Golden Flower Chinese Eastbourne in Rugby

This is, without doubt, the best Chinese takeaway in Eastbourne!! Two of us had the fried beef and green peppers in black bean sauce. The meat was beautifully tender, the peppers, onions and vegetables cooked to perfection 'al dente', and all spiced just right. Singapore fried rice beautifully spiced and the chicken chow mien were wonderful noodles. As always, my wife had a spring roll which she rates as the best she has ever had, being lovely and crispy and not dripping in oil like so many of them! Her Sweet/sour King Prawn Balls were superb (as always, and you get no less than 10 of them!!) and we all shared some of those!! Consistently excellent, this particular meal was probably the best ever from the Golden Flower Kitchen. Go nowhere else!!

Golden Flower is takeaway/delivery only. Our order is always taken carefully and repeated back and what it will cost stated. Three of us had ours delivered last evening 9th June. As usual, on time. The other two had usual spring roll, s/sour King Prawn balls, Chicken chow mien, fried chicken in lemon sauce. We thought we'd share Fried chicken with cashew nuts. I thought I'd try something different (usually have duck in plum sauce). I went for Singapore Fried Rice and Duck with green peppers in a black bean sauce. I have to say it was wonderful! Not too spicy but just enough in both the rice and duck to have a little heat coming through. Everything else was as good as it always is from this GREAT TAKEAWAY! Thank you GOLDEN FLOWER! You will NOT find a better takeaway in Eastbourne!

Consistently delivers excellence! Last evening, Son had Lemon Chicken, wife King Prawn Balls with a pancake roll and they shared a chicken chow mien. I had Duck in Plum sauce with special fried rice. Wife can never manage all her prawn balls (you actually get 10 - yep, ten!!) so Son and I had some of those as well. Some free mini pancake rolls and prawn crackers as well!! Everything was absolutely great! We've had at least ten takeaways from here and never been disappointed. And we've got enough left for lunch for all of us today! All that and delivered for £32.40!!! We won't go anywhere else.

Wonderful value, superb quality of food and lots of it! We've had six takeaways in the last few months and they've all been consistently good. My wife likes spring rolls and she says these are the best ones she's ever had. Far away from the usual limp and greasy offering! She usually has sweet and sour prawn balls. They are huge and you get 10 of them! (not 'finger trouble' you really do get ten!). My duck in plum sauce is great also. If you have ribs, the meat is falling off the bone. If you have a 'special' rice, there is loads of whatever 'special' you have chosen i.e. chicken fried rice will have a lot of chicken! Delivery is pretty reliable. Quite the best Chinese takeaway we've ever used!

Very good takeaway, food was tasty and fairly hot. Delivery man was friendly and was only a few minutes late. Would recommend

Had a very nice meal tonight. Ordered it via their website and pre ordered it for the evening. Turned up bang on when we wanted it. Food was really hot and very tasty. Special fried rice was flavourful and plenty of ingredients in. Some places skimp on the meat etc Beef chow mein was very nice. Again plenty of meat. Also had some Battered lemon chicken and crispy chilli beef. Both very good and safe to say all got eaten. Will definitely order again! Thanks :)
