My first and last lunch today at the Roseycombe. It was excellent. Just sorry won't have opportunity to visit again

I can only strongly recommend the Roseycombe which I have enjoyed for many many years. The food is home cooked and the staff are great. The prices are more than reasonable and Alma is a wonderful host. Ten out of ten.

I was always happy to attend this old established venue and it has been quite a number of years since I did. On this occasion it felt like coming home. The welcome was extremely good and the service and food second to none. I don't think I will leave it quite so long before I visit again. I would definitely recommend it.

Lovely little place and the food is wholesome , hot, and delicious 😋. It is best to book and pre-order where possible as they use local butchers and could run out, you wouldn't be disappointed. Spot on most of the time 😀

Went here for an evening meal, we hadn't booked but they still fitted us in. The food was really lovely and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The price was really good. Highly recommend 😊 the peppered chicken and lasagne were very tasty 😋

Food was dry and not very nice. The desert was better then the main, staff was lovely and helpful Soon as we walked in we felt like we didn't belong

Friendly, helpful staff where we had a traditional Sunday lunch. Well prepared and tasty, though the beef was a little chewy. Not too pricey for the overall quality.

Popped in first time. Prices are up but this is explained on a slip on the menu. (Same everywhere these days). Was very busy so was a bit of a wait, but food was good quality and served hot. Staff friendly. Was a garden /grass area out the back for kids to stretch legs which was a bonus. Tried the local procured cider which is served here and it was enjoyed. If in area again would like to come again.

Quick meal before a rugby match. Service was very friendly and efficient. Nice pint of Bass. Food was good and reasonably priced. Not amazing but decent pub grub. Would come again if I was in the area.

Nice pub with the tasty food. Reasonable prices. Pub is clean , staff are friendly. Nice view from the restaurant's conservatory - you can see the garden (with the places to sit) as well the countryside landscape.

It's never open despite publishing opening times.

Great food and service and value for money even when a large group

Have been for a meal here tonight, and was so impressed. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive, and the food was proper home cooked style, and absolutely delicious. Good value and nice atmosphere. I will definitely be returning.

Have dined at the Roseycoombe many times. It is my first choice for eating out. Alma and staff are delightful, always ready to oblige. Will be there again soon. Tha k you Alma.

Went for lunch with our friends who live locally. The beer,service and food (steak and ale pie) were first class. Spotlessly clean tiolets.

Went on consecutive nights, each time a warm welcome and a superb meal, the whitebait starter HUGE! I occasionally travel some distance to work in Coventry and I shall make this pub a definite each time.

Attended a birthday party. Staff were lovely and friendly. A fabulous buffet provided by the pub, with a great variety of foods. Had a very enjoyable evening.

Found the food and service excellent, could not fault cleanliness

Ashamed to admit that The Roseycombe wasn't our first choice but they definitely will be next time. We were let down by another pub for a party for 30 people 3 hours before we had guests arriving. We frantically rang to see if The Roseycombe could accommodate a substantial group and such late notice and they agreed. Wow.....the staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was beautiful and we had a fantastic evening. We honestly can not thank them enough

Great place. Staff are so friendly, food is very tasty, menu is varied and our party of 7 had no complaints at all.

We had our team Christmas lunch (group of 15) at the Roseycombe today and the team here couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating. Everyone really enjoyed the food and the portions size were great. Thank you again!

Fantastic food... Pies are amaziing

Run down decor & the pint of john smiths served 2 me was only just drinkable.this used 2 b such a nice pub 2 visit.

First visit to the Rosey for many years and wasn't disappointed. Came with my sister and 4 cousins for lunch. Nice varied menu to please everyone plus daily specials. We all had something different and all enjoyed both main and pudding. Staff were extremely obliging and friendly and also allowed us to enjoy our meal without continuous interruptions. We will certainly add the Rosey to our favourite list. Well done everyone.

After reading other reviews we visited here as we wanted to try somewhere different. Food was lovely and the staff were very welcoming.

Absolutely amazing! We went here because of the good reviews and wow were they right. Good quality food, amazing prices that you just don’t see anymore! Lovely staff running the place and making the fresh food. I will come back up here and eat here again!

Good honest pub food, amazing taste and plenty of it

Popped for a drink and was so disappointed and not for the first time ! staff very rude and overcharged for drinks , soft drinks were flat .. will not be returning . Sad to think things may change since last awful visit

We pop into our local pub after ballroom dancing on a Thursday. Very pleasant to sit and chat with friends in a cosy place.

Friendly local pub with a good home cooked food menu. No fast food - all orders are cooked as you place them so there could be a bit of a delay but well worth waiting for

Wonderful traditional pub just outside Coventry. Unpretentious food, generous portions and excellent service. Prices are very reasonable too. Has a beer garden ... but it's too cold to sit out there just yet!

Good pub. Good food. Good beer garden. Good feeling about the place. Good for watching sport, without being remotely like a sports pub.

Asked for a large white wine, I got charged for a large white wine but it was never a large white wine. The glass the wine was poured in was awful so old... it looked dirty it was that old. just didn't enjoy my time in there.

Lovely pub, clean, bright and roomy. The staff were friendly. Sadly they don't serve food on Mondays. However, the barmaid brought over a platter of sandwiches from a private function that was there when we visited - very kind.

Time to get back to your local, or travel if not your local. The food is always great, real food, no nonsense. The atmosphere always friendly. Phone to book to be safe, whatever way just go and support local business.

I really like it here, it feels more country than city edge when sitting outside. The food is lovely & staff are friendly & welcoming. I went & sat in the Garden here for a meal the 1st time out after shielding, I was incredibly nervous but was soon put at ease, the staff went out of their way to keep other groups separate from us.

No food available as chef has broken arm.

Got there at 7pm didn't order till 7.45pm didn't get food till 9.15pm and it wasn't busy and there was only two of us. People who had gotten there after us were served and had eaten before us. Disappointing as we've been before and it was lovely and efficient! First time I've considered walking out.

We went to the Roseycombe last night with friends who live 100 meters away. After being told we could sit outside and someone would take our order we waited for about 15 minutes and then asked a member of staff to take our drink order and let us have some menus. We ordered drinks and food, an hour later still no food. We were told the order had slipped off the clip. I accept mistakes happen but I suggest some staff training is required. If you've taken an order for food a cursory glance around would greatly assist the team.
