This has to be the best value for money pub I've been to in a long time. Bar staff were super friendly, food was great and there was plenty of choice on the adult and kids menus. Lovely village location and an outdoor playarea for the warmer weather. We will be back and I'd happily recommend.

We didn't have food, as popped up with better half. Darren has provided the village with a great space. Everything you could want in a local and more. Beatles tribute were on and they were brilliant. Top evening.

My friend & I decided to try out this pub for lunch yesterday, neither of us having been there before. We received a very warm welcome from the guys behind the bar. Plenty of options on the food menu, portions were large and it was delicious. Reasonable price too. We felt very comfortable and look forward to coming back!

Lovely village pub, very friendly atmosphere with great affordable food. The beer garden has a bouncy castle for kids which is bonus.

I've visited this pub first time and I would like to share my opinion about eating here. I've ordered the halloumi fries as the starter and buffalo taco rolls and grilled chicken platter as the main meals. ( Plus juice and the beer) The food was very nice, the portions were generous and everything looked very delicious. The staff was friendly. I was sitting outside enjoying the sunny day. I will definitely come back there another day to try their noodles and the ice cream dessert which looked promising on the menu. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely pub, huge outdoor and indoor spaces. Friendly staff, nice locals. Pool table and darts board all being used - proper boozer.

Father's Day meal, was looking forward to it. Chose to go here as it was one of the best reviewed places in the area. My meal didn't arrive, everyone had more or less finished when I asked where mine was. "Are you sure you ordered it? And I read it back to you?". Yep. They forgot somehow. Credit due to giving a one pint discount on the bill, but it was too late. The steak looked good and tender, wish I'd ordered that. My moules came, just a bowl in white wine sauce, without the chips or crusty bread. Asked for that and it seemed like they'd forgotten to bring it out with the moules. After all that they were very meh. Hey ho, first time, last time.

Booked to take the family on Father’s Day for lunch. Although my father in law lives in Coventry we’d never been here before. Friendly welcoming staff - we had a cosy table ( 6 of us) food is fantastic value and freshly prepared. All the family seemed very happy with their food!

Truly a gem of a place. Warm and welcoming, with super friendly bar team. Beer is well kept (Wye Valley beers), food was delicious and generous portions. Dog friendly throughout.

Was a regular for over a year in 2016/17 on my way home from work when worked close by. Never eaten there so can only comment on the pint and the service. Went there randomly on route to going fishing last week. Pint still as good as it was back then, pub always busy, large back garden and staff delivering an excellent service

My partner and I popped in just by chance with the dog whilst we explored the village. We encountered excellent customer service, a friendly atmosphere and good reasonably priced food. Will definitely have to come back in the summer months

Superb pub with delicious food (generous portions), and reasonably priced. Service was first class and the atmosphere was perfect. Would highly recommend. Also very dog friendly, a bowl of water on arrival for my dog.

We had a large family get together- 15 of us. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. Actually it was the best rump steak I’ve ever had! Really good portions and a delicious sticky toffee pudding. The kids loved the play area too.

I was staying at a local hotel and checked out Trip Advisor and came across thisnpub nearby. I had excellent meal which was half roast chicken, fries and beans. Service very friendly with a wide selection of beers and decent menu. I will return.

First visit. Went for a meal with our friends and everyone commented on the high standard of the food. A winner for me was Butty Bach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Four star for the atmosphere was because we didn't pay much attention as we were catching up in our own little bubble. Lovely grounds and location.

We had fish,chips and peas with either 1/2 pint or a pint of certain drinks for £21.00. The fish and chips were very good. Good portion size. We had cider as our drink. Excellent value. The staff were very friendly. The pub was a bit basic, a lick of paint would be good. We have never been here before but we would go again for the food.

The Rose and Crown is a great village pub, Wolston is incredibly lucky to have a central hub where families can relax and have fun, the kids can play in the garden with a climbing frame all year round and a bouncy castle in the summer, while the adults can socialise. There are always events on for families and adults and Darren and his team work so hard to make these exciting and accessible for everyone. We’ve just been to the kids Halloween party and what a huge effort, goody bags for all the kids, prizes for fancy dress and a disco! What a great family night out. The food is always good and very reasonably priced, with a great variety to chose from. We honestly always enjoy our time there, the team will do their best to help in any way that they can. Thanks to Darren and the team for all their hard work for the village.

Lovely inside and out. We hired the Skittles alley with friends and had buffet food at a really good price. The food they did was even suitable for vegetarians. We were not disappointed. The staff and other were friendly.

We had a lovely time, and the bouncy castle was a big hit with the kids, the menu is a bit different from some places in a great way we have a vegan that was very very happy with the choice as she usually finds not a lot of variety but their menu is very good the pizza was good very pleasant friendly staff. Will be back . Highly recommended.

We went here tonight . 9 adults 4 children. Great food .Very very tasty .Great value to. All children were free . Other meals 2-4 - £14 . Could not fault the taste , the service or the value. Friendly staff .Even the chef singing was fab . Also dog friendly. Nice big garden to .Cheers guys will definitely be back x

Love this tradition local pub ,the staff are both friendly and efficient. Most importantly the food is constantly delicious, obviously using fresh quality ingredients and well cooked. They have a broad selection of drinks well kept and I particularly like how they have quiz nights supporting local community charities. Well worth a visit.

We love the Rose & Crown. A truly lovely young staff that bother to get to know you and have a smile and sense of humour. They try their best for you, it's rarely no they can usually find an alternative. The manager is quiet but always bothers to say hello. There's always a fun thing to do or something coming up, ie Bingo, Quizzes, things in the garden. It's very family oriented. The toilets are clean and warm in the winter. The pool table could do with an overall but, actually, its as fun to alter & adapt your game. My not so goods are few: too many TV screens, more space for music, and although the food is cracking good, the menu itself gets a bit boring.

It's a nice village pub in the centre of Wolston. Nice atmosphere inside, including TV sport, snooker table and darts. Food is good quality and nicely presented and there are deals to be had. I enjoyed my evening here. Will likely visit again, when next in Wolston

Sunday 6.30pm , popped in on a recommendation to try their food, And it finishes at 5.45pm Was a bit disappointed that it closes early , but will review when I get there eventually

Came today with the family during the garden walk about, Darren found us a larger table straight away and the staff serving were all pleasant and polite. And to top it off the food was awesome!! Loving the Desperado Burger as well!!😋🍔. Keep up the good work ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏻

We ended up here at lunchtime by accident, but are glad we did. I had the lasagne, and my partner the steak and steak and ale pie. Both of which were very nice. We'll return.

Sunday me and the family decided to have dinner and the rose and crown and I can say we will be making this a Regular trip! Beautiful food and quality service and a great environment for the kiddies.

Pop in for a couple of pints on Saturday afternoon after walking the dogs. Landlord was welcoming and beer and prices good.

Once again met by true hospitality and great service from Darren and all his lovely staff. Good food brilliant selection of drinks. Great pub best in the area by a country mile. Returning next week and going home with a new doggy !!!

Great lunch on New Years Day. Accommodated 8 of us including 4 kids, a dog and a dairy/sesame allergy. Staff were super friendly, great atmosphere and food was really good.
