The best restaurants serving British food in Town East Staffordshire West Midlands

Used to love coming to bear for food but my last couple of visits have been mediocre to say the least. Veggie breakfast this morning came out without halloumi (the main centre piece to a veggie breakfast) no communication that this would be the case. Spoke with a member of staff who thought they may have run out the previous day. Told a delivery had arrived and they would prepare some. I had to asked for the rest of the breakfast to be returned to the kitchen to keep warm.. the results a Luke warm (clearly been sat out on the side) breakfast with an overcooked poached egg. For £13.90 I'll be going else where in town for my breakfast.

first time trying cods corner today, amzing food and great service. kids loved the fried oreos!!! fish was amazing, we will defo be back!

I was looking after my elderly father for the day & we came for a potter around Uttoxeter. I wanted somewhere for us to eat & chose this based on the TA reviews. We weren't disappointed. The service was cheerful & the food was great. I'd particularly recommend the Rocky Road! This is a great value café & I will return next time I'm in town.

I had the steak pie the pastry was hard as it had been warmed up in a microwave to long there was more gravy in it than meat and the meat that was in it was all grisly it was awful won't be going again

Lovely hotel right in town, friendly staff. I'm a lot fitter now than when I got there due to no lift! We sadly came for a funeral everyone was kind, thank you x

Only stayed for 2 nights in this old hotel . On suite showers 🚿 TV in rooms, teas, and coffee provided. helpful, friendly staff Bar lounge and garden with seats and heater 👌.FREE EV CHARGING. Pillow's are flat same has mattress. Didn't sleep. Needs up dating new beds quilts and Pillow's pretty much worst couple of nights sleep I have had . Room not worth £80 per night

Pedigree is extremely good in the Red Lion. Plenty of bar snacks and always good music in the background.

Unfortunately poor value for money on a Sunday, went to mcdonald's instead
