We enjoyed lovely sweet potato soup, hot drinks and mars bar cakes to take home. The portions of soup were very big and delicious. The total cost was around £20 which we thought was excellent. The staff working at Clay Bakery were so friendly and welcoming too.

Warm friendly service, had a cappuccino & Cornish pasty. Lovely coffee, Cornish pasty was tasty but the filling wasn’t very “filling”. Would recommend and go back though.

Dirty table where the was one attempt at cleaning which was a swipe of the hand. Waited 40 mins to get the wrong order. Paid a fiver for a sandwich. A clear training need for all staff on communication, hospitality and sandwich making. Maybe it was the fact it was Market day and they couldn't cope, maybe.

We stopped here for lunch recently and were super impressed, not only by the food but also by the warm and friendly service provided. Even though they were really busy when we arrived we were all, including my little dog, welcomed with a smile and found a table. I can highly recommend both the toasties and the pasty which my partner had. We will definitely return next time we are in Machynlleth...

My friend and I visited Mach on a Tuesday and found the town very much lacking in suitable venues open for lunch However, we are so glad we came across Clay Bakery. We both opted for the homemade Cornish Pasties which were very tasty, good pastry and nice peppery filling. On the downside, we would have preferred them to be hot instead of luke warm. Served with a lovely mixed salad. Friendly service

Glad to have found this place for something to eat and drink on a cold windy day. Tasty, fresh, homemade food - quiche and salad for lunch. It was obvious that the 'owner' cares about the food and bakery items available.

This is a delightful café and bakery. The food and coffee was scrumptious. I had a tasty homemade vegetable soup with delicious buckwheat sourdough bread with butter. My husband had Spanish fritata with salad and humous which he enjoyed very much. Lovely ambient music. Warm and friendly welcome from the staff and we enjoyed chatting with Natalie, the owner. We highly recommend this establishment. We've bought a loaf of the bread we had and some pastel de nata (Portuguese custard tarts) to eat later. All lovingly made on the premises here

We booked a table at Clay Bakery for their Mexican evening. Myself, my husband, our two children and my parents. The food was delicious - the best burritos and nachos! It was spicy but not too spicy and we all came away full and extremely satisfied. My 10 yo son gave them 500 points and said 'Natalie & Sam's food is wonderful' or something very much like that... We live locally and love supporting local businesses. Needles to say, we will be back!

The best place for coffee in the town ! This place deserves to succeed with it's lovely fresh food. We also bought some Cornish pasties to take home which were delicious. They are working on the interior and need to improve the "kerb appeal" somehow. Just pop inside and sample their products and you won't be disappointed. It's definitely our new "go to" bakery when taking a break in this town. Best of luck, you deserve to do well.

Went for food on Friday. Both my husband and I had the sirloin steak. Best steak we've had for some time. The presentation is great and the extras give the meal restaurant quality. Good selection of wine and beer. Desserts always of high quality.

Honestly best Fish and Chips in Rugby. If you've not been here, do so it's so fresh, and staff are really friendly and the taste is amazing. I rarely go anywhere else.

Great venue for local artists and makers. Usually demonstrations taking place. Fabulous cakes and drinks available. It's not a pub anymore! Don't rate it low just because it's not been updated on here it is unfair! How do request a change of listing TripAdvisor?
