancelled and she will not get paid for it. TGI are breaking all kinds of employment laws , even the fact they know that my son has SEN which was shown to them when he first started , they have never taken this into consideration. Just one big click there and woe betide if you don’t fit the mould . I am seeking employment rights advice because someone has to stick up for the vulnerable.
