Food is delicious if you get the right order. Sometimes but very rare, you don't get what you order.

Fabulous chip shop I know the owners well they have been looking after this shop for generations really family business. Food portion generous. Staff Friendly. Food always on time when ordered for delivery. Cooks my fish without batter and is delicious. Puts together a perfect gym box Donna meat and salad for me just the way I like it. Nothing is too much trouble. Sending my husband today to fetch a chippy dinner as a treat. Great place highly recommend.

I tried chips and chicken burger it was lovely.

This chip shop is just excellent. Visiting a friend in Dudley, he suggested battered fish and chips. I thought I'll try anything once, and so glad I did. This has to be the best fish and chips I have ever eaten. Please don't be put off as I was, at the thought of battered chips. This is a very thin batter and really did create the perfect crunch on well cooked chips. Most chips I get from chippies are soggy. I am a slow eater, and even these chips are best eaten hot. Had to whack them in the microwave half-way through my dinner. They were still crispy. I will be back!

Absolutely superb. Best battered chips I’ve ever had. A tad expensive if I’m honest, but the quality is there.

Beautiful food and good service

Ordered large fish, they had to cook fresh so was a bit of a wait. I didn't mind this as it meant food was fresh and hot! The guy that served us was really friendly, the other guy didn't seem quite as enthusiastic however. Overall a very good experience. 4/5

Sometimes the chips can be under cooked when there's a rush on or sometimes perfect, it's a gamble every week

It was amazing and came fast I did buy 2 cans of coke and only 1 came but apart from that food was amazing

Unusually is was not great this week, nice fish but the chips were like scratchings. Next visit and the chips were great but unfortunately I thought a cheese and onion pasty would be a nice change: it wasn't. They heat them up in the microwaves and mine finished up tough and soggy - why can't they be kept warm in the range?

Lovely food as always, love how everything is separate like sauces/salad to stop anything going sloppy. Will always use blue submarine never had a bad meal. Thanks!

If I could 0 stars I would . Food came extremely quick and cold and not only that I got sent wrong food . And when I called up to express this they ended call on me and also will not refund me my money . Will not order from these again

delivery was just on time... I am a truck driver so put my location and details to find me on every order never had a problem before tonight but the driver couldn't find me although they wouldn't tell me where they were to try and guide them .. its a shame cause the food from here is brilliant

I don't eat fish and chips often but I really enjoyed my cod and battered chips, curry sauce topped it off perfectly, definitely will be ordering again!

This chip shop is very good, the fish and chips are delicious. The only chip shop that we know of that is open on a Sunday, serving good chips, that is so handy. They also do delivery. We wish it was closer to where we live. 😄 👍❤️

Decided to visit here based on the good reviews but was left slightly disappointed. The main concern was the lack of crispiness of the batter. The batter on the fish was soft and the chips were pale. Overall it tasted ok but that's because I really fancied a chippy. I'd expect more for over £20 for 1 large and 1 medium cod and a large bag of chips with 2 small curry sauce.

Got served straight away. Mini fish and chip special which included a can of pop and a choice of mushy peas/curry sauce. Tasted beautiful. Good value. Bonus they're open on a Sunday evening where most are shut

I found a piece of chicken drumstick skin in my mixed chips and I’m vegetarian. Extremely dissatisfied!

Orange chips. Absolutely lovely. Had normal portion and was well sufficient so very filling.

Curry sauce missing from 1 meal. So annoying when items are missing that have been paid for. I do enjoy the sfc from here, nice tasty, most times its fresh, the odd times it can be dry. Battered chips are nice.

Always order from here and food always amazing. On this order, one item wasn’t complete and I rang restaurant and refund on this item was on my account within few minutes. Please don’t think I’m knocking these guys because I’m not, they always send perfect orders and after many orders, we had one no quite right which was rectified within a few minutes. Perfect food and perfect customer service, which cannot be beaten. Thank you

Since when did you start charging for sauce on a bag of chip. They already cost almost £3 and now charging 40p for a small amount of sauce. Just keeps getting worse at that place

Ordered a delivery. Kebab meat and chips with salad and sauce. Well it arrived and the chips were barley warm ,hardly any kebab meat, the salad was in a plastic bag and the sauce was in a small container, l have never had a kebab like this before it's always been everything on the kebab so the sauce soaks through , never again.

Last few times foods been cold on arrival. Ordered large chips but was the same size as a regular which I’ve ordered last few times. Fish was either overcooked or left under heat for a prolonged time was dry and inedible. For the prices paid I expect better

I’m disgusted with this chip shop said my order was delivered when it wasn’t called me a lier tht I’ve had my food spoke to me terrible and this has happened to a friend of mine from this same chippy so be careful ordering

Disappointed. Had 2 different sizes of fish and the batter was completely different so at least one of them obviously not fresh. Curry sauce watered down - do you think we won't notice? Long time customer so sorry to see the decline in quality. No decline in price though.

Asked for fresh chips got home and just barely warm plus the portion is tiny for 2.99 cost.Second time this has happened.I checked with the guy who served me and he said they were fresh when obviously they were not.Will avoid this chip shop from now on.Not impressed at all and completely overrated reviews.

Great food only issue is not much choice with the salad option as the tick boxes don't work properly ie with the options if you tick onion it won't let you select other veg and if you press lettuce it unticks the onion.

When you Get home to eat your tea to find 4 pice of Donnor meat n some chips asked for medium when to me it’s a small I asked for Donnor burger an chips n was rude about it as when I asked as they don’t do it as meal so instead told them sell me a burger bun never goin bk lost out on 25 qid a week

Fish was lovely , wrap too , kebabs in pitta were disgusting for £8.15 small and hardly any meat , would never have kebab from you again and wouldn't rate it to anyone was not worth the money at all

It says above delivered at 20.40 that is not true I called the shop at 21.01 and was on the phone for 5.5 mins complaining that it hadn’t arrived yet but said delivered. They tried to track driver which they did and couldn’t understand why it had taken him so long as he had left the shop half an hour earlier. When he got here food was stone cold the shop said it would take at least another 45 mins to get replacement food out and that was if they could get a driver as he had finished now. So nothing was done- very disappointed

Rude rude rude service. Put a small portion of chips in for the cost of a large. Called to explain, they hung up, then proceeded to ignore all calls. Twice this has happened. The manager even yelled at the member of staff who treated us this way and apologised. Obviously the manager isn't always there because the staff behave this way when he isn't around. They swear and shout at you as well. They cut the phone line when you repeatedly try to call. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

chips were cold we asked for battered sausages we got plain, they wouldn't correct their mistake, and the kebab came with no salad on it, it was a bag, I had to dismantle the kebab to have salad on it!!! won't be going to them again!!

Thank you all at Blue Submarine. During my husband's recent illness and his stay in hospital. The people of the Blue Sup have kept me going. They are all very polite, kind, friendly. The place is spotless. In my opinion The Blue Sub is the best fish and chips I have ever had.

First visit today. Best roe and chips I've had for years. Highly recommended!

ordered two large mixed kebabs. Had to phone twice to chase the order as it said it was on the way an hour prior and was then marked as delivered but we had not received it. The restraunt told me they had no drivers and accidently clicked the delivery button. Was told it was on the way and I asked if it will be cold and was told no. When we finally received it (thanks for the free pepsi) it was so cold most of it went in the bin as it had gone like rubber. I'm sitting here eating biscuits now.

It was around 15-20 minutes from when I was notified that the food was on its way to the time it actually arrived which meant the food was cold.

Chips was dry kebab had no taste no flavour at all and couple of bits of salad

The staff are always friendly, the place is always clean and the chips are always the best you can find the whole Black Country over.
