Chocolate and caramel cake. This is the worst cake I have ever tasted in uk. Today is my birthday, so i thought i should give myself a treat, but this cake ruined it. Sadly, this cake is too much dry. Don't want to give even one star to this cake.

Visited just now and had the funniest service from 2 young lads. Friendly, hospitable and best cappacino I’ve had in a while

What even is this? Dirty water and no Straw! Not what I got as advertised in the photo Never ordering with just eat again if this is what you send out to us . Utterly disgusting

But. It shuts at 18.30 each night and often earlier. Probably depending on staffing.

Nice and cosy tooled away on a corner of the fort shopping park. Great coffee and tea, the food is not bad either. Great, quick, chatty staff always helps. I use this penny university (look it up) regularly and I've always come away happy.

It’s the staff that make the experience soooo much better.The young lady making the coffee she’s always smiling and so bubbly.The lady at the till she reminds me of being at home,just so welcoming.Best place to get coffee when doing shopping at fort, And a nice place to just sit and chill out with family kids.

Not a clean place the male staff serving with a dirty short pance on and too much touching his mouth and beard while serving I won't visit again

It was a very busy day, the place was filling up and I could tell that the staff were working hard to keep up, but they were keeping up and more importantly than that, they were super polite and friendly and didn't let the pressure get to them, still found the time to smile and laugh with customers. I don't know how much they pay the staff here, but it's not enough.

Had a fantastic experience yesterday, debating on whether to try the new ice whipped latte , and Wayne and another lady (sorry I forgot your name!) were fantastic in giving us opinions and so patient while we faffed about choosing!’ Fantastic customer service!

Excellent service. Happiest and the best customer service ever received. Customers happy, everyone leaving with a smile due to the happy service. (SEAN taking the orders with his hair tied back an asset to Costa). He should be customer training Manager. My fav costa. Other costa at next...rubbish. take away only at 3.30pm, when they shut at 5pm.

It is a perfect place to take a well earned rest whilst shopping. Great cheerful service, nothing is too much trouble for the staff. I would thoroughly recommend a visit here.

Costa Costa upstairs at Next is just a joy to be at. Relaxing and with a good view through the windows. The young staff are pleasant and enhance the atmosphere. Costa Coffee of course is always good :-)

It was small inside and a bit dark. Service very good. Was clean inside. Have been in a few more times.

A very small store. The door to the store room was open and it looked very unkempt. When we visited (Monday afternoon) it was virtually empty, save for one older couple. Staff were very friendly and helpful, however there was very limited choice in mugs/gifts compared to other Costas and little choice in vegetarian sandwiches.

Met up with a mate for a coffee and it was a love cup of coffee

I travel a lot with work and regularly frequent Costa. First time I’ve been to The Fort. Julie was beyond friendly, helpful and just a delight. Very very good at her job and is an amazing asset to the business. Happy Christmas!!

We visited this place today, and the toilet is very poorly maintained.

The food was lovely, especially the Christmas toastie! And the hot chocolate. It was quite busy, and we had to clear a table with dirty plates and cups to sit down. So the table wasn't cleaned either. I saw a few others had to do so as well. I think they obviously need more staff on a Saturday to keep the cafe up to scratch.

Probably the smallest Costa Coffee I've ever visited. Took a while to be served wouldn't go back again.

Eve, was amazing and kind enough to change my drink even when I ordered the incorrect drink. Thank you so much for the brilliant customer experience and making me want to come here again.

First time visiting here. We were given a lovely warm welcome even though it was very busy that day. The guy who served us was happy and extremely helpful to our needs. Nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning. Great first experience 👍🏽

Abit of a tight squeeze but otherwise it lovely. Costa so you can't go wrong but one of the better ones. The barista's here have always been lovely and I've always found it to be lovely and clean.

Always busy be prepared for a queue. Today the dark haired young lady and the tall chap with the top knot were on top of a busy lunch session. Not always the case. Excellent service. Busy but still had time for the customers.

Had a fantastic experience at Costa Coffee at The Fort Shopping Park. Had a lovely friendly atmosphere. The manageress went out of her way to help us set up the Costa app and claim our free drinks. Staff seemed happy and the manageress was so warm and welcoming. Thankyou

It's not a massive unit but it's centrally positioned on the retail park and the staff are really lovely thoroughly recommend it

Sadly, they don’t have wifi to offer to their customers. This is ridiculously unacceptable in this 21st century. Hence just 1 star. Good customer service though.

Lovely and friendly staff, very clean . Drinks were amazing Christmas season drinks Toblerone Latte and Christmas Chocolate Wreath !! Definitely a great place to stop for a hot drink !

There's always a really great vibe at this Costa. The staff seem to be having a good time and bring the customers into that. I always pop in for a while when I'm at The Fort.

Purchased two drinks and toast on my last visit here and must say the staff are so happy and friendly to chat to. Will be visiting here again. My only fault is that there’s limited plugs and no WiFi for remote workers, so I had to hotspot from my phone.

Ten people in the queue with only one lady serving isn't good. I also counted three flies behind the counter and one in the seating area.

Purchased two drinks today and must say the staff are so happy and caring. Made me giggle lots at the counter and just made my whole day.

Average coffee with a longer than average wait to get it. Might as well go to McDonald's less wait time and a third of the price.

The staff were friendly, it was just really busy, long queue and not much seating.

It was so busy today but the 2 young men behind the counter were efficient and cheerful. They served quickly and tidied tables as soon as they could. I was so impressed with their attitude as they entertained the customers with cheerful singing and dancing!

The staff was very friendly and helpful I had a scooter to charge and they were fine with that moved chairs so I could put my mobility scooter and made me very welcome .The coffees were lovely .

Very busy tables were dirty, with other people's cups and rubbish on. I guess it was just busy and short staffed. We sat outside and all tables had trays with used cups on. Coffe was nice

Fantastic staff, service as quick as they can when complicated orders need to be made but seem like a awesome team (wished i liked coffee I'd visit more often). Well worth a tip if you can.

This is such a nice little Costa. It is always quite full when we go, but I suppose that tells you that it is a good one! I went for coffee with some friend and the place was full but the queue went down quickly, our drinks order was taken and we got our drink really quickly too. No mistakes or anything and considering how busy it was, the staff were still really helpful, helping me collect some points on my Costa app when I wasn't sure how to do it, and they were very friendly. The tables were clean and we saw staff cleaning them when people beside us got up to leave ready for the next people. The food selection was great and while Costa has always been quite pricey in my opinion, it's great for a little treat! I wish the shop was a bit bigger, but there's nothing they can do about that. overall the staff make the shop, really happy to help and never seem to be in a bad mood or give customer service, even with rude people in the line behind us! I will certainly be coming back!
