The best restaurants in St Thomas's Dudley West Midlands

Ordered a BBQ pizza that tasted awful. It had a strong and unpleasant taste that I can only describe as reminiscent of a "wet dog smell". Very disappointed.

Clearly the older lady behind the counter did not want me to serve me or for me to stay - entered the shop at 1630 hoping to get a cheese toastie and coffee before my class at 5pm. I was told I couldn't have one of the 2 remaining mozzarella melts as she had to turn the grill off to 'deep clean' it at 1630 - the only savoury thing left was a meat sandwich and I'm vegetarian - there was nobody in the shop customer wise and 2 younger girls none of them were busy doing 'deep cleaning' so I am now sat in an independent eatery having said cheese toastie and a drink before my class at 5pm, which is cheaper and nice food - so cheers lady in Costa who doesn't want customers to eat in - may I suggest you change your closing time to 1630

I have been going to this Fish and Chip shop since I was in year 7 and it is still the BEST TO THIS DAY. Everyone I knew were very upset because a bus ran into this shop and its amazing that they have managed to rebuild very quickly and be able to serve as soon as they could. If you are looking for a good ol' fashioned orange battered fish and chips, this is the place to get it. It is amazing, the portion isn't bad either.

I love Caledonia but today chicken tasted like it had curry seasoning init, please dont do that please i beg you please

Constant banging noise all night from the outdated sash windows meant I was unable to sleep as it sounded like someone was banging on the window constantly. Would not stay again.

I've used this takeaway for 40 years and never had a problem. Closed on Mondays except bank hols.

Horrible food, horrible service requested cutlery didn't even give that and did not give a straw with my drink very disappointed.

Always a favourite local Indian takeaway. Consistently on time with delivery, always polite and food piping hot both times I've recently ordered. Tropical Chicken was delicious! Highly recommend and will use again.

My partner and I visited here for a Valentine’s Day dinner, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. I ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese, and when our mains arrived, they were missing our side orders of garlic bread and fries. To make matters worse, my Spaghetti Bolognese was served cold. After raising the issue with staff, a fresh plate was prepared for me, but it took 15 minutes for it to arrive—and still, my partner had nearly finished his meal by the time mine was ready. It was particularly frustrating as we had hoped to enjoy our meal together, but instead, we were eating separately on a special occasion. When the new Spaghetti Bolognese arrived, it was greasy, oily, and looked completely different from the first plate, which had been dry. The meat was fatty, and the entire dish was far from enjoyable. To top it off, we weren’t offered any form of compensation, such as a refund or discount, which made the experience even more disappointing. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise against ordering the Spaghetti Bolognese, and I would be cautious about dining here in general.

Visited for Sunday lunch our meals were overcooked really hard yorkshire puddings and barely warm overdone roast potatoes. Luke warm cauliflower cheese. Overdone tart pastry really hard. Very disappointing. Ordered cappucino arrived was luke warm and not a cappucino more like a very milky flat white. Waited ages for meal to arrive. Wont be going back

Ordered a buy 1 get 1 free pizza for the family and they were awful! 1) It's was too greasy and literally dripping with oil. 2) Barely any toppings or cheese on the pizza at all. Pizza usually goes quick but this time there was lots of left overs that had to be thrown away even after trying to make it better by adding our own cheese and pepperoni slices at home. It was just too soggy and drenched with oil with no taste. Won't be going again.

Had breakfast, the service was excellent I notice him check the cutlery before bringing it to the table, attention to detail, the food well cooked and presented. Value for money. Great place would definitely recommend 5 stars

The steak was beautiful cooked to perfection best food I've had in a while. Presented and served perfect amount. Top marks to the chef, my partner enjoyed his ribs aswell.

Disappointing Experience – Burnt Pizza & Bad Service I had high hopes for this place, but I was really disappointed. The pizza was completely burnt, making it almost inedible. On top of that, the customer service was terrible—staff were rude and unhelpful when I raised the issue. I expected much better for the price. Definitely won’t be ordering again!
