I went for afternoon tea with my friend it was such a lovely experience food and customer service was on point it was for my bday treat

We had a fantastic afternoon tea that was full of beautiful food and charming surroundings. We were pleasently greeted and shown to our seat that was ready and clean. I had a coffee to start with and my wife had tea, we were asked regularly if we needed topping up. The food was amazing and tasted fresh and flavourful, the dry ice was a nice touch to add to the wow factor.

Although the menu stated that Ba-Ha vegan serves gluten free food, this was in fact not the case as they let me know after I asked that they do not cater to coeliacs. A real shame and I had to sit sipping my drink while my friends tucked in. Allergen disclaimer on the menu brings this up to a 2 star from one, however they should remove (gfa) from their menu, if it’s not possible.

Unit 3, 4 Lower Severn St, Birmingham B1 1PU, United KingdomI visited twice and enjoyed my meal both times! The sushi is pretty good quality especially the salmon! The unagi jyu was great too, I found it quite rich and difficult to finish but that is just the nature of the dish I was happy to find a good Japanese restaurant 😊 if I’m ever back in Birmingham I will come here again
