Was with a group and had prearranged a meal for 14 prior to watching a show Place very busy I had ordered the pork in cider sauce along with 2 others Dishes that were served were lukewarm and had to be returned The best part fir me is normally the crackling part of the belly pork all 3 portions were without the crackling part Very disjointed service Mediocre at best

Just had yet another great Chinese meal from Rich at the New Chop Suey Bar in Hereford. I’ve been going to this store for over 20 years and they’ve never let me down. If you’re looking for a solid Chinese, look no further because they’re the best Chinese restaurant in town. Cheers Richard and chefs! Top folks.

We go every week but our last three visits have been poor. Today the restaurant was cold and draughty because both doors were open. My meal was cold by half way through. The pad Thai is now served with dried onion bits instead of chopped peanuts and it's cheap and horrible. Very disappointed. Will find another restaurant for our weekly meet.

A warm friendly welcome from the staff on our arrival and the said we could pick where we wanted to sit as they weren't too busy - this was a real plus as we normally get put on a small table for 2 with limited space. There were great views from the balcony and the restaurant was nicely decorated. The menu offers a great variety of dishes and some new ones we hadn't come across before. We settled for the chicken shashlick and chicken achari after eating our poppadoms and pickles. Glasses of wine were very reasonably priced and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. The portions were a good size too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and if I lived nearer would make it my regular choice.

Rarely disappointed with Warners Holme Lacey .Apart from the occasional glitches as on this occasion the blue lift broke down and repairs were still ongoing when we left 48 hrs later. Considerable inconvenience to those disabled wheelchair users, but didnt affect us too much. I would however make a comment about the market kitchen restaurants food presentation. Most of the evening meals were tasty and served hot, unfortunately something not to be said of the fried breakfasts. Eggs and bacon etc cooked earlier and standing albeit on hot plates were far from an acceptable temperature by the the time one has sat down to eat it. Perhaps ordering something from the kitchen and fresh cooked is the answer in future visits. All said and done, not enough criticism to stop us visiting Holme Lacey which has long been one of our favourite venues.
