Sami’s Spice in Birmingham

Went in for some donner meat and chips the portion size was decent but the food was weird the meat felt smelt off and was hot but hard and rubbery in taste the fries were good fries standard fries but taste off I had to to bin the food

Good prices, good food, good service

We had a full English breakfast at Sami's Spice. The interior of the restaurant was nice but it took around 30 minutes to be served. The first thing I noticed was that the egg wasn't the runny type of egg that you would usually get with an English breakfast. The egg was cold and tasteless. The only taste you could get was of the yolk and that was only slight. The sausage was alright (as well as the hash brown) but the strip of turkey bacon wasn't crispy and was too chewy. The beans were cold and tasted disgusting. Even when paired with the toast it tasted terrible. The toast just was like ordinary bread with butter. The atmosphere was quiet and somehow grim. Overall I wouldn't advise you to go here.

I would highly recommend Sami's. The food is fresh, non greasy, cooked to perfection, and the staff are lovely! It's my new favourite place to eat.

Home delivery was excellent food was hot my son loved chicken tikka in naan my hobby loved the lamb meat curry every thing was perfect I would recommend to customers and friends definitely will order again the food was so tasty boom😉

Definitely not as good as the reviews make it sound. Maybe I'll give them one more chance by eating in next time. The spicy omelette wasn't impressive, turkey rashers were over cooked and the nihari wasn't a lamb shank, just two big bones with sauce - but was tasty despite the overzealous oil,.

Amazing tradional food and customer service...family run business looking out for families choices. Definitely will be returning

Food was nice and thats what matters but wish i could say the same for the service. My food was literally made and sitting on the warmer i paid and waited for it to be given to me but the girl on the counter just went back on her phone. I had to highlight my food was ready to which she did not even apologise she literally did not care it was shocking. Again thank god the food was good

Just finished nihari and couldn't stop myself from coming here and giving a feedback, been looking for authentic nihari in Birmingham for a while, but most of the times ended up in disappointment as restaurants here make anything but nihari in the name of it, so ordered this time from Sami's scepticaly but to my pleasant surprise finally found what I was looking for, absolutely delicious Nihari, tasted so good that I ate more than what I should have :) definitely recommended place for the Nihari fans

Tried their channa and halwa with puri. Best I've had. Family absolutely loved it, i don't usually eat halwa but i ate the whole portion. The brother at the counter was very friendly and they have a large menu. I will definitely be going again to try other food.

The shop looks very tidy with good deco. Brilliant food with good customer service.

Terrible place. They claim to Muslims. Muslims don't spike your food . May Allah swt curse them. And then she kind of gives you smurky smile like she's given me good food expecting a compliment.

Food was excellent as was the service .

Excellent taste, Nehari, Naan, Saag Prathy, Halwa puri and desi Tea was superb. Highly Recommended.

Been here a few times, mostly for breakfast & the food is absolutely delicious. Has a full on home touch to everything severed. Service is top class too. Very polite & professional. Aminah is fantastic at customer service, always smiling & such a cheerful person. Staff is cherry on cake at Sami’s.

Sami's spice food is beyond delicious a bit pricey but defo worth the price food is always on point and cooked very throughly and seasoned very well the service there is great and are very friendly I mean to put 5 stars but for sum reason it keeps popping up as 1 star

Been in several times now and working our way through the breakfast menu. Everything we have had has been excellent. Also had takeaway pizzas and the chicken and rice. So so nice.

Not just peri peri chicken. Ever growing menu, great breakfasts, I recommend the lamb nihari, melt in the mouth lamb shank , ideal with a naan or paratha. Flavoursome. Curries and masala fish are now available too. A relaxing sit down meal,takeaway also available. 3 good quality 8" pizzas for under a tenner is great value .

This place is amazing I can't believe there's a place like this next to where I live which does fresh clean food me and my brother fancied something to eat very sceptical of where we eat. But I got to say the chicken is so mouth-watering it's unbelievable if you want good honest clean food and I'll foldable price it's your go to place and also the guy Behind the Counter is really helpful and friendly.

Ordered full chicken, spicy rice and salad... Well what can I say what a disappointment paid £2.00 for salad... What salad there was hardley anything in box, then the chicken was awful the chicken is suposed to be grilled what I got was steamed chicken with samis special sauce slapped on top no evidence of it being grilled.... Whats the point of doing up a place that looks good if the food is not up to standard.

Pizza taste is on spot as it should be. Lovely place for a quick bite. More offers on Pizza’s would be great 😊 please consider duo pizza offers as well Thanks

An amazing place to dine in. A variety of many great different food items and lovely beverages (halal of course). Would dine in 24/7. It also has breakfast options. And if you don’t like dining in there is delivery too.

Food was amazing and staff and service were friendly, however i recommend putting the menu online and creating menu leaflets

What a shambles of a place! Avoid avoid avoid! We requested nans not to be thick and that was ignored, they were super thick and uncooked! Spoke to the manager who said he will get them replaced, hour later nothing! Rang back and spoke to a lady who said she doesn't know who I spoke to as the manager is not available now! So unhelpful and rude! People be warned as they are very unprofessional and unhelpful.

Very good food, awesome delicious and mouth watering Curry dishes. I have had Nihari & paiye from this shop, along with some soft delicious naan.This is the go to place for breakfast. The communication with the staff has been excellent, who are very polite and helpful. The restaurant/shop decor is nice and has an intimate feel, great ideal place to take the family. Haroon

Took my family to eat at Sami's. Kids loved the food, service was excellent and price was very reasonable. I would personally recommend the Gourmet Burger. Will definitely ordering again.

From London so 3 extra large pizzas at £21.99 is a ridiculous price, had to triple check before I ordered, bonus was that the pizzas were very good and customer service was great too, happy days.

The breakfast was absolutely exquisite. Excellent customer service and the presentation was beautiful. I would definitely recommend anyone to come and try the breakfast. It’s definitely value for money I will most definitely be trying the other items on the menu.

Today went for breakfast with my husband and ordered to full English breakfasts and when I tell u the food was the biggest disappointment iv had in a very long time. Something as simple as English breakfast is not that hard to mess up, the toast was hard and unbuttered. When asked for butter they said it dosent come with the meal. The hash browns were undercooked as well as the sausage tasting cheap. Let me not even get started on how sad the French toast looked and tasted. The cappuccino looked like something I would get from Amazon warehouse and that is not a compliment I tell u that. The staff even didn’t bother to ask how the food or service was. For a place that’s just recently opened, the service and food should not been at this standard.
