Friendly staff. Ordered drinks and meals at bar. Food arrived in a reasonable time and good apart from pastry on the pie which was very hard although filling was lovely.

Very friendly place very welcoming lovely food, Sundays they have a Roast I had Turkey with all the trimmings the beef ribs are great too!

Friendly welcome and seated quickly. Our drinks order was taken and delivered fairly quickly. After a brief wait our food order was taken - a sharing starter and main meal each. The starter arrived quickly however we did wait some time for our main which wasn’t too much of an issue as some places are bringing your main out before you’ve even finished your starter. My order of salmon fish cakes was slightly over cooked as the fish didn’t fall apart as expected and was a little dry and the poached egg was overcooked with no runny yolk. My husband’s steak which should have been medium rare was more medium cooked but was still enjoyable. After our plates were cleared the waitress gave us the chalk board with the dessert menu on as we had already expressed we wanted a dessert. This was the last we saw of her. We waited a good 15+ minutes for someone to take our order then gave up! We paid the bill and left. We will return but think a little more attention is needed to the tables by staff.

We had a amazing experience at this establishment, myself and family were served to a great standard from all servers who assisted our meal. It was dog friendly so we were able to bring our little dog along for the experience. Will definitely visit this establishment again 😊

I recently attended not once but twice to breakfast with Santa and Santa Paws. Both events were wonderfully managed, food was great and the events were a huge success! See you next year! X

We attended the Santa breakfast and had a lovely time with friends. We had quite a large table, 19 of us in total and service was prompt with lovely food The festive setting was great for the children with arts & craft set out. They all had gifts and it was so wonderful we even booked the Santa Paws breakfast the week after which was equally as nice. Top efforts made by the staff with my children too (and dog 😀 )

Lovely family visit! We went to the crab mill just before Christmas for their festive menu. There were 7 of us in total and found it great value for money. The started came out promptly and our mains, staff did a check back too. The pub had a great festive feel too it too

Party of 15 booked for festive menu on Boxing Day. We tried to cancel the booking to party of 13 as 2 elderly family members were ill. Tried for 2 weeks prior but no one answered the phone! 10 of the 13 diners on the day found the food to be of extremely poor quality (3 course menu and at least 2 courses were really bad, poor turkey (looked and felt wet) and salmon quality (had a funny taste and texture), not to mention steak was more fat and grizzle than steak. Asked if the Manager would come and speak to us as we were not happy, but alas, no, she couldn’t see us as she was too busy! Also told we had to pay £20 for the 2 diners who didn’t arrive (even though they did not answer phone when we tried to cancel for 2 diners 2 weeks earlier)!! All in all, the worst place we have ever been to (and we eat out quite often). Spoilt a family Boxing Day. After a discussion with the waiter telling of our dissatisfaction at the food and the fact the manager would not come and see us, he agreed to pay us £70 (our deposit) back. Still had to pay over £200 though for the food that we could not eat!! The very worst. Whole family disgusted and disappointed with the food and the way this was dealt with. We can now see the reason why there was hardly any cars on the car park and why no one else was eating in there at the time we were there TRULY TERRIBLE IN EVERY WAY. Please do not give this place your money.
