The best restaurants in Edgbaston Birmingham West Midlands

I eat at Don Diego in Birmingham. It is Spanish restaurant and food is very good. I feel like in Spain. I try tapas and they are delicious. My favorite is patatas bravas and calamari. The restaurant is small but nice. Decoration is like Spain and music is good. I feel comfortable. Staff is friendly and they help me choose food. I speak little English, they are patient and kind. I recommend Don Diego for people who like Spanish food. It is good place for eat and enjoy.

Staff were so inviting and helped through the entire process to create the perfect pop. The options available were fantastic and there was so much to choose from, I LOVED the pistachio gelato.

Great breakfast. I had a mini breakfast. Food was lovely, high quality ingredients and tasted very fresh. Cafe is nicely decorated and is clean. Highly recommend.

Good choice for cooked breakfast, you get to choose exactly what you want, rather than having a 'standard' full english breakfast. Good coffee. Clean and friendly. Lots of people coming in for takeaways, seems very popular.

We attend at least three events per year at this banqueting establishment. St David's Day, The Hearts of England and the Welsh Society. It never disappoints, whether 50 or 300 diners, the restaurant is always beautifully laid out, the menu always offers 3 to 4 choices for each course and the food and service is excellent. Well done serving hot good quality dishes to large amounts of people. Staff are trained really well. Been going for several years now and never had a negative experience. Good size stage and bar areas, I wish they were open to the general public for functions, shows, tribute nights, etc. particularly around Christmas.

Comida fabulosa, personal amable y atento, entorno relajado. Mi marido es italiano y pasamos mucho tiempo comiendo buena comida italiana en Italia. Es difícil encontrar buena comida italiana en el Reino Unido, pero fogo era excelente. Éramos dos familias de 4 y los 8 platos eran de primera clase. ¡Volveremos! ¡Grazie Mille!

Disappointing service, food gone down hill, better places to go. Place needs to step up.

Had a wonderful private wine tasting party for my dad's 70th bday. Our host was so knowledgable and couldn't do enough for us. Team are so friendly and the wines OMG amazing, not to mention the food provided to accompany. Highly recommend Loki to all.

We were recommended Chapter and booked a celebration meal for our 60th wedding anniversary. Irene and her team made our night a very special event. We were given our own reserved area and waitress to look after us and the food and service the whole evening was 5 star. The location of the restaurant is located in a lovely quiet area in Edgbaston Village and would not hesitate in recommending Chapter for a regular meal or bigger celebration. Lovely atmosphere, great quality food and friendly staff.

This was a wonderful indulgent treat, gifted by a good friend. We had a 3 course lunch, where the plates were small, but there were so many little extra courses we certainly did not leave hungry. For me the many tasters was wonderful as I can get bored of one large plate that loses its individual tastes. The service was immaculate, I even had a footstool for my handbag!

So another sat afternoon and 2 more pizzas for the three of us. Really great flavour. It doesn't feel that we ate outside as the sourdough was so light. Recommended to my friends as well who had a large meeting there pre Christmas. Don't change a thing, please.
