Where do I start? Ordered Sweet and sour chicken balls x10 2 x salt and pepper chips 1 x large chicken chow mean 2 x chicken curry with chips Pros Sweet and sour chicken balls were nice and fluffy, the Sweet and sour sauce was like red watery urine with zero flavour. Chicken chow mein was very salty, not much flavour and a definite lack of chicken. Salt and pepper chips........was exactly what it said, salt and pepper on some dry chips. Not nice. Now we come to the main event........chicken curry. The chicken........obviously not fresh chicken. Frozen diced cheap chicken that had the consistency of spam when you ate it (no chewing needed at all) Curry sauce was watery and very little taste, no spice.

Have used this take away for many years, and was very pleased with the quality and service , until approximately 12 months ago, when we had a couple of bad meals. Decided to try them again last night. Disaster! We didn’t receive the meals we had ordered (apart from one), even though the person taking the order had repeated the order! Absolutely awful. Will not be using them again.

Salt and pepper starter box was absolute dog food, didn't know that chips could be soggy and hard at the same time. Chicken was rock hard, spring rolls were okay, ribs were rough as anything. Wings I'm not even sure how to describe they were awful. Chicken chow mein was okay, could of done with some chicked in it. Beef in black bean sauce was okay, best dish of the evening hence 2 starts and not 1 Would never order from here again, described it to my co-eater as dog food.

We have just ordered the spare ribs in barbecue sauce. And the pork with bean sprouts. The pork and Beansbout is so dry. The spare ribs are like trying to eat rubber. We used to order food from this place every weekend. And it was fantastic. But not anymore, they will not receive a penny from me from now on' I wouldn't waste your money. We've been multiple times now, and the food has always been really tasty, with lots of meat packed into every dish. For value for money, I'd give it a 10/10 - you simply can't get more for your money. The food isn't restaurant quality, but for a takeaway, it's very good!

This is only based on the food that I had tonight normally it's very very good

Delivery man was very rude , firstly said curry was leaking , it was all in the carrier bag , no apology ,then said we were lucky to get it as we were out of area , and he was delivering to walsgrave , so the only reason i got it, i replied by saying the system shouldnt have accepted my order then Thai curry just tasted of chinese curry sauce , If this company wants to survive it needs to look at its customer service and food description, our thai curry didnt resemble thai at all Ordered from here 1yr ago and it was awful , but forgot until i read my review Such a shame as i used to live over the road , and used to love it !

This place is our standard go-to for Chinese takeaway. Food is always spot on, fast delivery always hot. All round great experience everytime.

Placed an order for a large group on a hen weekend, order was delivered with a smile and arrived at 6pm as requested, we ordered a range of starters main courses etc, all food was hot and meat especially duck was Amazing!, everybody was very happy with all the food, nice little touches with fortune cookies. Great service and great food.

Quite greasy mixed starters. Duck can be hit and miss, sometimes it's fine and other times it's dry. It used to be really a really good take away but recently the quality is noticeably poorer.

Have been a regular for 7/8 weeks, super food cooked quickly. We did have one dodgy night with no plumb sauce on the duck and sweet and sour sauce seemed watered down. Let them know and all was good this week

The fortunes in the cookies are always spot on for me! And lovely food - I’m a vegetarian and would like to see fake chicken on the menu - fake sweet & sour chicken would be amazing !

If I had a choice I would leave no stars. The first time we ordered from here items were missing, ordered again and items were missing. They did offer to give us a free item, which wouldn't of been free as had already paid for the missing item. The quality and taste of the food is really poor. Curry was rank. I will not be going back to waste money on this chinese.

Had a meal for 6 - all good quality except for the tofu dish which was the worst tofu I’ve ever encountered (extremely overcooked) The sauces for the dishes were all full of flavour and decent for the price. I’d recommend if you’re not a vegan.

First time we have used this take away , delivery option taken and they were bang on time , food was fantastic so nice to have fresh chillies,would not hesitate to use you again thanks for great food and service

Would not reccomend this Chinese at all used it quite a few times and spent a lot of money with them food is just average the chicken curry has no body to it just ok sauce and bits of chicken, no onions or peas, However our final and last expriance was a joke we spent over £40 on food and asked them if they would throw a bag of prawn crackers in for free they just laughed at us and we never got any, will never use them again

Disappointed with bland chicken and slimy vegetables

So disappointed tonight normally order from here. The salt and pepper king prawn had thick greasy tough chip shop batter on it. Not palatable at all. Rang and complained they did attempt to rectify it.

Just had a delivery. I must say it’s one of the worst meals I’ve ever had from a Chinese take away. We will never return. Advise people to find a alternative.

The food is great, we would pretty much always order from here if we want a Chinese, but unfortunately they have put their prices up massively in the last few weeks. Now almost too expensive to visit.

Visited last week and was really impressed with the food & service. Tonight, however, was a different experience. Ordered my food from the vegetarian options on their menu. Mentioned that we have no meat, no dairy. Lady looked a little clueless even though they have an allergens poster on the desk and to make them aware. Anyway... got the food, went home, ate half it then found chicken in my TOFU curry. Clearly have no idea about cross contamination. Will never eat here again.

The over use of raw green chillies, is way over the top. Their dishes are painful to eat.

Very disappointed that nobody was answering the phone this evening. We use this takeaway regularly & the website indicates that it is supposed to be open. We are in the process of installing a new kitchen & now left feeling very hungry. Occasions like this leave me very disillusioned as the service is unreliable.

First time ordering from here I must say everything we ordered was very nice.

Had a really nice takeaway on a number of occasions never had a bad meal yet.

Was superb but last few orders have been a bit rubbish. Will try again in the future I'm sure. Hopefully improves.

This is (now was) my go-to Chinese take-away because it’s always been good but tonight 19/07/18 it was salty, tasteless (the salt was so much it made the meal terrible) and at £20 a shot it isn’t cheap. So now on I’m not going to go here (I’m far too attached to my arteries, don’t need an heart attack) .

RUDE...... Had a meal last week, we live in CV2, but managed to find us after a long phone conversation. Tonight we have friends to dinner and thought we would order again. Apparently they can't find our address and in the end they put the phone down on me! I'm just glad that in this economic climate that they are so successful that they can turn down a £60 order. Unless you live near enough to get your own food, then don't bother!

Tasty Chinese food, especially singapore chow mein yumyum

Not good salt heaven fake meat and chewy asked for our order to be low fat not to much salt said no sauce pre made and prices are horrendous for the quality I have worked in the food industry for 20 years and very poor just look at fridge were the drinks are kept all undated and ready cooked food poor at best perhaps best to close of kitchen so peeps can't see poor practice level two hygiene standards a joke anyone' can pay 50 quid to get that simply bad don't go

Sticky flooring and Precook rice. Unfortunately checked out afterwards terrible food hygiene rating. Advice is to check with food standards sites before purchasing. Will not be using again, however bad news is due to the location nearest alternative is 15 minutes away by car.

We don't recommend this takeaway at all! Small portions and quite bland lacking in flavour. The dishes are also quite expensive. The problem is however that there are very few takeaway places in this area; so unfortunately there isn't much choice or alternative. But on the whole I'd recommend on saving your money and avoiding this place.
