The best restaurants in Town East Staffordshire West Midlands

This is the third time we have visited here and we received a lovely welcome as always . The meal was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful . To round of the evening George came out and spoke to everyone at the tables to make sure everything was OK with meals etc. A lovely touch to actually the chef/ owner . Lovely evening. Will be going again.

My sister and I dined here for her birthday treat, she has been following them on Facebook for a while so we finally visited. We knew straight away from the pictures and menu that the chorizo fish platter was a must, It didn’t disappointed, it was delicious!!! (fish bones are included though!! that can be off putting for some) Staff were super friendly and I actually questioned the bill because it was extremely reasonable for such a lovely meal. Well done, we will definitely revisit as the roast dinners on the table adjacent to us looked amazing.

4 of us went for an lndian night poppadoms and chutneys to start next were onion bhaji and samosas with a vegetable dish and the mains there was a choice 3 of currys with rice and nan bread and fresh fruit with ice cream for dessert all in all a very nice meal and the staff were excellent and polite we have also been for Sunday lunch and would go back again

Stopped here on our way to Chester and, although it is only a small establishment, it had a good choice, including the infamous vegan sausage roll. Staff were continually cleaning the shelves and floor, and appeared to be taking pride in the place.

Fantastic food, wine and staff. Just needs a bit of music.

Fantastic menu and food. Great friendly service and atmosphere. Our go to place for us as a couple or with the whole family. Best restaurant in Uttoxeter.

Great place to go for coffee to play games or take the dog everyone is welcomed :) only one this is that it can be quite cold so take a jumper

Used to love coming to bear for food but my last couple of visits have been mediocre to say the least. Veggie breakfast this morning came out without halloumi (the main centre piece to a veggie breakfast) no communication that this would be the case. Spoke with a member of staff who thought they may have run out the previous day. Told a delivery had arrived and they would prepare some. I had to asked for the rest of the breakfast to be returned to the kitchen to keep warm.. the results a Luke warm (clearly been sat out on the side) breakfast with an overcooked poached egg. For £13.90 I'll be going else where in town for my breakfast.

Been looking for a good local chippy. Fish freshly cooked to order. Chips and batter were crisp and not soggy. Large haddock is really big! All really tasty! We will be back!

I had a meat Balti which was lovely but the look on my wife’s face told me something was wrong she Three pices of chicken in a very watery soup which didn’t Taste of anything The Pilau Rice was lovely and the popudums . My Garlic Nan was red in colour and a bit burnt in places but was ok Taste . Unfortunately my wife’s meal Chicken Balti was awful . i would have complained if we weren’t in a bit of a hurry.

Our first visit and we were impressed - food beautifully presented and served . The grilled sea bass was superb. Would have liked a larger selection of desserts as there was nothing 'plain' e.g a sorbet or vanilla ice-cream

I ordered a full English from uber eats, it was amazing, definitely the best in town!! I’ll definitely be eating here more often🥰x
