Absolutely amazing service this evening for a family birthday celebration. Thank you to Tasha who was a lovely server. Very attentive, friendly and made us all feel very welcome. Thanks again Tasha! Me and my family will definitely be returning again for another meal. Food was good quality and came out fast, even though it was very busy tonight.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here tonight. As usual the food was excellent, with a great selection of meals to choose from. Our server Amy was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Two people in our group have gluten intolerance and Amy was able to advise us on which foods were safe for them to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back very soon. Started the day off with a nice breakfast experience with my family. I have a nut allergy, Maggie our waiter was attentive and made sure I was safe to eat without any worries. She was also polite, asked if we wanted refills and everything was perfect from our big order. Would definitely come again.

Didn't make a reservation so we sat at the bar but still ordered like normal. Whilst waiting for food we ate from the unlimited salad bar with plenty of options. The food was delicious and filling. For the pudding we had a kid portion of Belgian chocolate brownie which was nice and rich, better if it had a small portion of ice-cream. The brownie took a while to come out even though we asked twice. Overall delicious food and would come here again.

The staff were great. The food was what you would expect. Good all round family fun.

Great food my steak was cooked to perfection, staff were friendly but did get our drinks order wrong as they were busy and rushing around trying to serve too many people at once. Good place to go for food and a drink.

Simply Chicken - they season it there , and Kingswinford and Droitwich don’t . Also The staff ran by Mitch are great ! Maggie, Sarah, Sam, Dee, Tanya and Lizzy are who I normally see at lunch. A credit to the place.

We have visited The Foxhunt many times and always request a certain table when booking. Weve never had a bad experience, big shout out to Lucy. She goes above and beyond and we absolutely love having her serving us. Nothing is ever too much and always wants to go that extra mile. Absolutely star and a credit to the restaurant. She is one of the reasons we keep returning.

Maggie was extremely helpful and very cheerful, made our afternoon very enjoyable.

A firm favourite of our family, especially the salad bar and our four year old grandson is a new convert. Good range of meals with very efficient service and our waitress looked after us brilliantly and food was served hot. I thought I would try the Rainbow Burger which was 'different' to say the least, and may have it again. Although we ate fairly early, the restaurant was busy, and meals were coming out quickly, so credit to the whole kitchen staff. More than happy to go back again soon as they do offer a good dining experience. The menu has been updated slightly so choices for Vegan tastes as well.

Great for their Chicken Tuesday offer at the moment for £8. This one could do with a refurb

Visited Harvester ib Halesowen for the first time in a decade. They had just reintroduced a chicken Tuesday offer, and it was the end of 50% off mains, which generates business in January. The place was packed to the rafters. Service was impacted, and we waited 20 mins to place our order and another hour for our food. Thank goodness for the salad bar and refillable sift drinks. Slow service aside, waiting staff were polite and the food was great and the prices were very reasonable. The bread rolls were too cold, but when serving so many it's too much to expect.

The whole team here is fantastic, but there’s one star who truly shines brighter than a freshly polished teapot — Dee! Friendly, efficient, and somehow always in the right place at the right time with a tea refill, she’s the breakfast queen of Harvester. Dee is a legend, a local treasure, and — rumour has it a secret Morris dancer by night. Yes, folks, while others are binge-watching Netflix, Dee is out there at local country pubs jingling and hopping like a true English icon. And let’s not forget her astonishing collection of vintage beach balls — because who doesn’t need a hundred inflatable spheres in their life? With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I wouldn’t be surprised if a mysterious, delighted regular (cough cough) sends her a cheeky little card. After all, anyone who can juggle breakfast plates and keep a room laughing deserves a little appreciation! So, if you’re looking for top-tier service, a brilliant breakfast, and the chance to meet a Morris-dancing, beach-ball-hoarding legend, get yourself down to the Halesowen Harvester. Visited during a very busy period on a Sunday early evening. Tables were clean and well presented, the low ambient lighting at our table was lovely. Waitress was very friendly and helpful when asking about deserts as our eldest child is autistic he likes to have things in a certain way and they were very accommodating with this. It is very helpful having things like beans and sauces in separate pots as this can be a real issue for neurodivergent people. The food itself was nice, priced appropriately. A few of our party had steak options and did comment that the meat was quite chewy with a lot of gristle. The deserts really shone though, and the option for the children’s build their own sundae was a lovely addition.

Food was well cooked but not too hot when delivered. I had the steak. But was disappointed when told there was no English Mustard to go with it. Table area could have done with a clean. Someone couldn't hit their mouth with the chips.

I've struggled to even give a 3 star today. The only positive was that we hadn't booked a table, so we're offered the bar area. After that, it went downhill. We waited almost an hour for our order, and I had to chase them up for that. We had our 14 month old granddaughter with us. We had to find the baby chairs and when she understandably started to get restless, I was walking around with her and spotted the only means of entertainment, namely to let her hit a few keys on the gambling machine. That was the only time the staff took any notice of us. I was sharply told that she wasn't allowed to 'play' the machines as she was under 18. Then we waited about another 15 minutes and I asked about the order, pointing out that my granddaughter was getting restless. I was sullenly told again that my 14 month old granddaughter was not allowed to play the machine. I pointed out that there was nothing for children to do, whereupon I was told to go to the front desk and ask for children's colouring items which hadn't been offered to us on arrival. While writing this, I notice that another child is just sitting playing with the menus. In conclusion, can I make the following suggestions:- It was only 5pm and most of the salad items had gone. We had to ask for bowls and cutlery We were virtually ignored in the bar area and had to chase up everything. I dislike leaving a negative review, but, with the price of dining out being at such a premium, I feel we deserved better

I've been a big fan of the Harvester for as far back as I can remember, despite the contantly yo-yoing standards I've experienced over the past several years. In particular I've used the Foxhunt on many occasions as it's fairly local to me. But I'll resolutely never eat at There again, or any Harvester for that matter. Why? Regardless of the empty salad bowls at the salad cart, the lack of sauces, the stale bread, and for the first time ever my wife being unable to eat her salad because in her words it was drier than sand (it wasn't even busy in there), it is because I've never been treated with such disrespect in all my life. I ordered the original combo, leavingt my chicken until last to eat. As I cut into it near the wing there was blood along the bone. I wish I'd taken a photo of the chicken now to highlight just how bloody it was when I cut into it but it was never my intention to make a fuss, splash it across social media, and the waitress whipped the plate away as quickly as possible. Then Emma the waitress just left us sat at the table. There was no apology from her when I showed her the blood in the chicken, there was no apology from her when I eventually flagged her down so I could pay the bill, and there was certainly no apology from a duty Manager. When she came back with the card machine, she would only look at my wife and refused to acknowledge me until I presented my card to the machine and then she looked at me with a sneer, as if it was some elaborate ploy to avoid paying the bill. She's obviously assumed that I'd smuggled an identical piece of chicken into the restaurant but undercooked, or I've bought in a syringe of blood and injected it into the meat. The blood was there for all to see. I even told her discreetly, without any fuss, and without directing any malice or ill intent towards her. A courtesy I'm sure many other customers in my position wouldn't have paid her. In fact there were four ladies on the table next to me who were less than happy with their taco's, left them all, complained heavily, then left. I complained to head office and received an email from "The Foxhunt management team" offering a half hearted apology, an excuse for all terrible sevice we'd experienced that night, and that I was mistaken about the blood. Apparantly it wasn't blood in the chicken but a bit of redness on the bone. What a load of rubbish! I've eaten plenty of chicken off the bone with that redness they were describing, it's always a dull red that's just the colour of the bone. This was bright red and liquid. It was blood simple as. That chicken would have made me quite ill if I'd consumed it If you want a restaurant with mediocre food, poor service, and staff that treat paying customers with utter contempt, then this is your go to place, otherwise steer well clear!

Booking for 7.30pm.... came to take our order and have bowls for the salad bar... very sparce... had to ask for butter for the minimal bread rolls that were there and also had to ask for plates.. Meal was OK.... restaurant and especially toilets were freezing cold.... had to sit in our coats to eat our food and went outside for a vape and the outdoor heaters weren't working... overall not a pleasant experience at all....

Unfortunately at the time we’d booked, 4 p.m., they didn’t have any rotisserie chickens cooked and they wouldn’t be ready for an hour… this was the only reason we came to the Harvester. I ordered a sirloin steak instead (wanted a ribeye but they didn’t have any). The sirloin was cooked properly - no criticism of the chef, however the steak itself was not good quality and quite tough and tasteless. There was no sauce with it either so whole meal was dry. There was only one poor waitress on for most of our time there and she coped admirably however this is not tenable for a well run, successful restaurant business. We won’t rush back to this Halesowen Harvester.

Walked in yesterday. Asked for table for 4. Placed right by entrance. Asked if we could move as it was very cold. Was told ‘no’! I said the restaurant is half full, can I sit elsewhere. Again was told no (with an apology!) I said we were leaving. I was asked if I would like to speak with manager. I thought this was pointless so left. Went to Pizza Hut instead. Kids enjoyed that at least.

We are regular visitors to the fox hunt my meal was great but my wife had chicken stack which she always has and has always been very satisfied however we had to call waitress due to the fact her meal was not warm enough its apity as we always enjoy it will not stop us from going again

Nooo I will never go back to this harvester , was greeted with who I think was the Manager . Had no patience wasn’t polite it was all too much for him !!! There was only bits of food in salad trolley , which looked like it had been there a long time . There was no bread cobs , was told they hadn’t had a delivery. At same time was laughing ( which I don’t find funny when your paying for food ) food came after long time put in front of us , there was no presentation with this . Didn’t eat it all ( wasn’t best cooked ) was asked if food was ok after two minutes of it being served to our table 🙈did tell the young waitress , who came to collect the plates with the food all on . She could see what we was saying was right and apologised and she said would get the managers come over to speak to us . But the manager was too busy speaking to customer about New Year’s Eve ( that had go ) we payed bill and came away. This harvester needs a good clean up with its staff !! It’s also dirty .very very disappointing

Food was very disappointing & cold when it finally arrived, there were sides missing my salad was also missing. This was my choice of a meal takeaway as my daughter was treating me to a Mothers Day Meal. I tried ringing twice and just rang out I rang a 3rd time and was asked to leave a message with my name n number and would get A call back but still no telephone call back

We've been visiting the Foxhunt for many years with family. Out of all the Harvester restaurants we've visited over the years, the Foxhunt is by far the best. The food is consistently good and the staff are lovely without exception.

We had a table booked for 7.30 for my partners birthday waited 20 mins for salad bowles to walk to the salad bar completely empty asked 2 waiting staff to see if any more coming out then went asked the manager to ask if it can be toped up took another 15 mins then the main was there before the salad bar was ready

First time back here for many years. Family Christmas get together. Ended up being moaned at because we didn’t order a large drinks order fast enough (in a nearly empty bar). Very unprofessional bar staff and manager. Cannot understand why pubs employ people who clearly do not want to be there . Completely ruined a family get together at Christmas.

The restaurant was very busy. We were seated and Lizzie took out order. Lizzie was lovely, professional, efficient and dealt with us in a very cheerful manner. We warmed to her immediately and although we could see she was running around and extremely busy, her attitude and efficency was exemplary. Well done Lizzie, you are a star. If you’re going to dine here and get told to sit by the bar area, don’t bother. Both times I’ve visited, this has been the case and the wait for service has been far too long. Ordered from the festive menu, half of the things out of stock so had to make last minute changes. Wait for food was ridiculous that we ended up leaving without having the desert we paid for. Won’t be returning unfortunately.

Food is typical pub grub. Promptly served with very friendly staff. Maximum effort has been made to observe social distancing and they are doing very well considering the constraints of current regulations.

Maggie did a fantastic job of looking after us at the Santa experience and was very kind in managing our food requests. She made it very special. Well done harvester for your staff who make the whole experience. Although Santa is definitely looking younger !

I have a very serious food allergy. The Manager at this restaurant was extremely helpful and went to great lengths to make sure the food I ordered was safe. As this is a matter of 'life and death', you would think that all restaurants would take this kind of care but sadly, this is not my experience. Well done to the Harvester management and staff for your allergen policies, training and diligence.
