Food good. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. They have set price meal Offer on Tuesdays Wednesdays.If you don't want your dish too spicy they will tone it down. The back ground music is terrible sounds like record has stuck.

Hi readers. I’m from out of town and I didn’t even get to this restaurant. Gave them a call to book a table for 10 people (birthday celebration). The chap that answered the phone clearly doesn’t care about his or his boss’s business. It sounded like I was an inconvenience to be honest, rather than a potential valued customer. The lack of enthusiasm and customer service left a poor first impression with me. And you all know, you only get one chance to make a first impression!! So, we went to a local Italian restaurant ‘Pesto’ instead. Had a wonderful time and the staff were super pleased to have us. Oh!!! We spent a small fortune too…

been meaning to try this place for a while now, after looking at the reviews thought we'd order, delivery was quick sadly the food wasn't up to scratch, the biryani was bland (no salt or spice) and Rogan was full of large tomato pieces, however the chicken in the biryani was cooked well and the lamb in the Rogan was tender just lacked flavour. bit disappointed.

Food was amazing! Delivery driver was very well dressed and very polite. Would highly recommend and will order here again!

Just finished a lovely evening meal at this excellent restaurant. At the last minute I decided to take my lovely wife for a meal and after some Internet trawling decided on Rizwaas in Sutton. Service was outstanding and the quality of food was superb with some very relaxing smooth jazz providing a very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. From the light and crispy poppadoms to the creamy Nan we were blown away by the quality and value. Starting off we both enjoyed one of the best sheek kebabs I have tasted in very long time(a little salt would have been perfect), prepared fresh and cooked in the tandoor to order, I enjoyed the King prawn balti which was cooked fresh with perfectly balanced flavors and with a smooth and creamy finish for me was outstanding. My wife enjoyed the chicken pathia, full of chicken and bursting with sweet and sour flavour that made it very moreish. Overall 10 out of 10 all around, and my complements to a very talented chef and kitchen team. And our very attentive waiter who made our first visit a lovely experience. We will definitely be returning again and I can whole heartedly recommend this restaurant.

We tried Riwaas on Saturday night 13th July and what a gem this place is. It was quite late but thankfully we were accommodated. I had the king prawn pathia and the king prawns were the biggest I've ever seen and the pathia sauce was the perfect compliment to them. I'm a bit of a pathia expert so when I say it was amazing it really was up there amongst the best. I wish I'd taken some photos. Oh well, maybe next time as I'll definitely be back.

Went in with family for a dinner The food is extremely substandard (just tasted two starters) and the third dish had no resemblance to what was written on the menu card … not authentic by any stretch of imagination Also an extremely rude and arrogant manager/ owner Honestly a joke of a place this is …..

We had a large party here with around 40 of us on the evening of 15/6/24 starting at 7pm. A lot of money was spent. We'd seen so much about the restaurant on the internet. The food was okay but there wasn't a single dish that we thought was delicious, at best, just nice (the vegetable curry for example). The 2 young waiters had the warmth of ice-cubes and seemed to have zero skills of how to communicate with customers. Towards the end of our party we were filming some speeches and they just kept walking in front of the camera with zero care. No common sense. I'd commented that I hadn't received any tea yet even though they seemed to be taking away dessert dishes and some others had had tea. The young waiter coldly argued "we were only told 15 teas. Do you want an extra?" I went and found the second young waiter and he seemed to have a trolley of 7 teas that were still coming. They were luke-warm temperature. So poor communication, poor service, and average food. We will never bother coming back to a place like this. Over-priced, average food, poor customer service. Very disappointing in nearly all of our opinions. Also we weren't allowed to take any of the leftover food home. Oh and long wait times for the food, and a little difficult parking. Also, men's toilet had no soap in it. Dreadful. Surprisingly bad experience.

Dined here tonight for Father’s Day with my family and it was perfect service, food, ambience,highly recommend staff lovely food excellent will be our place to go now without doubt thank you.

Hi .we celebrated our dad's 80th on 8/6/2024.we had table booked for 16 people The set up was great. The food was excellent from the poppadoms all the way up to Main course ,the waiters were fantastic, nd even the manager which was nice of him came to Say hello. We would highly recommend this fine restaurant ,and once again thank you very much

Excellent Restaurant, Fast service and quality food. Mehtaab looked after us for a 80th birthday which was 15 people. All 15 were impressed and couldn’t give enough compliments for the food and the service. Would 100% recommend to anybody to give this a try. Affordable, quality food with quality staff to match. Very impressed! When Riiwaas first took over from Baijaan's, it wasn't good news, to be honest, but having seen some glowing reviews of late, I thought I'd give it another go and I'm glad I did. Good, flavoursome stuff with some nice attention to detail (a decent salad with a starter makes a refreshing change from the all-too-common bag of pale, wilting lettuce!) The meat dishes don't skimp on the meat, either - something else that makes a nice change. Definitely worth a go!

Best Indian restaurant around here by a mile, best flavour, always fresh, hot and delivered quickly. Even the delivery driver is polite which makes a nice change!

First time user - and very happy with the order. Best Peshwari Nan in ages, the bhajis were exactly what we needed, the Pathia was tangy, sweet and spicy. The Chilli Garlic with Chicken Tikka was amazing. We’ll be back !!

Fresh tasty and exactly what I expected

A very disappointing meal here for us. We ordered a range of meals including a biriyani, dhal and garlic chicken dish. Everything had very little taste and lacked spice. We had to add salt to all the dishes to be able to eat it. On the plus side the service was friendly and decor was nice. Unfortunately we wouldn't return based on the quality of our meals.

Food was lovely. Poppadoms were nice and crispy (not greasy or soft like most places). Would definitely use again, and would highly recommend to others. Thank you for an awesome meal.

Attended on a Sunday evening, restaurant decorated really nice, open kitchen which was a surprise, it’s nice seeing the chefs at work. Waiters were nice and pleasant, food was delicious.

Lovely restaurant, food was phenomenal, only downside was I had some poppadoms, a butter chicken no sides and a glass of wine which came to £20. The butter chicken is £10. Wasn't expecting the price to be as high as it was but otherwise a really good restaurant, good atmosphere, staff are brilliant and would highly recommend this as a stop on the list.

Amazing food! The starter tikka pieces, and bombay selection were tasty. I had a chicken Dhansak and it was a 10/10.

Although primarily a restaurant, from my own personal experience I would like to recommend this place for small to medium sized parties and functions... and is a reason for this review. My bride and I used this restaurant for our reception and boy did we make a good choice. A point to mention is that we didn't have a large crowd and therefore did not need a huge venue, and the Riwaas function area was ideal for our needs. The set (unlimited) menu was amazing and we were given a lot of input into what was served which included vegetarian options. The manager met us every time we made an enquiry and made us feel really special. The price was very affordable as well as delicious.

My husband and I love the food and the service here, we go for casual dining and yesterday for a works Christmas meal, the staff are beyond accommodating, one of our guests yesterday is a chef himself and was excited at the menu choices and loved the food. Ordered a week ago. The food tastes horrible, what a waste of money. I can make a better curry at home. No offence to the owner of this restaurant, but if you want a shot at success I'd recommend you either hire a new chef or make a change to how the dishes are made. The chicken curry was supposed to be spicy but it was sweet, there was literally no spice to it. the meat curry wasn't anything special either, just a bit of water and Spices chucked in and served. Thw biryani was alright, it couldve done with a bit more... taste to it. To be honest the lamb chops were really good, and thats the only thing we enjoyed from here. And what is it with your chef chucking in a handful of the little black seeds into the curry? A pinch is fine, no need to chuck hundreds of them in. I know it's good for your health or whatever, but do you guys even notice how many your putting in? And on top of that your putting it into a sweet curry? The first time I ordered from riwaas was when they freshly took over the place, the food was rubbish then as well but I thought id give them another try seeing as it's been a while since they took over... its gotten worse lol. I Wish riwaas all the best, but I'll definitely never eat there again and I wouldn't recommend anyone eating here until they change the taste of their food.

We ordered food from this restaurant, total of 5 dishes, I ate the Prawn curry and came out in an itchy rash and indigestion at night. rung up Riwaas and all they said was that it waS the first time they had this. Next night my husband ate the butter chicken it was so sweet and he had indigestion and itchiness. Surely they are putting in something that gave us indigestion and allergic reaction. I am from India and used to spicy indian food. This has never happened to us. Unfortunately we threw all the other dishes in the bin. We never heard an peep from Riwaas and we will never eat from there ever. Its not authentic.The previous restaurant was fantastic.

Very nice deco the staff were amazing especially the manager Majid, we were a table for 2 I had the lamb chops and butter chicken both were amazing, the lamb chops were full of flavour and quality cuts of meat the butter chicken was one of the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be returning.

We booked the restaurant for my son's 21st birthday celebrations. Majid was so helpful throughout the process and despite me having to make some last minute changes, everything was accommodated with no issues. We were given a private dining area and a set menu arranged, catering to different tastes. Every single person who attended (30+ of us) commented just how good the food and service were. We really can't thank you enough for such a special evening x

If you want an Indian dining experience this is NOT the place. I am talking specifically about the vegetarian menu. The sabji ( main course) was like a starter there is no gravy but only pieces of paneer, onions and pepper that's it. I ordered kadhai paneer but it seemed like paneer chilli dry. Even the staff is busy with their own stuff either you need to wait for them to get their attention or get up to call them.

Lovely food and amazing staff! The pompadums are nice and crispy, starters come out perfectly! Onto the mains! Beautifully presented flavoursome and perfect! Overall I’d give it 9.4/10! Awesome guys keep it up!
