Sat waiting for over ten minutes..music so loud you can't hear yourself....service is frankly rubbish...staff ignoring us now...is it really worth the wait

Found this place behind the main car park in Falmouth. really surprised how big it was. We ordered a full English breakfast & a sausage egg & bacon . We were surprised how much food we received ! The staff were very pleasant & very serice orientated. Nice views of the har bour from the outdoor seating area.

Lots of different drinks and smoothies I had crab fries lovely chips in cheese with capers and crab They had burgers with a portion of garlic and Parmeson cheese chips Lots of seats outside with a view of falmouth Harbour but a bit too windy so sat inside

We had a pleasant reception from the manager and subsequently from the staff, very welcoming indeed. The food was of a good standard to be expected from this chain. I would say that there are some small tweaks needed to polish the interior, as it was quite tired. Loved that we were advised of the optional tip, which cemented my decision to award.

Very friendly staff and excellent service. There was a lot of choice on the menu and we decided on a few sharing dishes with a main each. Cocktails were lovely too! Definitely come back again and would recommend especially for families as staff were very friendly and helpful and the menu had something for everyone.

We had the pleasure of having lunch at Hub Box and were delighted by the exceptional service provided by Ethan, who charmingly resembled Ed Sheeran. From the moment we walked in, Ethan's friendly and personal approach made our dining experience truly special. The delicious burgers we ordered were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, a testament to the quality of the food at Hub Box. But what really stood out was Ethan's attentive service. He took the time to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel welcomed and valued as customers. Ethan's warm demeanor and genuine enthusiasm added an extra layer of enjoyment to our meal. It's rare to find such dedicated staff who go above and beyond to create a memorable experience. We'll definitely be returning to Hub Box, and a big part of that is thanks to Ethan's excellent service. Thank you, Ethan, for making our lunch truly enjoyable. You're a star!

Really lovely setting in the event square. We ordered the beef burger & fries deal which was a good sized portion. The burger was juicy, not overcooked and the burger sauce was delicious. Really impressed with the quality of food and the service was great.

Very uninspiring meal here. Service was okish but food tasteless and not good value. Chicken and Brie burgers lacked taste and very little chicken and hardly any salad leaves. Had to pay extra for frozen chips which were dull and boring. We would not return again. Left and went to another restaurant for dessert and more drinks Would not recommend.

Enjoyed a couple of nice burgers and dirty fries here today. Staff were lovely and there’s a great view of the harbour! I would say it’s quite expensive for a family to eat at (children’s meals were £10 and they didn’t have massive portions). I think it’s worth it if you’re having the burgers though!

Went for a lovely evening meal yesterday, observed a large party come in whilst me and my partner were waiting for our food. We watched as their server was visibly disgusted and annoyed at having to serve them!!!! I could hear them apologizing to the server and they didn’t care and continued to be rude! He was down right blunt, i could see the party were quite upset. Will not be visiting again if this is the case for others. Our service was ok but slow.

Really Really fancied a burger and could smell the beef wafting through the door so chose hear, we had the lunch menu the burger was fantastic so tasty and full off flavour and just enough chips, the milkshake was also nice, what let it down was the chicken wings, I love chicken wings have them almost everywhere we eat out but hear they wernt very nice at all the batter dropped right off and they were full off what tasted like grease soon as you took a bite it all just fell apart really didn't enjoy them but the rest was fab, service good also but seemed extremely quiet we where the second table in the hour and half we were there.

Good food and good beers. However, Hubbox on the whole has gone downhill overtime. The prices have gone up and the burgers have got smaller. I ordered a Big Kahuna which comes with pulled pork & double patties. The patties have shrunk in size & the pork wasn’t as obvious as previous versions of the burger. I have eaten in many Hubbox restaurants over the years, from the little shipping container on Lemon Quay to the restaurant in Cardiff. The food is always tasty but the quality of the product has dropped. However, this particular restaurant had good service, the staff were fast & attentive. The chips were cold though!

Went with my kids for the locals night and met the new GM. Lovely food, drinks and great atmosphere. Recommended to anyone who wants a good burger and view. Will be back soon

I dined here with my family earlier this month and really enjoyed it. Our waiter was so lovely, really attentive, friendly and welcoming, unfortunately i didn't catch his name but really appreciated his efforts. The food was absolutely delicious and they had a great selection for children too with activities on the menu to keep them entertained which was great. Such a lovely location, we sat and ate our meal watching the boats in the marine.

We will be back always loved hub box having gluten free food. first visit to Falmouth very pleased with the restaurant and service clean and tidy . We always went to Truro but that restaurant is very grubby and dirty so we don't use it anymore.

We come to Hubbox all the time and were disappointed that the menu had changed removing our favourites. Thank fully, the menu has changed again to include the Kim Yum chick and Motherclucker fries which were severely missed! So glad they are back! Our servers were lovely and really helpful. Food was as yummy as it always is. Always looked after, including our dog! The only thing I would say is I wish the Kim Yum Chick burger was the previous recipe, I’m not so keen on the fried coating, it was a lot better before.

Unfortunately since it changed from Hubbox this has really gone to pot. The menu changed and just isn’t as good. Falmouth is full of seafood places, Hubbox was a nice change but has now just jumped on the same bandwagon. We waited almost half an hour and actually had to ask for someone to take our drinks order. It wasn’t even busy - perhaps they would be more on the ball if it was. I used to recommend friends and visitors go here but I won’t again. Hubbox was a great place that originated in Cornwall and I was happy to support it. Just have no desire to do so anymore. The staff attitude is unbelievably poor. Which will lead to failure in a town where there are so many alternative places with amazing customer service. Such a shame.

First time to this location for Hubbox and we will definitely be back. Excellent tasty food and really friendly staff. Also a great drink selection.

We have visited this restaurant for the first time and we been going here till we stayed at Falmouth .. delicious food , especially the burgers with hot sauce we really enjoyed .. the cocktails are really recommended .. the ambience was very nice especially when you are sitting by the sea and enjoy the food with amazing view ..

Stumbled across this on a visit to Falmouth whilst on our way home. Main thing fir us was that it catered for coeliacs which it did. My wife had the tomato and egg thing - can’t remember the name - and she said it was lovely. I have the sausage egg bacon sandwich which was great. There isn’t a lot on the breakfast menu but given how good it was and the quality of ingredients used, there really doesn’t need to me., well worth a visit. Cheers

Went in with some friends for some of the loaded fries and burgers. Unfortunately, we didn't end up staying for food after reading the new menu. It has stripped away so many really good items in an attempt to become a seafood place. The seafood options seemed mediocre at best and really weren't appealing. Hub Box, Falmouth has lost its identity and falls far short of some of the other far more appealing seafood restaurants nearby (most in walking distance). Personally, I would've thought it more wise to stick with the burgers and fries comfort food vibe they had established (and smashed) because this made them very well liked amongst locals. I'm aware this is only a local change so it's even more disappointing to find others can still enjoy the old, delicious, menu :(

I hate giving poor reviews, but I struggled with this place. My husband chose hake and chips. The fish was nice, fresh and well-cooked but came with a side of crushed minted peas - the portion was less than a tablespoon and had more mint than peas, not very nice at all. I chose lobster roll which was pretty revolting - an untoasted brioche finger roll with a few nuggets of very stringy and rubbery lobster with garlic butter - the garlic was barely discernible and because the roll wasn't toasted the butter just made it a horrible, soggy mess. The staff were friendly and attentive, but the food was rather a let-down apart from the hake. We wouldn't return.

A great disappointment. The service was poor ( from the young guy). The steak was sent back as it was barely warm and really chewy. Although the steak was taken off the bill as it wasn't eaten it took so long to get the attention of staff ( despite it being a quiet night of about 20 people) that I was over half way through mine so my wife didn't reorder a meal. So we ended up paying £49.50 for a cheap bottle of wine 5 chicken wings and a burger. Luckily Falmouth is awash with other restaurants, so here's my tips to the owner. Go and dine at some of these and measure yourself against them. So food quality, service, atmosphere etc. You will find you fall short. Retrain staff and if customers are to pay £20 for a burger and over £20 for a piece of meat.. it needs to be good.

Extremely disappointing new limited menu which has significantly gone up in price. The waitress explained they are trialing more fish dishes as this Hub Box location is by the sea….but there were no mussels or fish tacos available when we visited. The famous loaded fries are off the menu which is crazy as one of the most popular items. It seems so strange to change the menu at the Falmouth branch when it was so popular before.
