Mishtidesh Ltd in Birmingham

last monday on eid, we went to mishtidesh and it was super busy but the service was good and the food was great. we expected slow service because of how busy it was but everything was smooth and we were checked up on multiple times.

Few days ago in the evening of Ramadan, we went to get some sweets and while entering there’s one big guy with glasses screaming “closed, closed !” But we tried to explain that we came here to buy some sweets but the man won’t stop screaming closed closed, after insisting a lot he sold us some mishti but arrogance and aggressive and with anger, and his face was looked with a lot of anger in the world, very rude, worse experience, never go there.

I tried the Iftar platter today, it was pretty good and was warm considering it was Iftar. The manager and staff were friendly and our service was good, we were checked on multiple times which is good. Thats why the service was 5/5. Thanks for having us and we will definitely come back again.❤️

The food was okay but the staff were rubbish absolutely horrendous never coming back again!

Their food is absolutely delicious, with rich flavors and authentic spices. Perfect for Asian cuisine lovers, offering a variety of mouthwatering dishes. Highly recommended for an unforgettable dining experience. A must-try

First of all the food quality was not to bad. When i went there the shop was a bit busy , but when it comes to the service i had experienced a very rude service from one of your staff. Perhaps his name is mintu. His behaviour was so rude . He never learned how to talk with customers. In my opinion he must be in the kitchen with the dishes 😂😂😂 it may help him to learn some manner…

Lovely atmosphere, excellent traditional food

Recently we visitited mishtidesh small heath on 1st Ramadan for ifter party. The food was really nice with good service. Highly recommended

We went to Coventry rd branch in the first day of Ramadan. We were told that they will provide us food for £15 per head . It was thé worst experience. We were given large quantities of tasteless stale dale . Undercooked chicken peas and 5 pieces of chicken wings that were tasteless and undercooked. The rice was mixed with meat but mostly bones. We asked for plain rice and were told they don’t have it. Staff were nice tough but not the boss or the manager . Never go there again. Not recommended

The Smash patty burger and shatkora kebabish here is amazing. As are the staff they are so attentive. The owner Mintu is a lovely Gentleman always goes the extra mile to make you feel special.

Try the Irani Chom Chom it’s the best. The smash burger is very nice and the restaurant has been renovated looks good 👍🏾

Mistidesh Asian fusion restaurant ! I had an amazing dining experience at Mistidesh . From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and aroma of Indian spices set the mood. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. We ordered lamb chops,kala bhuna , garlic naan, and tandoori chicken birany , chips and every dish was rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. The balance of spices was just right—not too overwhelming, but still packed with authenticity. The service was prompt, and our server made excellent recommendations. To top it off, the dessert—gulab jamun—was the perfect sweet ending. This is hands down one of the best Indian restaurants I’ve been to, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Mishti Desh is our absolute go-to restaurant! We travel all the way from Coventry just to eat here because the food is that incredible. This mistidesh branch is dreadful the food is probably the worst iv had ever, food is covered in gallons of oil, most of the curries was tasteless grilled salmon was so dry it looked old.some of my family members had diarrhoea the day after!! I only visited this branch because the lozells one was fully booked. Never again will I come to the coventry road branch!!!

Can't go wrong going here. The food is delicious, I've had a variety of foods here now and they have all been delicious. My favourite has been their smash burgers. Their customer service has always been brilliant, checking on us, friendly staff and the manager is really good to us. They even gave a family member of ours a privacy barrier so she could nurse her baby. We didn't ask, they saw and provided. Only criticism is if the food can come out a bit faster but to be honest it's worth the wait. Everytime we come Birmingham, we always come here.

Delicious food amazing atmosphere

I have a Bengali wife and she says this place is authentic. Food is always fresh and very tasty. I have been coming here for around 3-4 years and the quality is always excellent.

Lovely deco nice waiter, service was good but food was appsolutly horrendous. We had papadoms, samosa, khacci biriani, senna bhuna,wings, and to wash it down with appletizers. Honestly, the meat was taste less, It seemed like it was in a poletin bag, then they heated it in the microwave, then served it on the plate with lots of salad and boiled egg placed on top. It's really disappointing 😞

I always try their Bangladeshi breakfast whenever I visit this place. 2pcs porota, spicy omelette, mixed vegetables, beef liver bhuna and tea/coffee. Taste so good! Price is also reasonable. £7 per plate/thali. Highly recommended.

By far the most authentic Bengali food you can get in Birmingham.Its as good as home cooked Bengali food.The staff are always working hard and good to see the same faces every time I order takaway.Keep it up brothers

Amazing delicious food here. If you want to eat authentic desi food then this is the place. Amazing taste and felt like eating at home. It really satisfied our soul. We frequently come here for Hilsa fish curry meal and mouthwatering sweets. Highly recommend this place 👏👏😊❤️

One of the restaurants I go nowadays regularly with my friend. Food quality is good, prices are affordable. I haven't tried any authentic Bengali food from there yet, but the normal South Asian foods are nice.

Food was lovely, totally different from what we was used to, yet tasty and fresh. We also got a free dish to try also which was lovely. The place has a lovely atmosphere, clean and spacious. Service from all staff we came across were fabulous and had a lovely friendly experience afternoon.Thank you.

Lovely homely traditional Bengali food and the best service! Highly recommend this place, made to feel like you’re part of the family. Try the khala bhuna! Very good price points too.

Had an event today 15th September and the food was as amazing as it always is. It must be the 30th time we have been there with family events and they never fail to amaze us with their delicious food. The moong daal with meat hit the spot!

Good quality food and reasonably priced. Special mention to Imran for his excellent customer service skills. The downside is listening to the manager/supervisor bashing his staff over orders etc.

Nice food and good buffet selection. Food is fresh and tasty and there is lots of variety as these guys know what they are doing with seafood as well as other types of meat, poultry and vegetables.

Great service, and food! At first I was hesitant, and unsure of what to order, as I had not previously been there before. But a waiter called Raju, went beyond and above to make my first dining experience there enjoyable! He had great knowledge of the menu, and enthusiastically described the dishes, sharing personal recommendations aswell such as the tandoori biryani. Which I very much enjoyed!

My business partner and I had a great experience with the food and staff a month ago. So this Sunday I took my family hoping for the same. Unfortunately it was a complete turn around, part of my order didn't arrive at the table towards the end, I ordered tawa roti and got tandoori roti, they corrected it. Food was ok. Service was below par, I never once received an apology, even though there was a manager/owner walking around in a karvat. Very friendly first time (different manager)total difference now. Back to the drawing board looking for a regular once a month family treat

The food was delicious, with authentic flavors that truly stood out. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with attentive service, made it a memorable visit. Highly recommended!

Quite a mixed experience. To be honest I am regular here for Bangladeshi sweets/mishti. Few times I had launch and breakfast also. Overall, the food quality was good overall given that we dont have many choices for Bangladeshi curry and vegetables in Birmingham. Specially their beef curry was good. Their atmosphere and staff were excellent. However, recently had their shutki bhorta and kochur loti which were awful. Their quality of food has gone down significantly. Been victim of sour yoghurt in the name of sweet / mishti dahi/doe/yogurt. They refunded the money. Overall wouldnt recommend if you want Bangladeshi flavour in the food, until they improve significantly.

Visited this Restaurant with some Brumians and I must say I was left underwhelmed. Upon entering, the staff just blanked us and we somewhat felt unwelcomed. We were very close to walking out, but thankfully (for them) their Gaffa spotted us and asked his staff to seat us. The food itself was ok, the waiting time wasn't too bad. The service after this was pretty decent. A word to Management. I understand you're open for long hours and your staff maybe a tad overworked, but all customers deserve a decent service. We are the ones who pay their wages. More front of house training is required for your staff members.

This customer service was amazing, one young boy called Adnan served us and treated us as a family. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was really calm. I would love to go back there and would recommend.

Mishti Desh on Lozells: We absolutely inhaled the fish pakoras. The smash burgers were SMASHING! And to top it off the keema paratha (Katlama) was divine with the chilli sauce. I would highly recommend 😍

One of the best desi food and restaurant. I travel a 2 hour journey to go there as the service and food is fantastic. The staffs always look after us.

Best food and best place for all the Bengali’s. We just love all of their items. Food tastes 10/10. Every time we go there Fahad serve us. Very good guy. Always listen what we want and how we want our food and bring it on table perfectly. Highly recommend. Must try is their Murog Pulaw ….

Mishtidesh catered my wedding and the food was amazing, everyone enjoyed it and I was really impressed by their service. Would highly recommend their catering services for functions! I have also taken food from their restaurant which never disappoints, always good quality and enjoyable ☺️

This place is great! Atmosphere is chill and cool & the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about. They can make customer happy by their highest behaviour and customer is their main priority. Food is pretty good, bangali food like chitol kufta, biriyani, tarka daal and their chomchom is best and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.

I have been to two weddings where Mishti-desh have catered and if I could give zero stars I would. They need to learn how to cook their chicken, my mum can give them free lessons if they want to save people’s stomachs! At one wedding, they told guests not to eat the chicken and started taking the plates away and a recent wedding that I went to, we cut into the chicken and we knew it was raw. The daal was burnt and my throat burnt too. The vegetable curry was still crunchy, I might as well have eaten from the packet! I’ll give credit where it’s due, they gave some nice canapés, but they lost me after they served the starters. They are a money making business by selling gone off and uncooked food and it’s terrible. Never book these people if you want save your money, tastebuds and stomach!

This has become our regular eat out option. Good quality food. Used to go to Shazan kebab for 15 years. This place is best for eat in,curries, kebab and Deshi misti/sweet. They are very busy hence food is excellent 👌
