WFC Whole Fried Chicken in Birmingham

Tried the fried chicken gizzard and the spicy fried chicken wings. The batter was the perfect crisp and I really enjoyed the spicy punch. I was pining for some good fried chicken, and this place definitely scratched that food itch.

Before I ate here, I had a small wee wee, no girlfriend and absolutely no will to live. None of these have changed but the food here is pretty great.

The food is great but the girl at the till got an attitude no manners, when asked for sauces she threw it. Sort your staff out.

Absolutely great place. This has to be the best fried chicken available in Birmingham hands down. Fresh, hot, flavourful and at a decent price, you can’t go wrong. Everything is good here, chicken, wings, burgers- choose whatever you want and you’ll enjoy. Definitely a shpot!

The food in this store is getting worse and worse. After the meal, got gastroenteritis symptoms. Quality is getting lower and lower. A year ago, the food in this restaurant was pretty good. But now, even the chicken legs are much salty (to me, I need at least 1 bottle of drinks so that I can finish 1 chicken leg) and have weird taste. Not good.

Chicken is very tasty, you can ask to make it spicy, lovely spicy kick, we were two and our first order was half chicken with great amount of chips, later we order a whole chicken, sizes are small so if you’re hungry go for the whole one. Make sure you ask them to CUT the chicken in small portions, it’s difficult to pull it apart when is so hot(temperature). Great staff, it can get super crowded.

The best fried chicken I’ve had, crispy and flavoursome. The wings are my all time favourite. I got the chicken thighs cos a whole chicken was a bit much for me. I enjoyed how crispy and well flavoured the thighs are, but the meat wasn’t as tender as I hoped. Still the best out there though! I prefer this to KFC cos the chicken isn’t greasy or too salty, literally perfect 🤌🏾

Don’t go here. Awful customer service, chips are dry, whole chicken was smaller than the burger. Didn’t let us choose sides, said we are getting spicy wings but put chicken niggets instead.

I found this ‘restaurant’ today whilst out with a few friends and we all went in and ordered food which came fairly quickly however what was said to be served on the menu was incorrect, for example on the menu it says mozzarella sticks however when i asked they said we don’t serve this. Also we paid for food and some did not come I tried to explain we had paid for this food however it had not come and even provided to receipt and the money that was taken out of my account yet they still made me pay for the food again. DO NOT GO HERE!! food is barley edible and service is shocking!!

I have to start by saying the food is incredibly fresh and tasty. I was walking in Chinatown on my way home and really wanted fried chicken so I thought I’d give it a go. The inside is so cute and I love the mascot and decorations. Even the takeaway bag isn’t stingy and well made. I got a spicy chicken burger and chicken wings w rice cakes. They were all very satisfying to eat but the spicy chicken burger was not spicy. Other than that, all of the other food was very very good. I think the main reason it is so nice is because of how fresh they make it. Despite this, I think they should expand their menu with new flavours since currently there are a lot of options for every similar things. They also need to advertise better since this is a great place to go. There is a lot of potential here.

This did not disappoint! Shop was clean and well maintained. Staff were really friendly and helpful when asking questions. I had the burger, fries and coke which cost £6.50 (not bad for price) the food was freshly made, the chicken had a little spice to it, fries were really crispy and portion size was generous, the drinks could be refrigerated but apart from that it’s worth trying as It’s far better then KFC.

The best fried chicken I've tried in Birmingham, far better than KFC etc. Chicken is tender, with a right amount of batter and not too greasy. The place itself is clean. I ordered black pepper whole fried chicken for £12. I ate it all myself in one go as the chicken wasn't large but you receive a good value for money

Got a takeaway of the salted egg whole chicken and fries. The chicken was small (enough for 2 people) but it was absolutely delicious, it was so flavourful and juicy! I would definitely recommend this place. I will plan on revisiting to try all the other dishes too.

Recommend to Chinese guys who miss the "authentic" flavours from street stalls. Chicken sandwiches are awesome. Sometimes, the fried chicken is too salty. But anyway, I give five stars, cause I never find any other fried chicken restaurants with similar flavours in Birmingham.

Juicy and flavourful chicken, all make for orders, so it won't dry out on the rack. It's definitely worth the wait! 👌

First of all I gave this place one star only for the can of coke....This was one of the worst meals I have ever eaten if not the worst £13 for 2 pieces of chicken and chips with a can of coke twice.The chips where luke warm but the chicken was so hot they gave you gloves to eat it ..It was so hard after being deep Fried so dry you would need a hammer and chisel to brake it open. Never ever again..as I was leaving I told the Chinese guy behind the counter what I thought...he said 0 thank you very much

Started out ok, but price gone up and the size of the whole chicken shrink as well, not worth the 16£ for a whole chicken meal

The original recipe fried chicken was very delicious. It was freshly cooked and the meat was moist and tender. The place is more of a takeaway although they do have 3 tables for diners. Definitely one of the best fried chicken I've had.

The food was so good and customer service is excellent, the shop is so clean and inviting it’s so beautiful inside and the quality of the food is 10/10 so fresh and crispy, they make most of it fresh when u order it’s my favourite, just imagine kfc but 1000 time better. They also give u a nice bag with your order

An accidental find that I'm pleased about. Only bought the popcorn chicken which was absolutely yum. The crunch was perfect. The cashier was very helpful as I had lift coming in short amount of time. A Korean experience I didn't realised I needed.

2nd time trying out Whole Fried Chicken and I can happily day I'd recommend it 💯! Previously, I've ordered the spicy chicken burger 🍔 meal, 2 spicy chicken wings and orlean wings (I think they are called) 🍗, this time I ordered 2 piece chicken meal and 2 spicy wings. The taste is very different when compared to KFC or Dixy Chicken, the original recipe from Whole Fried Chicken its got a little spice to it and more salt rha usual, some may find it a tad too salty but don't let it put you off. The staff are accomodating, even if there is a slight language barrier, but it's easy to order by pointing at the menu. Speaking of the menu I will mention that certain items, such as the meteorite burger 🍔, are not available anymore so it might be worth checking when you make your order 🗣️. There are seating arrangements and I believe some charging facilities for mobiles. I will definitely be trying out this place again and I would definitely recommend it! 💯 Side note: I did not tell the staff I will be leaving my review, and this review is my honest thoughts on this shop! 💯. Alot of money for a little chicken. Couldn't find much else for fried chicken in brum and thought I'd give this a go. Ordered black pepper half fried chicken and actually found it more salty than peppery, once I'd got through the coating there wasn't much chicken to eat and I had to survive on just the fries. I'd not go back, and I'd not recommend.

It clearly says they sell ham and pork and at the same time they claim they sell HALAL. I spoke to the owner to try and get a separate fryer and he adamantly replied that he can’t get a separate fryer for pork and ham. I specifically asked him if they fry HALAL and ham/pork in the same oil and he said they do. I have attached their menu and they simply don’t know the difference between Halal and pork. We were recommended this place from family and friends but now the news is spreading that it’s not halal just because of the one item.

Had high expectations of trying their salted egg whole fried chicken. Ordered a takeaway. At a costs of £12 for a chicken it was not cheap However the size of the chicken was no bigger than a small poussin, it was tiny, same size as 4 pieces of chicken from "KFC". The chicken was nothing special very disappointed, would not recommend.

I've been to a few Taiwanese chicken places since I was in Taiwan. This has definitely became my 2nd favourite. They offer rice cakes which I've never seen before in a Taiwanese Chicken shop. The chicken was very hot and wasn't dry at all. Their 'spicy' items aren't too spicy and are definitely pallitable for westerners. Staff are very friendly and made my visit a pleasant one. Definitely worth a visit.

This is BY FAR the best fried chicken place I have ever been to, and I have been to tons of fried chicken places. The food was flavorsome, succulent, not dry, so fresh, crispy and not at all oily. When I go again, I am definitely going to got the 'peach sauce' because that plus the chicken is absolutely beautiful. You can see them making the chicken from fresh and when it comes to you, it is piping hot. I would say this place is 10x better than KFC. The staff were really friendly and nice as well. Definitely would recommend, favourite place to eat in Birmingham. 😊😊

Simply fantastic fried chicken! I had the Korean box with wings covered in a mustard sauce and rice cakes (basically cheese filled topokki) in a spicy sauce. My wife had a chicken burger and we shared some regular wings. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. We're definitely going back, and next time we'll get the whole fried chicken!

Juiciest delicious fried chicken!!

May be my favourite fried chicken ever. We had the salted egg yolk whole fried chicken. It was really crispy and juicy, with great flavour throughout, and was still hot by the time we finished the chicken! Would recommend to anyone looking for amazing fried chicken in Birmingham, they also have other flavours that look great like black meteorite, coke, and plum sour, as well as burgers and wraps!
