Elegant and simple cooking by a very experienced chef. Excellent fresh local fish -and BYO is a great incentive to return often.

We enjoyed lovely sweet potato soup, hot drinks and mars bar cakes to take home. The portions of soup were very big and delicious. The total cost was around £20 which we thought was excellent. The staff working at Clay Bakery were so friendly and welcoming too.

Me my grandad and my Nan come here when ever we come to Burry town. I highly recommend the hot chocolate. When I have my hot chocolate I have the chocolate cream on the side because I don’t the cream in my hot chocolate. My grandad has a strawberry iced latte. and my nan has a cup of tea.

We used to travel to Shap or Longtown for the best chip suppers, then we discovered the Morton Fryer. We used to think it was good, particularly because they sell Steve Wilson's steak pies. If you haven't tasted them, you haven't lived. Unfortunately, they lost our confidence and custom completely, the time when we phoned in advance to order four lots of steak pie and chips, and they completely destroyed them in the microwave. When I complained, they didn't even have the grace to respond. Back to Shap & Longtown.

First time at The Bill having arrived on a canal boat a short walk away. We were greeted on arrival and made to feel so welcome. The menu was explained to us and we quickly ordered. The food arrived in no time and was just excellent. Honestly one of the best Sunday dinners we’ve had in a long while. Definitely recommend

This is, without doubt, the best Chinese takeaway in Eastbourne!! Two of us had the fried beef and green peppers in black bean sauce. The meat was beautifully tender, the peppers, onions and vegetables cooked to perfection 'al dente', and all spiced just right. Singapore fried rice beautifully spiced and the chicken chow mien were wonderful noodles. As always, my wife had a spring roll which she rates as the best she has ever had, being lovely and crispy and not dripping in oil like so many of them! Her Sweet/sour King Prawn Balls were superb (as always, and you get no less than 10 of them!!) and we all shared some of those!! Consistently excellent, this particular meal was probably the best ever from the Golden Flower Kitchen. Go nowhere else!!

If you like steak you have found the right place. We just had the signature dish of featherblade steak with two side dishes, all were cooked to perfection and delicious. We were looked after from booking the table to paying the bill by Joanne who is helpful, friendly and really attentive. We really loved the atmosphere and the music, if we lived in the area we would eat there every week ,great value for money, ten out of ten if you are visiting the Southend area do not miss this Gem.😄 Andrew and Bridget Norwich xx.

We had a really nice stay at the hotel, location is great as it’s quiet. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast, good drinks as well. Definitely gonna be back next time we’re in the area

We called in on the off chance 5pm on a Thursday all the tables were booked so we asked a young lady with short hair and tattoos if she could help sorry I didn't get her name.she was so helpful and pointed out all the deals. We had a nice pub meal but the service stood out

Returned to Mezza for a catch up with friends as last time it was amazing. Really disappointed, I know everywhere prices have gone up which we have to except but the quality shouldn't have gone down, which we feel it has. No salad, just the pickled bits, no sauces and if we didn't ask we wouldn't have been given any, portion sizes have dramatically reduced too. Had ice cream sundae for dessert and the crunchy bits and sauce missed. Tasta was ok but not blown away. We won't be returning.

We had a great experience at Hub Box Falmouth. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were absolutely lovely - friendly, welcoming, and couldn’t have been more willing to help us. They made sure we had a table with plenty of space for our pram, which we really appreciated. We’ll definitely be back!
