Costa Coffee in Birmingham

Popped in for a coffee, and hot chocolates for the kids. Really welcoming staff. Nice relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely place especially the staff so friendly and helpful

toastie ruined pushed into incorrect package screwed up so badly it could not be straitened out to eat. No hazelnut and no sugar in coffee! this has happend twice now something needs to be done to sort it out. expensive for quality of delivery.

have had about four delivery s from Costa coffee now and food always hot coffee always hot no complaints thankyou. as I am disabled this is always a treat for me.

Ordered 4 items, been charged and only 3 items turned up.

Lovely staff, though clearly there are staffing problems as clearing stacks up a lot. Don't recommend AT ALL if you need to use internet there. No data signal and no WiFi. This has been the case for years now and nothing is ever done to improve the situation. Not the staffs fault.

The ladies serving were openly chatting about their work hours. Everyone can hear it. It was slowing them down. The staff who was taking my order, kept talking over me. I told her 4x to put 2 chocolate cookies but she didn't at the end of all that. She was rude. My kids felt uncomfortable. My kids refuse to go to this Costa now. Its a shame as they are my local. Staff need more training on customer service. Poor service.

Toastie was cold and hard not good at all

We were treated really well by Tab and Jamie costa at the swan yardley. They made us feel very comfortable. They both worked as a team both very polite and cheerful. We even stayed for the second drink tab and Jamie are a credit to Costa.

Nice to catch up with an old friend

I came here Saturday and Sharun Was very rude and also didn’t seem like she wanted to be there nor looked like she knew what she was doing, made me feel very uncomfortable. I wouldn’t go again.

One thing about this store is that they never give what i order. Third time ordering and i’m always sent an alternative, for the love of God if something isn’t available then put it as out of stock and do NOT send an alternative. Maybe at least notify us beforehand? Ordering a cinnamon bun and instead recieving RAISIN pastries? Are you serious? Also, the drinks have got to be the worst i’ve tasted, the hot chocolate always tastes like 99% milk and 1% chocolate. Very last time i’ll be ordering from here.

Coffee spilled all over food in bag

Just such a disappointment! Forgot our Teacake and gave us both oat milk rather than cow's by mistake. Very basic seating that flows into the shopping centre and feels very cold and bleak.

The worst coffee is there, got hard pain in my stomach.

This is a great Costa. Ideal location inside the shopping centre. Always good coffee, toastie and cake and plenty of places to sit. Ground floor so great for wheelchair users with a lovely wide entrance.

Only bought one breakfast wrap.

The one thing you can rely on is that the coffee at Costa is always good, although today was a hot chocolate kinda day.

No straws for the drinks, but disappointing

this is the best coffee ive had. the speed and quality is perfect !!! super work lads n ladies !!! will be ordering again and again and being gluten free and dairy free im sooo happy with my coconut milk toffee latte clearly marked up for me keep up the great work !!!!!

Food and coffee arrived 10 minutes, very impressive.

No whipped cream, the drink that was a frappe was not thick lol a frappe, just milky.

Amazing customer service, the nice staff really went out of their way for me and my 11 month baby girl. It was busy and they went to make sure there was a table available before I ordered my food, then the nice lady behind the counter went and got a high chair for me, disinfected beforehand and brought it to my table, and then even helped me move tables when I wanted to swap to a different spot in the branch. Lovely people and made the experience so much better.

Standard Costa fare. Ok coffee at premium prices. This particular one gets a minus star for Big Bird the mardy server .

Drink had a hole in the bottom of one of the hot drinks. No indication of an alt milk on the ice drink no chocolate sprinkles on the hot chocolate either. For a actual costa it’s not very good

Low staffed. First time at this branch. 2 ladies overworked and were huffing and puffing telling all customers that its been 3 of them on all day and they should close the eating in area sooner

Been coming here every so often for the past couple of years and never had a negative experience. Drinks are always on point, staff are always friendly and efficient, and it's kept very clean. My favourite Costa branch to go to.

The 3 meals were really stale, hard to eat and the bread was rock hard. Really disappointed.

Staff start closing the cafe 15 min prior to closing time, they give you a cold look if you enter to buy coffee even if it’s 5min remaining as they’ve cleaned up!

Lovely staff really helpful. Good coffee and food and cosy seating. Many use their laptops in the coffee shop. In a mall with lots of shops.

Pleasant plaza cafeteria, stimulating yet relaxing within a busy shopping environment.

Really friendly staff, spoke to the barista, mentioned I'd forgotten my login to the app as it had logged me out, he mentioned take the receipt and add it later. Which I was surprised as I didn't think Costa allowed that. But was good to know and nice of the employee to mention as not all employees do.

My order arrived under 10 minutes early but I am ok with that.

More then once i have been for a coffee , the music was so loud no way could i relax and have a read of the morning papers , i wonder is this away of making drink it fast and leave ? next please

Friendly service and good coffee. I had an iced latte with biscoff vegan cheesecake and the cheesecake was especially nice.

Should rename these places "Costa Fortune!!" Over £34 for 5 drinks & 5 slices of pretty bland banana cake is extortionate!!

Good quality, friendly delivery no mistakes

We enjoy visiting Costa for the relaxation of sitting with a nice drink and a toastie in a nice setting. Lots of people come regularly. The staff are friendly and efficient. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy but the overall atmosphere makes up for that. Costa appeals to all ages and we are happy to visit regularly. Thanks Costa!

Don't listen to what they are told by customers

I came down 18:35 and I was rudely told by the old gentleman with long hair that he was not making any more cold drink even though the customers before me were served with their cold drinks. The store closes at 7 so I don’t know why I was refused to have a cold drink.

I ordered 2 medium coffee and 1 large and 3 medium coffee was delivered

I had a coffee and it was great and great seating layout.

Missing item from order. I ordered a coffee , a brownie and a lemon tart . The lemon tart was missing from the order. I'm not happy because it's not a complicated order. There are only 3 items in the order.
