Great area for shops and food restaurants plus to my surprise people very friendly! Bus service very good plus uber transport good

Gone for a usual breakfast to be told only people from thr hotel can eat there, weird but won't be back either way

The venue was very good, the food was excellent we had haddock and chips, the fish was one of the best I have had. The smothered Platters were cooked to perfection and the drinks were good. Service was good and the waiting was reasonable though very busy thanks

Had the carvery and the gravy was full of lumps and watery. Carvery meal isn't the greatest without gravy. Did mention this to a waiter and it was a while before something was done about it.

Came here with a friend for birthday treat with free main meal voucher so had a starter and a pudding as well. Staff were very friendly and nice to say the place is shutting in a few weeks. Lots of people are going to miss this place. Staff served the meals nice and hot and the smothered platter is always a favourite of main as it has everything you could want. The bar staff even recommended a wine I hadn't heard of and it was a lovely drink. Could not fault anything.

I came here on the 3rd of june 2024, i had the sirloin steak topped with bbq sauce bacon and cheese. This was priced at an outrageous price for what it was, it was decently sized fair enough but it tastes horrible, i asked for a medium rare and got a well done slab of chewy, tasteless meat. I asked for a jacket potato instead of the chips and received a tiny overcooked hard potato. Which somehow came cold. But on the other side, the staff were perfect, floor and tables were clean. Overall i think 2 stars is right.

Overnight stay in premier inn next door. Friendly welcoming staff at breakfast. Good choice of food. Busy bank holiday Monday but it wasnt a problem as it was well staffed. Heads up in particular for Guy and Tim.

I think you need to advertise if it’s a buffet breakfast or an ordered plated breakfast, as one of our party likes well cooked bacon, another poached eggs, certain restaurants in this chain take your order & it’s cooked fresh, as some it’s a buffet service…. Bacon very fatty & undercooked, no poached eggs as advertised, had to wait for certain food items to be cooked & food & plates were cold once seated. The checking in lady was overly friendly, polite & courteous.

Food, atmosphere and service were all great. Only gave 4 stars as some things on the drinks menu were not available at this branch apparently. If this is true, it's not their fault but perhaps should be crossed off the menu to avoid disappointment.

Cheap and cheerful, but what makes it so brilliant is EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER, I wanna name them all but literally everyone I've ever dealt with there has gone way above and beyond to accommodate. Never had a bad experience. And it's always clean and orderly so just fab all round. I've been for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the staff are consistently brilliant.

I came with friends for a meal out and we had a fab time. Service from phoebe on the bar was brilliant, nothing was too much for her. we will be back soon, thank you !!

I was going to come in and have a pale ale but the front entrance has a smelly bush. It put me off so i went elsewhere for my pale ale and munch.

Really impressed with how Tim and the Brewers Fayre team handled a food order with allergies. Tim was very knowledgeable about allergies and only had to be told what they were (dairy and soya) once. It’s surprising how blasé some restaurants are with allergies but Tim and the team were fully professional and gave us confidence that we were being looked after. There was also a good choice of food (including dessert) leaving our daughter delighted with the experience. The vegan ice cream is the best she’s had yet! Thanks guys

It's good but the drinks machines are down way too much. You pay for service but can't have drink unless it's orange juice when the hot drink machine is down. There's 2 machines so this should be avoidable.

Good honest to goodness full English as much as you can eat £9.99. We eat this regularly as a geo caching group

Had a great family meal for my niece’s birthday. Food was great, prices were good, however the best thing was the service. The lady serving us was fantastic. Pleasant, helpful and even brought out her birthday cake signing ‘happy birthday’. We will definitely be going back.

I came here for lunch and was very impressed. I ordered a lasagne with extra cheese and chef stu did not disappoint ! The cheese pull was unreal … stunning! I will be back soon for my extra cheese lasagne !!

Came here for breakfast yesterday, the food on the buffet was very good especially the hash browns ! Love them <3 The staff were very helpful, even though it was very busy! Would definitely recommend coming here again

Staff were really friendly and ready to serve. Food was well priced, not expensive, and quite a nice choice to meet all tastes. Food was really tasty, it did taste like quality produce. Drinks were as the food, not to expensive and if you prefer soft drinks you can pay a little bit more for the bottom less choice. The only disappointing thing and this is being a bit picky but there were chips on the floor around our table and a fork and spoon also on the floor, it's disappointing because it would have taken seconds to pick them up at the point of clearing the table. In addition the chairs were really dirty see phot. But please don't alow this to be a deciding factor to visiting, as I've said it was a nice restaurant with good food and drink and the staff were good. I will definatly be going back.

Sunday Carvery: Had Beef + Turkey As I had been served a pitiful amount Asked for more Beef Was given a tiny sliver ( end piece ) 😐 Won't be dining here again very often! 😳😵‍💫🤐🥺 £11:49 😳🤐😵‍💫🥺!!!!!!!!!! 🫣

We stayed at the Premier Inn next door and therefore booked for dinner here. The service was good and the meal was delivered quickly. Could not fault it. The only ale was the ubiquitous Doom Bar, which is a shame. They do 2 cocktails for £10, good value and bottles of wine are fairly priced. I had the trio of mini pies and my wife the vegetarian lasagne. We would definitely use again if in the area.

The Service was fabulous and so friendly, super easy to order, , food was outstanding and so hot, so yummy, nice and relaxed atmosphere.

Fantastic hen party meal catered for by the team on Saturday evening, food was spot on! The staff managed by Tim and our waitress Caitlin made us all feel welcome and couldn’t do enough for us xx

Lovely meal, good choice for me as a vegetarian. Kids always enjoy the food and the service was fast. Jess showed us to the table she was quick to replace missing cutlery and wished us a lovely night. She was genuine and smiley and made the visit lovely. We visit regularly and never disappointed.

The staff are friendly and helpful which makes your experience enjoyable and the pub is clean. The food is tasty so we eat there a lot. The Sunday roast lunches are worth visiting for, and I love the Katsu Chicken curry and rice, I like it with chips instead of the rice, and the staff will cater for you if you ask them.

Family of five, the food was lovely but not as described. Spare ribs were described as bbq but actually were dry with a spicy rub on them- still enjoyable.

Had a meal at your brewers fayre, the huge booking for 30 people for my Husbands 40th birthday. Just want to say a massive thank you to your team and a special big shout out to Emily, the night ran so smoothly and we were so impressed with the service and timings of everything, given it being mother's day and knowing how busy you were. We really appreciate you making it a great night for us. Thanks again 🙂

Very welcoming, staff went out of their way to meet our needs. Big shout out to Tim on the front of house ( what a great people person) and Rowan doing his magic in the kitchen.

Absolutely amazing service. Arrived late from kent for work in dudley and were staying in the premier inn in stourbridge and have the meal deal with mains and breakfast and the dinner we had was incredible. Im a picky eater and Tim the manager went above and beyond to get it perfect and hassle free for me. And Rowan the chef makes a banging burger and chicken starter. Highly recommend. And to top it off the manager knowing we are leaving before breakfast opens tomorrow made us a a plate each of pastry items and some bread n butter so we get the full experience! Top guys can't wait for dinner Tomorrow. Love the atmosphere and It's left a lasting positive impression!

Went today for lunch. All I can say is if we had been on our own I would have left. I has chicken and it look really unappetising the chips looked as if they had been cooked a few times the garlic bread was whiter than white. Did not enjoy at all nor did one of our gussets. Real shame as we go often .

Staff overworked so food/drinks machines not replenished quickly enough. Food not to a great standard and luke warm at best. Better places locally

Travelled down from Brighton for the weekend with family and 2 young children in tow. Popped into here for dinner for our main meals to take over 2 hours to arrive !? When we questioned. It they said oh it’s a 45 minute wait ( we was not told this when we ordered ) finally all the meals came out although 2 were 10 minutes after the rest of the table. They offered complementary desserts as an apology… perfect very kind of them … we had paid for little one to have a fruit salad with her kids deal so this was ordered with main meals. All deserts took over 30 mins to come out so we spent a total of just over 3 hours in a pub …. As you can imagine keeping 2 young ones intertained wasn’t easy. And why did it take over 30 mins to warm up some chocolate pudding and chuck togther some fruit which is most likely pre cut !? Service overall just wasn’t there. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be rushing back.

Under cooked steak over cooked onion rings just batter no onion inside over cooked egg solid no yolk bacon was like a scratching on plate chicken WELL say nomore if i didnt pay before we eat i wouldn't have paid at all

One of the few places with a Sunday carvery and a standard menu so something for everyone. Staff are very kind to our son taking into account his special needs.

We came for a last minute carvery, after reading the reviews we decided to give it a go. I’m vegetarian so had the meat free chicken option and was told it would be brought over to my table in 5 mins, after waiting 15/20 minutes I went up and queried this with a young brunette girl. She disappeared and then came back over to me and just said “what did you just say” I explained again but it was very obvious it had not been sorted. While I was waiting for them to bring my meat free alternative out my partner was stood waiting for the chef to come and cut the meat for 10 minutes. While we were waiting other customers were coming back up to have fresh dinners done as the gravy they had poured on their dinners was stone cold! Apparently the gravy heater hadn’t been turned on! While there was a que of 6/7 people waiting for the chef to come and carve the meat the young girl who I had previously spoken to was just stood behind the counter just giggling into her drink , there was no I’m sorry about this the chef will be back in a minute she just said nothing! Finally my dinner came out and I helped myself to the veg. The food was okay not the worse I’ve had however they were a bit stingy on the meat portions for my partner. Having worked in a pub myself for many years I understand that sometimes everything can just go wrong all at once maybe due to staffing issues or technical issues in kitchens etc! But I think customer service still needs to be delivered especially when things are going wrong behind the scenes unfortunately we felt like the staff were just rude. I think it was the young girls comment which topped it off, I felt like I was asking something ridiculous when all I was after was my food! Maybe it was just an off day but we definitely wouldn’t rush back anytime soon.

The staff were all lovely and very accommodating, it was easy to see it was a very busy evening with till issues included but they still kept professional and very smiley throughout my couple of hours there, especially Emily! Thank you to the team great job! I will come back for my next work trip here

Family meal to celebrate a birthday. Lovely food & desserts, arrived within a good time. Friendly service :) would definitely recommend.

Not a great deal of choice left at 4.15 on the Sunday carvery but what we had meat & veg wise was some of the best carvery food we have had locally for quite a while. Only downside is when the sell out what’s cooked has gone the carvery closes but the normal menu meals look very good & substantial

I stop here quite regularly, meeting friends to go to gigs. It’s well laid out with a generous bar area, breakfast is great and the spicy chicken wings definitely do what they say, well worth a try

Great breakfast, food was hot, fresh and tasty, bacon and sausages were cooked perfectly, even the toaster got my toast just right, it was busy but they still we didn't have to queue for long, good service.

Never really faulted brewers, i think this one especially has a great layout and everything it kept clean and tidy. We came for the valentines menu, they asked for allergies which one had. The food was well presented and tasted as well as expected. Tim, Ethan, Kathleen and Keira all were so welcoming to us and made us feel happy to be here. We were sat at 18:45, ordered by 7, starters 15 mins later, mains 25 after that and desserts not long after. Couldn’t fault it.

Visited on Friday 2nd February with my husband. We both had the battered haddock meal. Fish was perfectly cooked and chips were also very good. Friendly and helpful staff. Top marks.

Regular visitors as a couple. But came as a Family of 5. Spur of the moment decision to go out for something to eat. All of our meals were very good and enjoyable. Excellent value for money.

The service here is way to slow wait nearly 2 hours for food when the place was really quiet. When the food finally did come it was cold. Would not go again
