The best restaurants in Nechells Birmingham West Midlands

Started coming here recently and won’t go anywhere else now. Very tasty fish n chips, proper mushy peas and tartar sauce.

I recently came here with my family this week Monday evening after a very long while. I usually get waffles if it’s a dessert place and so I ordered the bonaffee peanut waffles…it came much better than I expected and really filling which is what I like or how it should be💯. Along with that, the cookie dough and ice cream was the best. Appreciate the service always🤝

The service is just horrible, extremely low operational efficiency. Customers have to go to counter to get utensil, menu and wait for like 10mins to just order the food because the staff is too busy to care. They don’t even apologise on that (seems they take it for granted) Disappointing service. We saw somebody (other customers) have to do everything on their own , went out like 5 times to get whatever they needed … Service charge was mandatory tho…. Food overall is fine mixing with TW and Japanese dishes. The service (front line workers) just ruin the experience and the food.

No mobile phone service in the room, the wifi was slow, and there was no phone in the room to ring reception, but other than that everything else ok.

Both Mohameds working today where amazing the food was great and they had some impressive customer service

Ask for coffees and the service was poor waiting to get serve but one of the staff got bad behaviour bad attitude didn’t like it bad experience don’t know what they serve thanks .

use this place a lot for birmingham city football games staff although under pressure cope admirably with a smile on there faces prices are cheap as well

Shop needs a refurbish old tatty place. No hygiene. Gone downhill big time. Use to be a regular for the pizza. Prices have gone up and food quality has gone down. Hardly put any toppings on the pizza and very minimal cheese. All you really get now is dough and tomato paste as a pizza. Really guys fix yourselves up and stop being so bloody tight, until then you will lose a-lot more customers.

Tried the fried chicken gizzard and the spicy fried chicken wings. The batter was the perfect crisp and I really enjoyed the spicy punch. I was pining for some good fried chicken, and this place definitely scratched that food itch.

Next to the Chinese New Year's Day restaurant, the best Chinese food in the UK, especially the boiled fish

Kebabish was delicious - had a nice naga flavour to it. Chips were nice. Southern fried panini was poor. A little on the pricey side but definitely recommend trying the kebabish.
