The best restaurants in South Yardley Birmingham West Midlands

So i have only tried the spicy dipped burger. And it is probably the best in birmingham!. Especially with price factored. I.e food vs price. The reason(s) it has 2 stars knocked off is as follows: 1. I called this place a few times and i just get an automated message after a few dials. This has happened for 2 saturdays in a row too. 2. On a late night either friday/saturday, i ended up driving there in the early hours. Since they didnt answer the phone again. At the time the closing time for that day was 3am as per what it states on google. I was there around 2.15-2.30am. The shop was closed although lights were on. 3. I have also ordered via Uber eats one of the weeks and i wanted to amend/pay for more items but had no way of contacting them. So yeah overall good food, frustrating service. Not helping yourselves.

Gone downhill very rapidly, no wonder there always empty now. Brought couple burgers, tasted bland and tasteless. Found a staple (yes the ones they use to staple there paper bags and receipt on too). Called to let them know to be extra vigilant (stated didn't want anything, just letting you know). Had an extremely rude staff (guessing one of those cleaners) tell me its not possible and then cut the line. How can it not be possible when you clearly staple the bags in the same area you're cooking the food. Can't see the business last long, better quality of food around the area

Asian lad on the till has a severe attitude problem. Seems he needs a change of career if he dislikes it so much. Very rude. Seemed to cry after I asked about the lack of toilet facilities even though by law it is a requirement if there’s over seating for 10, which this establishment has seating for 26. Poor attitude. Poor service. Think his Mrs left him for the postman. He said it is okay to drink toilet water after refusing to provide drinking water. Poor hygiene and attitude from the young man.

Although got my order slightly wrong. They were quick to deliver the correct items without hesitation. Dhansak was delicious. Chicken tikka tasty. Rice was cooked to perfection. Every grain separated. I would definitely order again. Thank you.

Went in for some donner meat and chips the portion size was decent but the food was weird the meat felt smelt off and was hot but hard and rubbery in taste the fries were good fries standard fries but taste off I had to to bin the food

Popped in for a coffee, and hot chocolates for the kids. Really welcoming staff. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

The prices are a bit on the higher side, and unfortunately, the Arabic bread was quite dry. The garlic sauce lacked that authentic mayonnaise taste. I think the food has potential for improvement, and the pricing could definitely be more reasonable. £8 felt a bit too steep for what was offered.
