The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Avon and Swift Rugby West Midlands

This is a quirky and interesting little place in a lovely spot by the canal but falls short beyond that. We only ordered coffee and tea due to poor service and quality of the drinks. The drinks were not hot. Tea was served already stewed and luke warm from a machine and the coffee was cool and tasteless served in tiny cups. I had to ask for hot water and tea bags and start again with the girl serving as there was no communication. I felt as though I was a nuisance asking for hot drinks. This place could be so much more. The prices were cheap but I’m happy to pay more for a decent cup of tea and coffee. How can that be too much to ask? We decided not to risk ordering any food!

The little beer shed has changed hands and is now a mini bakery outlet selling some quite good bread, coffee and baked snacks. I hope that Ales and Tails mobile operation is still out and about.

Lovely coffee and cake, came back for ice cream later after time in the park and a canoe trip from the quarry! Lovely location and great staff with even better ice cream!

So disappointing , such a beautiful venue and great for kids to play in the play area but .. slow service and not the first time waited 20 mins for our drinks which was a bottle of cider and a can of lemon Fanta , waited 50 mins for our lunch which was a jacket potato and fish and chips and a kids meal . When arrived jacket was cold , the fish and chips were a bag of frozen chunky chips not cooked all the way through and the fish was just a frozen fish fillet was expecting something fresh and worth the money . Kids meal was cold but he still ate it as it didn’t bother him . Waited 10 mins for his ice cream still hadn’t came so we just left . Did go in to talk to someone but the chef was there waving his hands saying this is f-ing ridiculous and the two girls on the till were so young looked like they was still training so we just left.

Food not the worst but extremely put off my hygiene. Pictures to follow , faeces everywhere. Staff all just talking when a staff memeber saw the poo in the toilet and did nothing about. Just really filthy looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. As a pregnant women this is very scary as I feel exposed to such bacteria. I feel so uncomfortable.

You walk 3 hours consuming at least one litre of water per person to discover no free water station and a plastic bottle 50cl costing £2.20 which probably cost them less than 15p. Astonishing, unnecessary and not promoting a plastic free environment. I understand there is no natural water supply but seriously… find a compromise please
