Amazing delicious food here. If you want to eat authentic desi food then this is the place. Amazing taste and felt like eating at home. It really satisfied our soul. We frequently come here for Hilsa fish curry meal and mouthwatering sweets. Highly recommend this place 👏👏😊❤️

One of the restaurants I go nowadays regularly with my friend. Food quality is good, prices are affordable. I haven't tried any authentic Bengali food from there yet, but the normal South Asian foods are nice.

Food was lovely, totally different from what we was used to, yet tasty and fresh. We also got a free dish to try also which was lovely. The place has a lovely atmosphere, clean and spacious. Service from all staff we came across were fabulous and had a lovely friendly experience afternoon.Thank you.

Lovely homely traditional Bengali food and the best service! Highly recommend this place, made to feel like you’re part of the family. Try the khala bhuna! Very good price points too.

Had an event today 15th September and the food was as amazing as it always is. It must be the 30th time we have been there with family events and they never fail to amaze us with their delicious food. The moong daal with meat hit the spot!

Good quality food and reasonably priced. Special mention to Imran for his excellent customer service skills. The downside is listening to the manager/supervisor bashing his staff over orders etc.

Great service, and food! At first I was hesitant, and unsure of what to order, as I had not previously been there before. But a waiter called Raju, went beyond and above to make my first dining experience there enjoyable! He had great knowledge of the menu, and enthusiastically described the dishes, sharing personal recommendations aswell such as the tandoori biryani. Which I very much enjoyed!

My business partner and I had a great experience with the food and staff a month ago. So this Sunday I took my family hoping for the same. Unfortunately it was a complete turn around, part of my order didn't arrive at the table towards the end, I ordered tawa roti and got tandoori roti, they corrected it. Food was ok. Service was below par, I never once received an apology, even though there was a manager/owner walking around in a karvat. Very friendly first time (different manager)total difference now. Back to the drawing board looking for a regular once a month family treat

Quite a mixed experience. To be honest I am regular here for Bangladeshi sweets/mishti. Few times I had launch and breakfast also. Overall, the food quality was good overall given that we dont have many choices for Bangladeshi curry and vegetables in Birmingham. Specially their beef curry was good. Their atmosphere and staff were excellent. However, recently had their shutki bhorta and kochur loti which were awful. Their quality of food has gone down significantly. Been victim of sour yoghurt in the name of sweet / mishti dahi/doe/yogurt. They refunded the money. Overall wouldnt recommend if you want Bangladeshi flavour in the food, until they improve significantly.

Visited this Restaurant with some Brumians and I must say I was left underwhelmed. Upon entering, the staff just blanked us and we somewhat felt unwelcomed. We were very close to walking out, but thankfully (for them) their Gaffa spotted us and asked his staff to seat us. The food itself was ok, the waiting time wasn't too bad. The service after this was pretty decent. A word to Management. I understand you're open for long hours and your staff maybe a tad overworked, but all customers deserve a decent service. We are the ones who pay their wages. More front of house training is required for your staff members.

Mishti Desh on Lozells: We absolutely inhaled the fish pakoras. The smash burgers were SMASHING! And to top it off the keema paratha (Katlama) was divine with the chilli sauce. I would highly recommend 😍

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool & the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about. They can make customer happy by their highest behaviour and customer is their main priority. Food is pretty good, bangali food like chitol kufta, biriyani, tarka daal and their chomchom is best and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

I have been to two weddings where Mishti-desh have catered and if I could give zero stars I would. They need to learn how to cook their chicken, my mum can give them free lessons if they want to save people’s stomachs! At one wedding, they told guests not to eat the chicken and started taking the plates away and a recent wedding that I went to, we cut into the chicken and we knew it was raw. The daal was burnt and my throat burnt too. The vegetable curry was still crunchy, I might as well have eaten from the packet! I’ll give credit where it’s due, they gave some nice canapés, but they lost me after they served the starters. They are a money making business by selling gone off and uncooked food and it’s terrible. Never book these people if you want save your money, tastebuds and stomach!

Have been using Mishtidesh catering for years, always the best quality food that tastes amazing. The service is always on par and they offer a wide range of Bangladeshi dishes as well as sweets.

On the 28th Dec Swansea, we ordered catering from Misthi Desh for a wedding, and their food was absolutely delicious and everybody complimented all dishes mashallah. They arrived with the food on time, and the service was brilliant, with waiters being very attentive. I would deffo order from here again, and Kamran Bhai who was dealing with our order was very helpful and efficient mashallah. Thank you very much Jazakallah khair :)

We went as a family of 5 this evening and the food was great! We had 2 kebabsish plates , smash burgers and the panini alongside a mixed grill. Food was 5 star and service was brilliant. The girls are so pleasant and the staff are very inviting and welcoming. This will now be our regular eat out place!

Excellent food and service. Compared to other places in the area the prices are very reasonable. All meats were nicely cooked and tender, the presentation of the dishes was first class. Service was quick and efficient and always attentive. Note that the dishes are cooked in a Bangladeshi style so the sauces will be thicker and more flavoursome than your usual asian eatery. Highly recommended.

I was very impressed with the overall experience at this restaurant. Outstanding service, amazing tasty food which caters for everyone. From drinks to desserts the presentation was beautifully presented and consistent throughout all the course of our meal. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The interior decor of the restaurant is what creates that calm , relaxing ambiance feel to it.

Mishtidesh catered my mehndi and wedding and all the guests commented on how tasty the food was and enjoyed the tea. They were very helpful in the planning of the wedding food and even catered for my brother who was lactose and gluten intolerant. I couldn't recommend them enough.

I booked Mishti Desh for my brother’s walima and it was the supreme choice 🥰🥰🥰 We live in Cardiff and drove to Birmingham to try their menu before booking and it was worth every mile we travelled! For the walima, we had a choice of apple, mango and guava juice to welcome our invitees. We opted for tandoori chicken, toms, sheesh kebabs to start; butter chicken, lamb curry and dahl with plain and pilau rice for mains and; a choice of firni or warmed gulab jaman for dessert for our guests. We also had masala tea after lunch 🤤🤤🤤 Any changes to the plan were communicated effectively between us. To say that the food was exquisite is an understatement! Anything can go wrong when catering for a reception, but the delicious food was served hot and our guests left happy and satisfied. The team arrived on-site promptly, set up for the day and were very hospitable throughout the day. The memories of the butter chicken will forever be etched in my mind 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 We would love to work with you again because you were an absolute joy!
